About: I grew up with cats and dogs and am comfortable and eager to help you care for yours! Due to family allergies, I can no longer care for furry friends in my own home… so I’ve decided to help you care for yours! I have experienced the whole life cycle with various pets over the years. From puppies to seniors, I know how to approach pet care and even medication management. I work full time Tuesday - Friday but am still available on those days for short drop-ins or walks after 5 pm if you live in the Panther Creek or Preston areas. I am available all day Saturday - Monday for longer drop-in visits or hikes/walks! I have plenty of energy and can help your pets let out theirs with brisk walks or leisurely strolls - depending on their preference! I love a game of fetch or laser tag, string toys and catnip are also favorites. But don’t worry, I am also happy to lounge on the floor or sit in the shade if your pet prefers that! Your furbaby(ies) will always be the only pet(s) I am with during a booked visit - so my attention is completely on them. I will ensure your pet is left with a clean box/new pads, fresh water, and a treat. Leashes are a must if your pet is going outdoors (unless you have a securely locked gate). On walks I keep a large safety bubble to avoid getting too close to other pets or people - in my experience this has proved helpful in avoiding potentially dangerous situations. You’ll receive plenty of photos and updates from me during your booked visit as well!

I understand that every dog has a different routine and personality, and I will follow your instructions carefully to help your pet feel safe and comfortable while staying with me. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide regular attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for boarding during the week and on weekends, and I plan my schedule around each dog’s normal routine. I accept only one dog at a time so I can provide individual care and supervision. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment and accept only one dog at a time. Since I work from home, I can provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and regular supervision throughout the day. I carefully follow each pet parent’s feeding, walking, crate, medication, and sleeping instructions, and I’m happy to send photos and updates during the stay.

Emily did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away for work! My younger cat is very outgoing/pushy, and my senior cat (Snickers) is more reserved but also gets really offended if she feels left out/ignored. Emily made sure both cats got their portion of wet food and gave them both attention. When I got back, the cats were happy and the house looked great.
Griffin was amazing with Cooper! She took great care of him and updated me all the time with how he was and what all she was doing with him, she always was there on time to take him out which made being away from him much less stressful knowing that he was being taken care of the same way I do! Highly recommend to anyone needing a sweet caregiver to their pup!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
