“We feel incredibly lucky to have found Ashley & PJ. From the very beginning, they were thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely caring toward Cooper. During uncertain winter road conditions, they were proactive, reassuring, and put safety first without hesitation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone kind, dependable, and wonderful with dogs.”

Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”

“Gwen went above and beyond for our two Sphynx cats! She wiped their eyes and behinds, which is normally difficult as a two man job- so I’m very impressed! Our more apprehensive cat warmed up to her immediately and she provided much needed cuddles for him. She even emptied our LitterRobot correctly, which can be a little complicated. I appreciate all of the care, updates and time that she provided for us.”

“Ana took wonderful care of Juniper and Finn while I was away. She shared photos of each visit so that I could see how well they were doing and she even brought a few packages in from the porch for me. Ana offered to do additional coverage when my flight home was unexpectedly cancelled and I appreciated her flexibility. I highly recommend Ana.”

“Chiara was FANTASTIC! She was able to help me in such a pinch and truly treated my puppy like a little prince. She always updated me on what they did during her drop in, when he ate, and when he went potty. She would send multiple photos each time and was just such a help during a stressful period. I felt SO much better knowing my pup had a buddy to see him during the days. I couldn’t thank her enough and highly recommend 🥰”

“Our 2 cats were very happy and calm after their stay! We got great updates and photos during their stay. We were very pleased and will book again next month for our vacation!”
“Lyn was a wonderful fit for our family. Our Alvin bonded with her quickly. He looked relaxed and happy in the many images and updates she sent us. One of her best qualities is her quick response time and gift for communication. Our home was clean and taken care of as we would. We would certainly want Lyn again.”

“Autumn did a wonderful job over the long weekend- she spent lots of time playing with our cats and took good care to keep us updated with texts and photos. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for cats for family members and neighbors, so I’m familiar with different temperaments and needs. I’m attentive, reliable, and make it a priority to keep pets active, comfortable, and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them plenty of affection, playtime, and individualized care.

About: As a registered nurse and proud cat owner to two cats of my own, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Caring for animals requires patience, attentiveness, and compassion—qualities I use every day in both nursing and pet care. I’m experienced with feeding routines, litter box maintenance, playtime, brushing, administering medications when needed, and recognizing when something seems off. I understand that every cat has a different personality, whether they’re outgoing, shy, or somewhere in between, and I’ll always care for them at their own pace. My goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands.

“Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”

About: I recently just lost my cat of 19.5 years, Paris (in photo). She filled my heart with so much joy and is the reason I fell in love with cats. We also have 3 other cats 12,10 and 4 who are all rescues we have loved on since they first came into our lives. I have experience with administering medication, including interventions fluids. I have also followed very specialized diets for my cats and a lot of experience cleaning litter boxes.

I highly highly recommended her and I am so confident that she would take care of any dog like her own as she loves doing it.”

Currently semi-retired, living a simple healthy active lifestyle with some time and flexibility to provide the same for your four-legged family member while your away. I have a ranch-style home that doesn't have a lot of yard but is in a community with lots of walking, numerous pocket parks, other outdoor amenities and is close to the American Tobacco Trail.
About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 10 years, and caring for my own senior pup has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage of life. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with routines, gentle handling, medication reminders, and giving pets the extra attention they may need to feel safe and comfortable. I am also continuously improving my skills as a sitter—I take my dog to training classes and apply those lessons to the pets I care for. This has helped me learn about positive reinforcement, building trust, and managing different personalities and energy levels. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I provide calm, reliable, and loving care. My goal is to make every pet feel at home and every owner feel confident while they’re away. My schedule is very flexible on weekdays, which allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walks, and prompt communication. About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I am currently raising an energetic, lab puppy that keeps me on my toes - with daily walks, playtime, and plenty of training. Through her, I’ve gained firstshand experience with the patience, consistency, and energy that dogs need to thrive. Before welcoming my lab, I cared for my previous large-breed dog through every stage of her life, from adulthood into her senior years. She lived to be 14 years old, giving me experience with the slower pace, extra attention, and gentle care that older dogs often need. Whether your dog loves long adventures, a leisurely neighborhood walk, or simply some extra companionship during the day, I'm happy to tailor each visit to their individual needs. Safety, communication, and reliability are my top priorities. I'll always treat your home and your pet with respect, follow your care instructions closely, and send plenty of photos and updates so you know your dog is happy and well cared for while you're away. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities and understand that every dog is different. My goal is to make each walk or visit a positive, stress-free experience—for both you and your pup. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! I am currently home during the day and available 24/7 to help care for your pup! I am happy to go on long walks outside or play with toys inside. I currently live in a condo with my 4 month old lab puppy, so I am experienced navigating potty breaks in apartment settings and finding the best trails outside!

