I am a PhD student at UNC-CH, and I have been caring for dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets in between for as long as I can remember! I love working with animals, and I cherish the opportunity to get to know each pet’s unique personality. I have a very sweet, very high-energy rescue hound of my own at home, so I am particularly attuned to the needs of rescue animals and high-energy breeds. I know how difficult it can be to trust someone else to care for your pet exactly as you would, so I strive to treat every animal as though they were my own.

Schedule
I am a full-time graduate student, so my schedule is very busy, but also more flexible than a traditional 9-5! I’m happy to work together to build a schedule that works best for your needs (and those of your pet!).

I prioritize the safety and security of animals above all else, and I think the best way to go about this is being thoughtful during visits and attentive to owner instructions. You know your pet best, and I promise to adhere to caring for them just as you would if you were there!

A typical day
For high-energy breeds, I am always up for a long walk, game of fetch, or tug-of-war (my dog’s favorite!), but I am also happy to provide cuddles for pets who prefer a calmer environment.
