About: Being extremely attached to my own dog and cats, I understand how hard it is to be away from them! You can rest easy, I will care for your animals as if they were my own. Big and small, cat and dog, I love them all! Please note: I only accept dogs in my home for boarding that have been around cats and are known to be cat-friendly. I work a flexible schedule, and come check on your pets morning, evening and possibly also mid-day. Let me know what you need and I will make it work. I can either come to your house to let your pet stay in his/her own environment or if they come to my house to stay, they will join my menagerie for their visit. I have kitties, so they must be cat-friendly. At my house, the day starts with a potty break in my fenced yard, followed by a 20-minute walk either in the morning or at lunch time. There is a second walk of a at least 20-minutes after work around 7 and potty breaks, pets and treats on my work breaks. There are pet beds all over the house, kitties to play with and my dog Sadie (a mix, around 50lbs). My pets range at night but guest pets have to be crated at bedtime. I can put the crate in my bedroom if it will make your pet more comfortable.

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up around animals and truly believe they are family, not just pets. I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I’ve cared for pets with all kinds of personalities and at different stages of life, including my senior dog Jacob (11). Having an older dog has taught me to be patient, notice the little things, and make sure pets are comfortable and cared for as they get older. I’ve also worked with my dog Atlas, who has had some behavioral challenges. Helping him over the years has taught me that every animal is different and that trust, consistency, and patience go a long way. I enjoy taking the time to understand each pet and what helps them feel safe and happy. Since I have a multi-pet household with dogs, cats, and birds, I’m comfortable with different routines and different types of care. I know every pet has their own personality, habits, and needs. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that I truly care about the animals I look after. I don’t just show up to feed them—I want to build a connection with them, make them feel comfortable, and give them the same care and love I would want someone to give my own pets. Pet care is a part of my everyday routine. Every day, I feed my three dogs, two cats, and two parakeets, make sure they always have fresh water, and spend time playing with and caring for them. My dogs get regular walks and outdoor time, and I love taking them on hikes whenever I can. My cats get plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment, and I make sure their litter boxes stay clean. I also care for my parakeets by cleaning their cage, refreshing their food and water, and giving them time to interact and explore. Because caring for animals is already part of my daily life, adding your pet to my routine feels. I’ll make sure they receive the same love, attention, and care that I give my own pets. I care for every pet like they are my own because I truly believe pets are family. Every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I love taking the time to understand what makes each one feel safe and happy. At home, I care for my three dogs, Jacob (11), Luna (7), and Atlas (8), my two cats, Stinky (5) and Kiwi (6), and my two parakeets, Suki and Dewy. My dogs get lots of attention, exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures like walks and hikes. Luna has had some behavioral challenges, which has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal learns and grows at their own pace. Seeing how much she has improved over the years has shown me how important love and patience are when caring for pets. My cats, Stinky and Kiwi, have completely different personalities, and that’s one of the things I love most about cats. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them entertained, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure they have a comfortable and happy environment. I also have experience caring for my parakeets, Suki and Dewy. I’m comfortable with feeding them, cleaning their cage, changing their water, and making sure they get attention and enrichment. While I haven’t owned larger birds, I’m always willing to learn and make sure I understand each pet’s needs. When caring for your pets in your home, I’ll respect their routine and follow your instructions closely. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, and to give them the same care and attention I give my own pets because I know how much they mean to your family.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 17 and have cared for 20+ dogs for family and family friends. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, administering oral medications, overnight stays, long-term house sitting, and taking dogs to appointments when needed. I also spend a lot of time at home during house sits because I know most dogs are happiest when they have company. I treat every dog like they’re my own and always do my best to keep them happy, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routine while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine! I work mornings and usually get off around 1 PM, so I’m available most afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I also offer overnight stays and make it a priority to spend plenty of time at home, so your pets get lots of attention and companionship while you’re away. I know every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to stick to it so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, or bedtime routines.

About: I have been around animals my entire life, especially dogs and cats, and I have experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities. In addition to growing up around pets, I have pet sat for friends and family on numerous occasions, including caring for a bunny. I have hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, and providing daily care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. Whether this is your first time using Rover or you’ve used pet sitters before, you can trust that your pet will be treated like family and receive the best care possible. I currently work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule. I do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible and will communicate clearly about my availability. My goal is to make the pet-sitting experience as stress-free and positive as possible for both you and your pet. Please tell me as much as possible about your pet ahead of time. I want to provide the best care possible, so it is helpful to know about their routine, personality, favorite activities, medications, dietary restrictions, health concerns, behavioral quirks, and any specific instructions or “no-no’s.” The more I know, the better I can keep their routine consistent and ensure they feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I bring a professional background in veterinary medicine and animal care, with years of hands-on experience as a Cat Friendly Veterinary Assistant and AALAS-certified technician. I specialize in low-stress handling, cooperative care, and positive reinforcement, skills that help pets feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re energetic puppies, anxious rescues, or senior companions needing extra patience. My work has included everything from administering treatments and preventive care to guiding families through microchip registry updates and wellness plans. I’ve also cared for thousands of animals in research and clinical settings, always prioritizing safety, compassion, and the animal–human bond. What sets me apart is my ability to combine technical expertise with a calm, empathetic approach, ensuring pets not only receive excellent care but also enjoy the experience. Pet care is part of my daily rhythm, with open and committed availability for visits and stays. I’m experienced in feline routines with my 2 boys, Ghia and Kaiju, and I also specialize in routine nail care, including Dremel trims for dogs. My flexible schedule ensures consistent, low-stress support tailored to each pet’s needs. Whether in my home or a client’s, I prioritize calm, low-stress environments that help pets feel secure. As a Cat Friendly Veterinary Assistant and FVMA-certified Cat Friendly Professional, I use species-specific techniques, like pheromones, quiet spaces, and gentle handling, to reduce anxiety and build trust. I’m attentive to routines, litter box hygiene, and subtle behavior changes that signal when a cat needs extra care. For dogs, I’m experienced with cooperative care and routine nail maintenance, including Dremel trims, and can safely crate if requested. In every setting, I combine professional training with compassion, ensuring pets are cared for with consistency, safety, and respect while their families are away. Prevention over reaction is the mantra... especially relevant when exploring outside with my felines in a way that both validates their individual agency and priroritzes proactive environmental management.

Dylan was so kind and patient with my Petra! She can be shy at first but Dylan brought her right out of her shell! I’m recovering from an ankle surgery so I can’t take her on the walks she used to love but after she came back from her walk with Dylan Pet Pet was more relaxed than she had been in over a week! She was finally able to get all that stored energy out! Dylan brought a portable water bottle and bowl to keep her hydrated during this intense heat too! I highly recommend him as a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