About: I have two doggies of my own. Both of them are senior dogs with young hearts, and they are still very active. My experience comes from being a dog owner. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. During the week, I work from home, which makes caring for my dogs easier. I’m able to walk them, feed them, and play with them during my breaks. My weekends are free, which gives me extra flexibility for longer walks, additional playtime, grooming, and any extra care they may need. It also allows me to spend more quality time with them and make sure they stay active, happy, and comfortable. I have two senior dogs who love going for walks and visiting the dog park. Both of them also enjoy going on car rides. They are definitely very spoiled.
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for 10 plus years. I am currently in law school in DC and am interning downtown and looking to make some extra money! I can handle both low and high energy pets. As someone who is very active, my neighbors have relied on me to take their dogs outside to play or for walks. I am a rising 2L in law school here in DC and am interning downtown. I can make myself available to whatever schedule/routine is preferred/needed! I will accomodate to your home and your requests as provided! I will ensure that the necessary diet and safety measures are taken for your pets!

About: I've been around animals my entire life, dogs, cats, horses, cows, and chickens, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. Growing up, I was the go-to person in my neighborhood whenever someone needed their animals looked after while they were away, handling everything from daily feeding and walks to full care for extended trips. So I have been around animals and taking care of them my whole life. I am a pre-med student at Notre Dame and work over the summer as an EMT. Because of this, I am trained to stay calm and respond quickly. I have also worked for three years as a volunteer in a veterinary clinic. That background means I notice when something's off with an animal and know how to handle it. I offer boarding, dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and doggy day care. Whether it's a quick check-in or a multi-week stay, I will be sure to give your pet the care and supervision it needs. I am available around the clock. I take summer classes fully online, which means I work from home and can give your pet consistent attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. Dogs get walks, check-ins, and company on a flexible schedule built around what works for them. My home is a farm-style property with a large yard and a fenced-in space. Inside pets are part of the house, unless specified otherwise. I keep a close eye on feeding schedules and any medications necessary.

About: Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets for years, and I genuinely treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone who is dependable, patient, and attentive, and that’s exactly the kind of care I strive to provide. As a nurse, I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, giving medications when needed, recognizing changes in behavior, and staying calm. I pay close attention to the little things because I know every pet has their own personality and routine. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, or simply having someone keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also send plenty of updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in great hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! Schedule & Availability I’m currently available throughout the day on weekdays, making me a great option for morning, afternoon, or evening visits. Whether your cat needs a quick drop-in, feeding, playtime, medication, or extra companionship while you’re at work or traveling, I’m happy to accommodate your schedule whenever possible. When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, litter box care, playtime, and any other preferences you have. I understand that every cat is different, and I’ll respect their personality…whether they enjoy lots of attention or prefer their own space.
“Ari is great at communicating and went above and beyond walking and taking care of my poodles. She provides pictures and shows compassion to my pets as if they were hers. I’m definitely rebooking in the future 👍🏿”

About: I have grown up around animals and throughout that time have gained skills that help with sitting and with that it allows me to be a better sitter. I have been around all ages of cats and dogs my whole life and have been sitting regularly since I was thirteen. I’m currently in school and not very busy with classes, so I’ll be readily available to fulfill any petting sitting needs that are needed. I will usually check in and/or walk in the morning or in the evening. My dog gets walked twice a day at minimum because he tends to want to get that much energy out. This usually happens at night and I would be able to walk any dogs at the same level which I do mine.

“Rylie was a great communicator and was very attentive to my fur baby! She was very understanding of my dogs shy/nervous tendencies and didn’t let it stand in the way of a good afternoon walk! I was very happy with her!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember! I’ve cared for pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. There’s truly no animal I don’t love. My schedule is really flexible throughout the week, and I’m more than happy to work around other people’s availability as best as I can. I truly enjoy making things as convenient as possible so that we can connect without any stress! Upon first meeting I try to the understand the pets emotionally and what their needs may be. Having four animals myself I have learned how each animal can have varying needs and expectations, and how to best work with the pet. Ultimately, I love animals more than anything and would love to be able to help whenever or wherever needed!
