About: I grew up with dogs, but in high school I made a good relationship with my aunt’s cat and started learning the differences in care that cats need. In college I started looking after my friends’ cats when they needed it, and it wasn’t until I graduated that I was able to get a kitten of my own. About: I’ve been dog-sitting for the past four years, and I grew up with multiple Australian Shepherds in my house. I am a big runner and love taking dogs hiking and running with me too. This past summer I worked as a vet tech at an animal hospital back home in Nashville and raised a new puppy of my own. I have dog sat for new puppies and older dogs with multiple medications/ointments and everything in between! I am currently a student at UNC Chapel Hill so I am in class for about 4 hours/day, but other than that my schedule is very flexible. I cannot care for pets in my home currently, but in clients’ homes I make sure to spend time with the animals and usually play with them in the yard (if possible) and take them on walks around the neighborhood or drive them to the park to go for a hike.

About: Growing up with parents that loved to pick up strays my love for animals came naturally. I grew up taking care of dogs and cats from all different shapes and sizes. I could tell very early on that she looked happy and relaxed with them after being there for only about a day. They made a clear effort to get to know Harper and make her as comfortable as possible and sent me so many photos and video to keep me updated on how she was doing. “Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”
