About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years, and caring for my own senior pup has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage of life. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with routines, gentle handling, medication reminders, and giving pets the extra attention they may need to feel safe and comfortable. I am also continuously improving my skills as a sitter—I take my dog to training classes and apply those lessons to the pets I care for. This has helped me learn about positive reinforcement, building trust, and managing different personalities and energy levels. I take dogs out for regular leashed walks in my quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood, and my neighbors are very nice, making it a comfortable and safe area for daily walks. Indoors, your dog will always be kept in a secure, calm environment. I never leave pets unattended, and I follow your preferred routines for feeding, bathroom breaks, and leash handling. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.

About: I've loved dogs (and cats) since I was a child. Which includes feeding, brushing, walking, bathing and playing with. I consider myself a pet person. I am available most of the time. I work at a remote job and have very flexible hours. I can make multiple visits per day if needed. I walk my dogs every morning and evening. We only miss when temperatures are too low and it isn't safe. If that's the case we play inside.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and pet sat for family and friends dogs through middle school and high school. During college and a little after I fostered puppies and dogs who needed special attention. I have a two year old miniature dachshund. I work four on call shifts a week. About: I have grown up with all kinds of pets, from dogs, to cats, to even guinea pigs. I am a huge animal lover and genuinely feel so happy when I am around them. I currently have a 13 year old orange cat that is my entire world. I have had him since he was born and we share such a special bond. I know that pets are part of your family and of course I want to make sure your family is safe and comfortable while you are away. I have experience with senior cats and dogs. Both of which have had medication requirements. I have helped with crate training and potty training puppies. I currently work full-time with a flexible schedule. I am able to adapt to whatever needs your pet. I am mostly available early AM, late afternoons, and evenings. l care for your pets with what their usual routine is. I know some pets can have a hard adjustment to their owner being gone and I want to keep them as comfortable as possible.

About: Huge animal lover here! I’m the live-in aunt of two sweet Golden Doodles (Winston and Winslow), as well as the cat mom to two Siamese (Boots and Kiwi) - all of which I’m totally obsessed with. Having taken full time care of all of them for 4 years, as well as many family and friends’ pet sitting opportunities, I’m excited to expand and offer the same attentive, loving care to your pets. Whether it’s daily walks or cozy drop-in visits, I treat every animal like my own with reliable updates and personalized attention. I work later afternoons at 3:30 so I’m available for morning and afternoon walks before 2pm! My schedule is very consistent so I’m available for recurring visits. I’ve gone to many homes to pet sit for multiple days at a time. I help keep the animals calm and feel comfortable even with separation anxieties.

About: I have grown up around animals and throughout that time have gained skills that help with sitting and with that it allows me to be a better sitter. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. I’m currently in school and not very busy with classes, so I’ll be readily available to fulfill any petting sitting needs that are needed. I will usually check in and/or walk in the morning or in the evening. My dog gets walked twice a day at minimum because he tends to want to get that much energy out. This usually happens at night and I would be able to walk any dogs at the same level which I do mine.

About: Hi everyone! My name is Sophia and I’m a junior at UNC Chapel Hill studying nursing. I have been taking care of animals since I was 10 and currently have an aussiedoodle named Lexie! I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and small mammals. I am passionate about caring for annimals and volunteer at a rabbit rescue in Chapel Hill during the school year! About: I have been watching people’s furry family members for 10 years, giving them the love and care they need while their humans are away. I have experience with special needs pets, elderly pets, and other pets (chinchillas, bearded dragons, chickens, fish). I am comfortable administering medicines and other treatments, as well as cleaning up after/bathing animals when needed. I am currently working full-time at a cafe/brunch restaurant. My typical shifts are 9-4 Wednesday-Thursday. If needed I have no issue with visiting your pets on my lunch break, given that they are a feasible distance from my job. I am available to watch your pets/home for any length of time. I am aware of how stressful it can be for your pet to not only be without their family, but to have a stranger come into their home. I make a point to gain your pets trust using experience and respect. I adapt to the needs of your pet, making sure their are cared for to the fullest, while also staying within their boundaries.

About: Owners and animals will love my service because I'm very hands on and love to engage with the animals. I have two dogs and two cats of my own who are extremely well behaved with other animals. I've worked with dogs In particular in the past and found a passion with it. It doesn't matter if it's big dogs or small, I love to meet and interact with new animals. I have worked with aggressive breeds in the past so I know how to engage and interact with different breeds and needs. I know not all dogs are the same and each dog requires different techniques for that dog to feel safe and comfortable with a stranger. I feel confident with my ability to walk or sit most dogs. I have open availability for anyone's needs! All I ask is you reach out ahead of time just incase I have anything else booked. I follow the guidelines set by the owners. Each pet is individual and requires certain attention. My job isnt to change the comfortability or routines you have set for your animals. If I encounter any concerns or have any suggestions I will always bring them to the owner before I change any daily routine.
