My home features a large, fully fenced backyard and a screened-in porch perfect for lounging and watching neighborhood activity (and local wildlife!). I prioritize safety by crating or gating dogs when I’m away briefly, and I’m rarely gone for more than a couple of hours. While I’m home, pets enjoy free roam and can settle in wherever they’re most comfortable—including bedtime. My own dogs are very relaxed but social and engaged. About: We have had dogs in our family for years. I have all the basic experience of taking care of a crate trained dog. We also had a high energy Australian shepherd that had to go boot camp a few times…that being said I understand their training is very important to keep up so I am open and receptive to all their training and dietary needs. I am available through August most days. I am a school teacher so once the school year starts up I will be available for afternoon drop ins or boarding etc. With all the instructions you provide me for them and exceptional love and care. Furry friends deserve to feel comfortable too. I will take any crates, beds, toys etc. that they need and try to keep them on their routine as close as possible.

“Marilyn is absolutely amazing! We had contacted her hoping she might be able to accommodate our dogs for a last minute trip, and she quickly set up the meet and greet and boarding! Our "puppies" tend to be pretty high energy, and they seemed to fit right in with the family. This was the first trip I've been on where I forgot to worry about the dogs and just enjoy our trip, which never happens. The communication, updates, and photos were consistent and frequent, and I felt like they were in amazing hands the entire time. Both Maci and Oakley came back so happy (and so tired).
