“Our cat loves hanging out with Kim and her cats, hiding in their cabinets, and feeling safe in their home. He's stayed with them a few times now and feels secure and at peace when with Kim and her kitties. We also love that he gets to socialize with other cats. Kim communicates really well and I am happy to have found a really nice person and vacation place for my cat to stay with. I highly recommend Kim for cat sitting services. She's great.”

“I can’t say enough about these two. They loved my kitties and took such meticulously thoughtful care that my older kitty, who was fighting a year-long sickness, was HEALED by the time I returned. He’s very slow to trust and often chooses isolation when I’m not home. He usually becomes even more stressed and is then in worse shape when I return. Scarlett and Dalton were patient, warm and let my nervous boys lead - I’ve never felt more relaxed and reassured while I was out of town.”

“Katrin was lovely. Super communicative and very understanding of the type of care my senior cat needed. Her updates were always really prompt, clear and included lots of photos. Would love to have her take care of my pet again and recommend y’all do the same!”

“Mrs. Julie made sure my kitties were taken care of while I was out the country for five days. She was patient with them through their attitudes towards their disruption to our routine. She has so many years of experience of expertise of working with all kinds of pets. I am very happy with the services she has provided me and my kiddos.”

“Sam went above and beyond during her visits to my cat Buddy! She was very great in handling him and was very communicative during the whole process. My cat loved her and I absolutely recommend her services for anyone with cats!”

“Cameron took wonderful care of our cats while we were away. He was kind, gentle, and incredibly thoughtful with them. He spent quality time playing with them and kept us updated every day with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our cats are naturally shy, but Cameron was patient and let them warm up at their own pace, it was amazing to see that they had opened up to him within just two days. Beyond being fantastic with pets, Cameron is also a genuinely pleasant person to talk to. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would happily book him again!”

“Blake was wonderful about sending photos of my cat. I think my cat will miss her more than she missed me! Lol. It was nice to enjoy my vacation knowing Annabelle was safe and well cared for.”

“Brian is incredibly responsive, which has always been very reassuring as a pet parent. We really appreciate him taking care of Chai and giving her the love and attention she needs.”

“Brittany did an amazing job taking care of our cat! We had Brittany stay two nights while we were out of town. She sent pictures and updates and was on time for her stays.”

“Annalise was fantastic when caring for our cat, Billie Jean! We appreciate how kind, communicative, and fast to respond she was, and she took great care of our fur baby. Will definitely be booking with Annalise again!”

“Kim was so great with our three cats! She provided really thorough updates and lots of photos as a part of her visits. Kim went above and beyond on communication and care for the cats!”

About: Living with and caring for cats has taught me that every cat is different—some are very social, while others prefer space—and I always respect their pace to help them feel safe and comfortable. I also have a cat of my own and have experience fostering and volunteering with animal rescues. I pay close attention to their behavior, keep litter areas clean, and follow feeding routines and medications if needed. My goal is to make your cat feel secure and comfortable while you’re away.
“Alex was great! He watched my two cats for a week over the holidays. He was very attentive catching small details most people wouldn’t, ensuring my cats were well taken care of. He went above and beyond by even checking in on my chickens each visit.”

“Alamo was absolutely amazing. I had to leave in short notice for a trip but regardless she was fully ready to go. She took care of my kitties like they were her own and sent me text/pictures consistently to let me know they were okay. My children absolutely loved her. 10/10 recommend.”

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.
“Boba had a great time with Bruna and her dog! She was so communicative, and extremely prompt! We were so grateful for the picture and text updates throughout the dog sitting, and we highly recommend Bruna to anyone who is looking for a personalized care!”

“Mocha had such a great experience today! Cathryn was kind and made sure mocha felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and the genuine love shown toward her. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would definitely book again and highly recommend her services.”

“Julie is super kind and friendly, great with Zuko, and very flexible. Zuko loves going there. House is kept clean and her dog is very well behaved and chill/gets along with other dogs.”

“Chelsea and David were amazing! When I picked up my pup, she was happy and tuckered out! I would definitely bring my girl back to them when I come back into town. Can't recommend enough!”

