I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable when their routine is maintained. When caring for pets in their home, I take the time to understand their normal schedule, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications, favorite activities, and any special instructions from their family. During each visit, I provide attentive care, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of affection while making sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I’ll send detailed updates and photos so you can feel connected and confident while you’re away. I treat every home with respect and every pet with the same patience, care, and attention I would want for my own dog.

Please let me know if your dog has any behavior or needs I should be aware of - reactivity, anxiety, triggers, slow feeder bowls, water regulation, medical needs, training I should reinforce in and out of the house, things to avoid, etc. I’m happy to do a meet and greet ahead of time to get to know you and your pup!
A typical day
I love making sure pets have a fun, engaging experience while their families are away! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I enjoy going on long walks, exploring new paths or areas, playing with their favorite toys, practicing enrichment activities, giving plenty of attention and affection, and allowing time for exploration and sniffing. I love to play sniff games with my dog at home. I know that every pet is different—some love a long walk and playtime, while others prefer a calm visit with cuddles and companionship. I’ll tailor each visit to what makes your pet happiest while keeping them safe, comfortable, and engaged. I also love sending photo updates so you can see your pet enjoying their time with me!

I’ve been caring for dogs for many years as both a dedicated pet owner and a trusted caregiver for friends and family. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including my own 65-pound reactive dog, which has given me a deep understanding of canine body language, positive reinforcement training, and the importance of consistency, structure, and patience. Whether it’s a walk or drop-in visit my priority is always to ensure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while maintaining their normal routine. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs and provide plenty of affection, enrichment, exercise, and detailed photo updates so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I treat every pet with the same care and respect as if they were my own.
