I started pet-sitting with Rover to be able to spend quality time with people’s pets! I love being outside and would be so happy to take your doggo on relaxed, “sniff forward” walks or fun little hiking adventures — whatever fits their vibe! Whether they’re energetic and playful or more laid-back and cuddly, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Your furry friend would be treated with love, with lots of attention, belly rubs, and genuine care. Happy to send lots of photos and check ins when your pet is with me :)

When I’m in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and make it a priority to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I follow all instructions carefully — from feeding and medications to preferred walking routes and house rules. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can feel relaxed knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for.

Rachael is probably one of the best sitters you are going to find in Rover. She is just a very thoughtful and thorough person. She went above and beyond in the quality of the care she provided and also in communication. She sent updates and pictures throughout the night. She followed the care plan very well and was proactive about requesting clarification if needed. She was also very receptive to feedback. I loved getting pictures of my puppy. She did a great job building trust with me and with my 5 month old GSD girl. She was very patient and caring. Her calming attitude allowed my puppy to feel comfortable around her. From what I gathered, my puppy actually listened to her; she normally tests boundaries with new people. I was impressed. I’ve only used her once and would love to book her again if availability aligns. She was very engaged with my puppy and did an excellent job trying to figure her out. If it was up to me, I would have her take care of my puppy consistently. She’s the best.

My evenings and weekends are very flexible and I would absolutely love to spend some quality time with your pet! I work as a graduate student at Duke and when I am not in the research lab, I would love to be with your pet!