About: I grew up with two bigger dogs (German Shepard and chow/golden mix) and always had responsibility with taking care of them. Although I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, I am always the first to watch my family and friends dogs such as Bernese mountain dog, doodles, Bassett Hound, and German Sheppards! In the last two years, I have been a recurring sitter for a doodle, chow, chocolate lab, and other breeds. All dogs were through friends, referrals, and people in our building so not many reviews on here but I am sure I can send their numbers if referrals are needed. I just moved to Durham but looking to help dog sit here and hope can find some new favorite dogs to sit:) I work hybrid, so I can schedule any meetings around bathroom/dog park breaks. I have experience taking dogs on multiple 2+ mile walks a day if needed. We have a couch cover, so happy for dogs to cuddle up on the couch! We have a fenced in back yard so can play together outside! Happy to have the dog sleep in the bedroom but prefer them off the bed if possible!

“Paige was such an amazing dog and cat sitter! Frodo has lots of separation anxiety and Paige was so sweet and warm. She sent me daily updates, checked in on Zoey, and hung with Mr. Frodo! I couldn’t have asked for a better first time rover experience!”

“Jessica took such great care of our Addie girl! We were needing care while we were out of town and Addie loved it. She had excellent communication and organization. She sent pictures regularly.”

About: My name is Dylan and I have lived in the Raleigh/Durham area for an about three years now. I’ve lived my entire life around dogs and puppies and absolutely love them! I have a fur baby named Benny who will be 3 in July. He’s playful, loving, and so much fun! I am very familiar with the needs of a puppy or full size dog and love meeting new furry friends! One of my favorite activities is walking dogs and going to the park. I look forward to meeting your pup!! I work full time currently, but I have a flexible schedule and work fully remote from my home office. I can be very flexible and attentive to your dog’s needs during the day and evenings! I do have a fully fenced in yard, but prefer to be outside with my dog when he’s outside. Every morning, I wake up early to take my dog on a walk. My dog is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play! He gets along with all other kinds of furry friends. Our house is fairly good size with a lot of room for a dog to run around and play! He has a strict breakfast and dinner schedule that we follow daily as well.
“Vincent was very accommodating and responded quickly to my last minute request. He came out to greet us and the pups were comfortable with him immediately. He was very friendly and made sure everyone was harnessed and leashed for the short trip from the car to the fence. He has a nice fenced area for them to play and sent cute videos and photos. The pups appeared to have a great time and especially enjoyed their playtime with his two dachshunds! I will definitely use him again for daycare and drop-in visits.”

About: Hello, my senior dog of 14 years passed away recently, so I am looking to get my pup fix in while also helping you out! You can expect an attentive, caring and fun foster environment when your pet stays with me. I am an active individual who works from home and doesnt mind stepping out of the house 3 to 4 times a day to exercise and play with your pets! I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! “Bryan was great with my two dogs! We used Bryan for our English Mastiff and Boston Terrier, and he provided frequent updates, pictures, and prompt responses. I felt at ease, and my dogs appeared to be happy and content when we picked them up! We will definitely use him again if the services are needed! Thank you, Bryan!”

“Alex was so awesome! He was able to keep my sweet lillypad and helped me out tremendously! So thank you alex! I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the surrounding areas!”

About: I have always had a deep love for animals, and caring for them has been a natural part of my life. From energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets, who need more patience and comfort, I truly enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality. I currently own 3 big dogs, each with their own unique needs - they are such a joy to take care of each day. Whether your pet likes long walks, endless fetch and playtime, or quiet companionship, I am more than happy to meet them where they're most comfortable. 🐾 For the summer months, my availability is wide open! Weekdays and weekends as needed. As a middle school teacher, I provide care and compassion no matter the day. During the "back to school season" - I will still prioritize the care needed regardless, and will make scheduling work to the best of my ability! I have a big fenced in yard for my three dogs at home. For drop-in visits, walks, and check-ins, I provide the absolute best care given the environment (Fresh water, food, and playtime always). With NC heat, I make sure to prioritize pet health and wellness alongside their happiness. Each animal is unique and I make sure to take all factors and needs into consideration with each visit! ❤️

