About: I provide attentive, personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs. I have experience with puppy training basics like crate and leash training, as well as caring for senior pets who may need medication or extra patience. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and keep owners updated, treating every pet like my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I make it a priority in my schedule. I plan my day around visits, walks, and check-ins to ensure each pet gets consistent attention and care. I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, and evenings, which allows me to accommodate feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special routines pets are used to. I provide a safe, structured environment with a fully fenced-in yard for secure outdoor time, play, and exercise. I’m very experienced with larger dogs and understand their need for both physical activity and clear boundaries. At home, I care for four large dogs of my own! Tilly (mixed breed), Bear (Standard Poodle), Sasha (German Shepherd), and Ronin (Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix), ranging in age from 5 to 12. Managing a group like this has given me strong skills in supervision, routine, and reading different personalities and energy levels. Because of this, I’m comfortable handling multiple dogs, maintaining a calm environment, and making sure each pet gets the attention and care they need to feel safe and happy.

About: Like many pet parents, I often rely on friends, coworkers, and family to help check in on our fur babies when my wife and I travel for work. While that support is invaluable, it doesn’t always line up—and when it doesn’t, it can add unnecessary stress to an already busy trip. Because of this, I truly understand how challenging and stressful it can be to leave your pets behind. That’s why I offer reliable pet care services for fellow pet parents who travel frequently or simply need an extra helping hand. My services include check-ins, walking, and house sitting. At home, we have five cats: one 16-year-old geriatric grump and four energetic “crazies” ranging from 3–5 years old. Each has a unique personality, but all share a love for food and plenty of belly and head rubs. I specialize in cat care, as cats are often misunderstood as being “easy.” While some are, others require more attention and emotional support—something I know firsthand. Cats, like people, can experience separation anxiety, stress, and even depression when their routines change. My own cat, Chuck Roast, is a perfect example and always needs extra care when I travel. This has taught me how important it is to understand and respect each cat’s individual needs and personality. While cat care is my specialty, I also have experience caring for dogs. I’m always happy to meet you and your pets beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit and that everyone feels comfortable before moving forward. About: While I’m new to Rover, I have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and have always loved being around animals. I’ve pet-sat for neighbors over the years, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure their pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. Emma did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away! My cat always looked happy to see her in the awesome pictures I received each day, and they seemed to get along very well. It was also very easy to communicate with Emma during my trip when I had a few things come up unexpectedly. It was so great to know that my house and my pet were in good hands. Bell is a 5-star Rover worker. My niece needed immediate admittance to the hospital last week. Care for her cat needed to be arranged within 24 hours. Bell stepped up and accepted the assignment immediately, working my niece’s cat into her schedule as best she could on the first day and at the same time of day for the remainder of the week. She demonstrated genuine care for Taz. She photographed the two of them together to demonstrate her time with the cat and her connection with him.

Paris recently watched our dog for 2 1/2 weeks. She took care of him twice a day and did a great job making sure he was fed and well taken care of. Not only is she kind and caring, but she’s also responsible and attentive. Our dog stays outdoors where he has his own dog house with air conditioning. While she was caring for him, she noticed that the AC shut off, immediately informed us and followed our instructions to the T to get it back up and running, which was crucial since the weather was very hot. Paris also helped to make sure our roses stayed alive while we were gone. Her presence made it possible for us to be away from home without worrying, and we will definitely use her again. She’s highly recommended!

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
