“Naotake and his wife, Hitoko, did a fabulous job watching Penny Friday afternoon-Monday morning while I was out of town. I couldn't be happier with the care they provided and never once questioned their competency or intentions. From finding them on Rover to meeting in person and concluding the sit, they had perfect communication. They answered all of my questions (and vice versa), eased my anxieties, and provided a plethora of information about their experiences caring for pets. I met them in person prior to the sit and they were very warm and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed/appreciated getting to know them and building a relationship prior to the sit. They were very sweet, accommodating, and passionate about the work they do. During the sit, the responded promptly to my messages and sent tons of videos/photos of Penny. They also sent multiple daily (morning & night) updates about how she was doing, what they had planned for the day, and any questions they had. Naotake and Hitoko went above and beyond, taking Penny on long walks, to the dog park, and in the car for fun rides around town. Considering that Penny has occasional health issues, can be reactive around other dogs, and is currently being crate trained, I was nervous about being apart and worried she would be burdensome for sitters. Naotake and Hitoko never made me feel this way, going out of their way to make me and Penny feel comfortable, supported, and loved. Penny did great with them, got tons of exercise and stimulation, and even had positive experiences with others dogs at the park (which is rare). I'm so appreciate of them for making my trip stress free and treating Penny like their own. If you're looking for kind, authentic, and transparent sitters, Naotake and Hitoko are for you. They accommodated all of my requests, from making Penny kongs, wiping her paws after walks, and following crating/walking routines to ease her anxiety. I will absolutely be booking again. About: I've been caring for cats since I was 10 years old. My pet sitting journey actually began with my neighbor's cat, who took an instant liking to me and became my very first client. About: I have been pet sitting since 13 years old and I have been volunteering about three times a week at Orange County Animal Services where I walk and provide enrichment for cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals- dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, lizards, guinea pigs, and even rats. About: I have had all different breeds of dogs in my life and am very familiar with all of the different personalities of dogs! My family members and friends have relied on me to watch over their fur family members. My schedule is very flexible and I have a ton of availability. When you book with me, my priority is your pet and their needs. I have a very friendly dog that can tag along for walks if your dog may need social time or a buddy! You can trust that I will care for your pet as if it were my own! :)
About: I have been pet sitting since 13 years old and I have been volunteering about three times a week at Orange County Animal Services where I walk and provide enrichment for cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals- dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, lizards, guinea pigs, and even rats. I have experience with all ages, behavior, and energy levels, as well as taking care of multiple animals at one time. I work at Green Beagle Lodge, a daycare and boarding facility where I oversee playgroups and do stuff like cleaning ears and eyes, balming paws, brushing, etc. I work three 12 hours shifts and week, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, as well as Thursday evenings from 4pm to 7pm. I am available Thursdays before 3pm and all day Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. I am available for drop in visits, such as a couple time a day to simply feed and walk your dog or cat (or other animal). I can also do more involved pet care, such as staying overnight and hanging out with your fur baby all day!
