About: I have looked after pets of many family members and friends for most of my life, including older pets that require medications and certain accommodations. I consider myself very patient and attentive to pets' needs. I work freelance with flexible hours, so my availability is pretty much wide open. I do not currently have pets of my own, so I am able to focus solely on my client's pet(s). I am happy to bring the attention and comfort to your pets that they need. That includes walking dogs frequently, playing often, maintaining diet and clean drinking water, picking up poos, and cleaning up messes! I am also happy to accommodate on overnight stays pets who may want to sleep in the bed or require night/early morning care.

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up around animals and truly believe they are family, not just pets. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I’ve cared for pets with all kinds of personalities and at different stages of life, including my senior dog Jacob (11). Having an older dog has taught me to be patient, notice the little things, and make sure pets are comfortable and cared for as they get older. I’ve also worked with my dog Atlas, who has had some behavioral challenges. Helping him over the years has taught me that every animal is different and that trust, consistency, and patience go a long way. I enjoy taking the time to understand each pet and what helps them feel safe and happy. Since I have a multi-pet household with dogs, cats, and birds, I’m comfortable with different routines and different types of care. I know every pet has their own personality, habits, and needs. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that I truly care about the animals I look after. I don’t just show up to feed them—I want to build a connection with them, make them feel comfortable, and give them the same care and love I would want someone to give my own pets. Pet care is a part of my everyday routine. Every day, I feed my three dogs, two cats, and two parakeets, make sure they always have fresh water, and spend time playing with and caring for them. My dogs get regular walks and outdoor time, and I love taking them on hikes whenever I can. My cats get plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment, and I make sure their litter boxes stay clean. I also care for my parakeets by cleaning their cage, refreshing their food and water, and giving them time to interact and explore. Because caring for animals is already part of my daily life, adding your pet to my routine feels. I’ll make sure they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give my own pets. I care for every pet like they are my own because I truly believe pets are family. Every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I love taking the time to understand what makes each one feel safe and happy. My cats, Stinky and Kiwi, have completely different personalities, and that’s one of the things I love most about cats. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them entertained, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure they have a comfortable and happy environment. I also have experience caring for my parakeets, Suki and Dewy. I’m comfortable with feeding them, cleaning their cage, changing their water, and making sure they get attention and enrichment. While I haven’t owned larger birds, I’m always willing to learn and make sure I understand each pet’s needs. When caring for your pets in your home, I’ll respect their routine and follow your instructions closely. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, and to give them the same care and attention I give my own pets because I know how much they mean to your family.

About: Hi everyone! My name is Sophia and I’m a junior at UNC Chapel Hill studying nursing. I have been taking care of animals since I was 10 and currently have an aussiedoodle named Lexie! About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats over the years, I can give them medication when needed, as well as brushing and helping with hygiene! I can do long and fun walks, and get their zoomies out with pet toys! I’m working full time, but I have my open days being Sunday, Monday,Tuesday! I can work in the mornings of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Until I head to work at 4-5pm I have a fenced in yard, as I have one dog who is friendly and a cat who’s a bit of a diva. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a teenager- my family has always fostered puppies ranging in age and care level needed. I have experience with bottle feeding puppies from just a few days old until they're ready to be adopted. I also have cared for dogs with health concerns that impact ability level. My roommate is a vet tech at our local shelter, and I'm in nursing school, so anything that could possibly go wrong will be handled promptly and safely! I have experience with meal prepping for clients, drop in visits throughout the day, and overnight stays (all doggies are always allowed in my bed if that's what they prefer!) I'm in nursing school so a lot of my time is spent studying at home! On class days, I will usually be gone 9-4, oftentimes getting home earlier. Those days for the fall are Wednesday and Thursday. Alternating Saturdays are unavailable as I will have an all day clinical shift- my calendar has been updated to reflect the blocked off dates, but feel to ask for clarification on any days! The other days of the week I will be home most of the time. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with plenty of grass and walking trails nearby. I'm on the ground floor and it's an outdoor style setup, so there's no worrying about elevators or long hallways when needing to go outside. I'm very flexible in my plan of care- I strive to keep routines as normal as possible, whether that means your fur baby sleeps in the bed or in their crate for comfort, I'm happy to oblige!

About: Ive taken care of neighbors dogs and cats for years, I love animals and couldnt imagine myself living without any by my side!
