I work remotely so I am happy to come hang out with your furry friends in mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings. I have a very flexible schedule and am also available on weekends. While I have limited availability for overnight visits in Summer 2026, I am able to provide other care in the pet’s home so that they’re in a comfy, familiar place with a new person! (Please inquire if you want me to clarify anything, and I am happy to discuss what is possible)! I often do quick drop in visits, and longer visits for socialization as well, and I can adjust my schedule to best meet your pet’s needs.

Before meeting your pet, I like to ask questions about their routine to try to keep them on schedule and more comfortable while they’re missing you! I am an animal nerd and I have studied dog and cat body language to make them feel more at ease — they have a lot to say even though they can’t talk to us with words! I am also an amateur pet photographer and I will send you pictures and/or videos of what they’re up to :)

I love hanging out with dogs of different personalities! I can lounge around a chill with calmer dogs, and for high-energy breeds and dogs, I have lots of ways to keep them engaged and entertained! We can go on different routes for walks, and I have been training dogs for years to keep them mentally stimulated!

I have over 6 years of experience training dogs, including both puppies and adults, in a variety of behaviors and tricks (eg. sit, lie down, quiet down, etc). Growing up, my family had both toy breeds and mastiffs, so I am comfortable with different sizes of dogs!

Joy took such good care of our dog while we were out of town! She sent lots of pics and kept us updated.
Joy was a complete professional. We have very skittish kitties and by the end of the week they were happy and loving on her. She was always on time and sent lots of pictures and detailed descriptions of the things that went on and the mischief that the kitties got up to. We will definitely book with Joy again!
Thanks so much Joy to take our last minutes request to take care of our two dogs. Joy is really great dog walker for our energetic golden and our old lady Betty. She is amazing!
