I'm not ready to adopt again, but that means your dog has a second home! Other than errands, I’m home all day with your dog. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: Hello, my senior dog of 14 years passed away recently, so I am looking to get my pup fix in while also helping you out! You can expect an attentive, caring and fun foster environment when your pet stays with me. I am an active individual who works from home and doesnt mind stepping out of the house 3 to 4 times a day to exercise and play with your pets! I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!
About: I grew up with two bigger dogs (German Shepard and chow/golden mix) and always had responsibility with taking care of them. Although I do not have any dogs of my own at the moment, I am always the first to watch my family and friends dogs such as Bernese mountain dog, doodles, Bassett Hound, and German Sheppards! About: I have been doing this for over a year now and I really enjoy it. I initially started doing it to socialize my pup but now I just do it cause I love dogs. I also have trained my puppy with a puppy book called The Focused Puppy and she has become a very well trained dog. Will help train yours too if interested. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced in backyard. I take my pup out there to play and potty every hour or so, as well as walks in the neighborhood. My neighborhood also has great dog parks walking distance to me that we love to go to. About: Grew up with multiple dogs of all sizes. Current proud father of two cats. Love walking and running so why not add a friend. As a firefighter I am looking to to help in any way I can on my days off! Full time fireman so I work an odd schedule. 24 hour shifts with 24 hours off in between. Built in with four days off in a row, so off days I am free all day! With lots of free time on my off days, I can easily travel to watch and check up on all pets. About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds.
