About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child and have experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Growing up around animals taught me how to provide attentive care, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. About: Over the years in Carrboro/Chapel Hill, I have taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats (young and old). My schedule is quite open currently and I would love to spend time with animals of all kind! I'm currently teaching part time (T/Th 930-12pm). Otherwise, my schedule is quite open for dog walks, dog/cat visits, and other fun stuff! I will always be very diligent with any pet care issues. About: I’ve have 9 total pet rats, first starting when I was ~6 years old. I also have had 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 hamster, 1 hedgehog, and 3 hermit crabs. I am a 20 year old San Francisco State student majoring in Broadcasting here in Chapel Hill for the summer. I am pretty much available anytime during from June-September for pet sitting. About: I come from a family of dog lovers and have always grown up around dogs. When I was little, I would always try and teach my dogs tricks and even put on talent shows to show off my pups skills to family. When we got a new puppy when I was 9, my parents signed us up for a 2-week summer training course where I learned how to be a better dog owner and my dog (Tucker) learned how to be a better behaved puppy. I started dogsitting and dog walking at age 12 and loved getting to meet new families and play with their dogs. I am great at working with kids and have greatly strengthened my communication skills through my work as a Kids Academy Instructor at LifeTime fitness. Not only do I love working with pets, I love working with new people and becoming more involved in my community as I hold philanthropy as one of my core values. To top it off, I love going on walks outside and am always looking for an excuse to venture somewhere new! I am currently a Freshman at UNC so most of my availability is in the afternoons. I am currently available for dog walking and dog-sitting services from 2:30-6 PM on Mondays-Fridays. On the weekends, my services are available from 9 AM - 5 PM. While I am mostly available in the afternoons, if there is a need for me to come in early in the morning, that could be a possibility, just reach out! so first I had booked the wrong dates and had ro change them the day before I was going out of town. Adam was super understanding and was still able to modify the booking. lucy loved him. he took her on long walks and hung out with her, made sure her food and water were filled and made sure the tv stayed on for sound. Claire was super amazing to be able to walk my dog last minute after I had to rush out of the house this morning to drop off at school and drive to work without being able to take care of my dog. She came promptly and took care of my dog, made sure she pooped, and sent a lot of cute photos. I would totally hire her again.
Kelly was great! I have a small breed terrier mix puppy with separation anxiety and that is still learning some leash training. I cannot walk as fast as Maddie needs and so it was great to have someone that can walk faster or run with her. The hand off went great as well. Maddie was comfortable going with Kelly and happy when she returned. I’m so thankful that she was able to get the walk in that I can’t give her Due to my disabilities. I would definitely use her again.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
