Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: I grew up with two bigger dogs (German Shepard and chow/golden mix) and always had responsibility with taking care of them. Although I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, I am always the first to watch my family and friends dogs such as Bernese mountain dog, doodles, Bassett Hound, and German Sheppards! In the last two years, I have been a recurring sitter for a doodle, chow, chocolate lab, and other breeds. All dogs were through friends, referrals, and people in our building so not many reviews on here but I am sure I can send their numbers if referrals are needed. I just moved to Durham but looking to help dog sit here and hope can find some new favorite dogs to sit:) I work hybrid, so I can schedule any meetings around bathroom/dog park breaks. I have experience taking dogs on multiple 2+ mile walks a day if needed. We have a couch cover, so happy for dogs to cuddle up on the couch! We have a fenced in back yard so can play together outside! Happy to have the dog sleep in the bedroom but prefer them off the bed if possible!

About: My name is Dylan and I have lived in the Raleigh/Durham area for an about three years now. I’ve lived my entire life around dogs and puppies and absolutely love them! I have a fur baby named Benny who will be 3 in July. He’s playful, loving, and so much fun! I am very familiar with the needs of a puppy or full size dog and love meeting new furry friends! He has a strict breakfast and dinner schedule that we follow daily as well.

I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!

About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. All pets, whether boarding or doggy daycare, will get optimal amounts of supervised outside time. I have a large, fenced in back yard that is the perfect place for playtime! If you would prefer a leashed walk for your pet, there is a long, country road with tons of sights and smells for your pet to enjoy that we can walk together! After playtime, plenty of water and cuddles will be provided. They will have plenty of time outside of their crates to hang out with me and explore! About: I’ve been having my dog since he was a baby, so I am really good with puppy’s with high and low energy. I love all animals I take care of, give them the same care and attention I do my baby. I do everything that you will ask me to do. When your baby’s in my care they are always safe. I work in children afterschool care at Lakewood ymca, since school is going to close for the summer that means I won’t have a job for the next three months. I will be free all days and weekends. I take care of a dog and a cat, I take my dog on daily walks twice/three times a day for his potty breaks. They both get fed 2 times a day and 2/47 playtime and love.

She is friendly will all dogs and cats.I rescued Freya when she was a wee little puppy so I remember how much patience a little puppy can take but they are so fun and so worth the time and energy. I am experience in various types of dog collars harnesses leashes and if I don’t know I’ll ask. I am retired from the medical field so I can give medicine and inject insulin. About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

“I hope I can board my dog there again and again. Julie was friendly, on top of everything, and my dog looked sooo happy in every one of the numerous photos Julie sent me. She gave me a daily update and answered everyone of my questions instantaneously. I had flight issues on my vacation return and she was so flexible and kind about it all. “I was so grateful for Mary to take care of our Holly somewhat last minute .when I arrived, I told Mary that Holly had just gotten into some coconut oil at home and I asked her if she was still OK taking care of Holly. She said yes without hesitation she took great care of Holly although Holly wasn’t feeling well the first couple hours of her stay. Mary was kind understanding and loving towards our dog who had recently had surgery on her eye as well. She kept me updated about Hollys status. I will definitely be using Mary in the future again for taking care of our dog.”
“Caroline was wonderful. She’s calm and seems very easy going. Our dogs are quite hyper but she dealt with them very gently. We appreciate her helping us, even when our one dog had last minute surgery so she had to administer meds. Definitely would recommend!”

“Dan was an incredible resource for a last-minute request to keep our old girl comfortable during a house party. As the guest list grew, we knew she’d be overwhelmed, so we reached out to Dan. Dan hosted her and from the pictures he sent, she made herself comfortable at his place. It was such a relief to not worry about a party guest leaving a door open; she was safe and relaxed with Dan. What also speaks to his level of care is that when Coco came back home, she had zero anxieties or stress. It was as though she was grateful for having an afternoon to herself.”
