About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who would so excited to meet your furry family members! I have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was ten years old and caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I am also a proud dog and cat mom, so I know firsthand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for them while you are away. During my undergraduate years at Tulane University, I volunteered at an animal shelter in New Orleans, where I helped walk and care for shelter dogs. I also had the opportunity to work with service animals through my university, which gave me additional experience understanding the importance of patience, consistency, responsibility, and following each animal’s individual needs and routines. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am currently working part-time and attending classes on Tuesday and Thursday, but I am available for nighttime check ins on those days. About: I've been caring for animals since I was 10 years old, and over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me with the special care of their beloved pets. For over a year, I worked in a lab-like setting providing daily care to a wide variety of exotic animals, including reptiles, amphibians, small mammals and birds. I have also been pet sitting over 25 years ,friends and family have entrusted their precious pets in my care because they trusted my abilities and knew that I would treat their pets as I would my own. Spending my days with animals is the ultimate job. Kinda hard to even call it a “job.” Who can resist waggs and purrs, wet kisses and lap naps? Certainly not me.
