I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: I grew up with two bigger dogs (German Shepard and chow/golden mix) and always had responsibility with taking care of them. Although I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, I am always the first to watch my family and friends dogs such as Bernese mountain dog, doodles, Bassett Hound, and German Sheppards! In the last two years, I have been a recurring sitter for a doodle, chow, chocolate lab, and other breeds. All dogs were through friends, referrals, and people in our building so not many reviews on here but I am sure I can send their numbers if referrals are needed. I just moved to Durham but looking to help dog sit here and hope can find some new favorite dogs to sit:) I work hybrid, so I can schedule any meetings around bathroom/dog park breaks. I have experience taking dogs on multiple 2+ mile walks a day if needed. We have a couch cover, so happy for dogs to cuddle up on the couch! You can expect an attentive, caring and fun foster environment when your pet stays with me. I am an active individual who works from home and doesnt mind stepping out of the house 3 to 4 times a day to exercise and play with your pets! I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. About: I’ve been having my dog since he was a baby, so I am really good with puppy’s with high and low energy. I love all animals I take care of, give them the same care and attention I do my baby. I do everything that you will ask me to do. When your baby’s in my care they are always safe. I work in children afterschool care at Lakewood ymca, since school is going to close for the summer that means I won’t have a job for the next three months. I will be free all days and weekends. I am lucky enough to have always had a dog of my own as well. Currently I have a one year old golden retriever, Sly! I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. About: I've taken care of dogs my entire life! In Chicago I was a dog walker for many years and have potty trained several dogs. I have also trained basic commands and walking skills! I am lucky enough to have always had a dog of my own as well. Currently I have a one year old golden retriever, Sly! I am currently working part time as a nanny and have extra time throughout the week to care for some dogs! Morning, lunch and evenings walks are all doable as my schedule is flexible. When it comes to your pet, I will follow your instructions and be sure to care for them as similarly to you as possible. I always make sure the pups have fresh water, treats and eat on time. If your pet needs to be alone for walks or eating, I am happy to provide that as well. I live across the street from a park and also love to take dogs on long walks around the city! We have a small dog pool and a fenced in backyard as well. During breaks from outdoor time, pups get lots of cuddles and have plenty of toys to play with.
