About: I've grown up around animals for most of my life and have experience caring for both big dogs, small dogs, and cats. I grew up with 3 beagles, and have also helped neighbors, friends, and family care for their pets over the years. This has given me experience with pets of all ages, personalities, and needs. I'm experienced with walks (both fast paced and slow), potty breaks, playtime, crating if needed, and giving pets space when they need it. About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors animals which consist of lizards, cats, dogs, and they have a relied on me to feed them twice a day and take the dog for a walk for a weeks at time. I currently am a post-bacc college student so I have a lot of free time to pet sit and play with animals when I am needed. Since I am very experienced with taking care of pets, I am able to get your pet everything they need to feel comfortable while you are away.

I’m a dedicated dog mom of nearly 10 years with hands-on experience caring for friends’ and family’s pets. I’ve raised my own pup from 6 weeks old and am comfortable with dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to sweet seniors. My Boston/Jack Russell mix keeps me active, so we’re always walking, playing, and staying engaged. We both love meeting new furry friends and making them feel right at home! I have a hybrid work schedule, so I work from home multiple days per week (Tues, Thurs, Fri). I have the flexibility to drop by for visits/walks during work hours while you're away, as well as most weeknights. On weekdays I am available for either 2, 30 min drop in/walks or 1 hour long visit. You are welcome to drop your doggo off at my place during those times as well. Ideally, I'm looking for a few repeat clients so I can really get to know your fur child. I have a nice apartment in a quiet, residential neighborhood with a large, enclosed backyard. My dog Felix loves playing with new friends. We play ball, take walks, and have plenty of indoor toys for when it's too hot out.

About: I have experience owning dogs since I was a child. I also have many years experience of small animal, cat, and reptile ownership. I have worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility as well as our local Humane Society. I work a normal job 9 to 6 Monday through Friday. With traveling being common over the weekends, I am available anytime as my weekends are completely free. I will take care of clients pets in their home using the guidelines they set. I would prefer no pets in my home unless I’ve gotten to know the animal, as I have a dog and a cat of my own.

About: Had my own pets growing up. Used to small and big dogs! I also am fine with cats! I am not allergic to any animal. As of now, I am unable to own a dog due to my brother being allergic but I do love my cat Pumpkin. I work Monday to Friday (8 - 5) and I am off on the weekends. I do not work from home. Other than working, I am usually free. I am big on communication and always flexible. Last minute bookings or same days are okay! When I did own dogs, I would take them for walk and made sure they get their playtime. I have owned a beagle and a pitbull. An odd mix I am sure but I loved both equally. I did own both when they were a puppy. I am unable to own a dog due to my brother being allergic. I currently own a cat who I love very much. He isn't high maintenance just like most cats but he is always vocal when he wants attention.

About: I've been working with animals since I was 18, when I began volunteering with my local humane society, where I assisted with feeding, cleaning, socializing, and handling animals. I went on to work as a veterinary assistant at an animal clinic/hospital, where I learned more about handling animals and administering medications for cats and dogs. I no longer work at a veterinary office because I'm currently in an online bachelor's degree program that makes a traditional full-time job difficult to manage. But my schooling is incredibly flexible and I love working with animals, so part-time pet care is perfect for me! I have done pet-sitting for cats and dogs in the past, but I am also comfortable working with fish (I had a beloved betta fish in high school). I am definitely open to caring for other animals, but I would need additional instruction to compensate for my inexperience. I have particular experience with special needs animals because my own cat, Birdie, has hind limb paresis. She scoots around instead of walking, wears diapers, and has daily oral medication. "Special needs" encompasses a wide range of conditions, so I won't pretend to know how to care for all disabled animals but my personal experience provides me with the patience and flexibility to learn about the particular needs of your pet. I'm currently in a flexible online degree program that allows me to shape my schedule around my clients. Pet care through rover offers me supplemental income and ensures that I get out of the house regularly! I understand that every animal is different, so I don't have a universal approach to pet-sitting. I believe enrichment is essential to an animal's wellbeing and I incorporate that into my pet care. I make sure to take time to play with pets as well as feed, walk, or clean after them.