About: I have 5 cats of my own as well as a small dog, and I cherish all animals. I have been petsitting for family and friends since I was about 10, and am flexibly available to take care of your babies when you need. I'm a high-school senior about to graduate, so during the summer I will have plenty of free time to devote to taking care of your animals! I will do anything requested of me regarding caring for your pets in your home, including keeping them company, going on walks, and giving them plenty of love.
About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds. Chow Chow was my brother-in-law's dog who barked at me a good 3-4 times before she knew I wasn't a total stranger. Bothered me none.
About: I’ve had the joy to work with and own various types of animals throughout my life, from cats and dogs to exotics. I also have experience dealing with special needs and senior animals. I have worked in shelters and vet clinics; this experience gave me skills in administration of oral medication, working and managing multiple animals at once, identifying when an animal is feeling under the weather and understanding animal body language and cues. I completed multiple classes that allowed me to learn both hands on and through bookwork, to acquire my veterinary assisting certification. I have flexible availability all weekdays for drop ins, walks and doggy daycare. I am available for boarding weekdays and weekends. I may be away for a few hours daily, but someone will be home with your pet at all times. Care is tailored to you and your pet’s needs. When it comes to your fur-babies staying in my home, they will be kept separate from our animals, in their own space, which will provide a calmer and less stressful environment for your pet! I will require that each pet staying in my home have their own crate and any other personal things you would like to bring for them to make their stay as happy and comfortable as possible. If you have any special requirements or information that you would like to give me for your pet, I will happily accept and follow it. I understand and respect that every pet is different! All pets, whether boarding or doggy daycare, will get optimal amounts of supervised outside time. I have a large, fenced in back yard that is the perfect place for playtime! If you would prefer a leashed walk for your pet, there is a long, country road with tons of sights and smells for your pet to enjoy that we can walk together! After playtime, plenty of water and cuddles will be provided. They will have plenty of time outside of their crates to hang out with me and explore! If you would like a nail trim or a bath, just let me know before hand and I will be more than happy to do that for you. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
“Bell is reliable, attentive, friendly, and my dog loved her! He is a fearful and sometimes stubborn baby, she was able to get him out for walks on the first visit when it has often taken people multiple times to get to that point. She was very quick and thorough in her responses and put me at ease that my pup would be okay while I was out of town. We will definitely consider her again in the future!”

I take care of a dog and a cat, I take my dog on daily walks twice/three times a day for his potty breaks. They both get fed 2 times a day and 2/47 playtime and love.

I have had my own personal pup for 6 years who recently passed due to health issues and am familiar with pets with medical needs that may need medication, etc. I work from home so when it comes to boarding I have plenty of time to be with your pup and they will have access to walks whenever they need :) I work remotely from home in a neighborhood community. I recently lost my soul dog and miss the routine of walks, feeding, playtime and companionship. I am able to provide it all with my availability and work from home schedule. I live in a community with my own backyard available for dog sunbathing/playtime. In addition to a safe neighborhood for walks, and access to dog park to get out all that extra energy! About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.
“I had a great experience with Kevin for walking Gazer! He always showed up exactly when scheduled, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Communication was excellent—he kept me updated before, during, and after each walk, and were very responsive to messages. I really appreciated his flexibility as well, especially when I needed to request additinal walks and adjust times on short notice. It made coordinating everything so much easier. One of my favorite parts was receiving photos from each walk—it was so reassuring to see Gazer happy enjlying his full 30 mins walks. I would absolutely recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and caring dog walker!”
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my whole life! I know how it feels to have someone else take care of your animals so I will for sure to give them all the loves, treats, and play time to ensure they get the best care while your gone! I am a nurse so I would be able to come and visit on my days off, or after work. Since I only work a couple of days I have a very flexible schedule! I would make sure to always have any dog on a leash and be attentive to my surroundings. As well as making sure they eat the proper food and notice if anything was out of the ordinary

“Otis had so much fun on his stay! He was happy and tired when we picked him up and has a new best bud in Lani. Erin was so kind and caring. We would definitely recommend and plan to use again!”

“Dan was an incredible resource for a last-minute request to keep our old girl comfortable during a house party. As the guest list grew, we knew she’d be overwhelmed, so we reached out to Dan. Dan hosted her and from the pictures he sent, she made herself comfortable at his place. It was such a relief to not worry about a party guest leaving a door open; she was safe and relaxed with Dan. What also speaks to his level of care is that when Coco came back home, she had zero anxieties or stress. It was as though she was grateful for having an afternoon to herself.”
