Hi! I’m a biology graduate student at Duke University and an experienced pet caregiver. I’ve cared for a variety of animals—including dogs, cats, parakeets, and lizards—so I’m comfortable with different temperaments and care routines. I’ve also been a cat owner for the past three years, and helped with my partner's energetic large dog for the past year, which has given me lots of hands-on experience with daily pet care. I currently offer dog walking and pets drop-in visits. Whether your pet needs exercise, playtime, feeding, or a quick check-in while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like my own!

I prioritize making pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. During visits and walks, I carefully follow each pet’s routine and any instructions provided by the owner. I will take pictures of your pet for every visit. I’m respectful of your home, mindful of boundaries, and always arrive on time. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and plenty of photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Zichen was responsive, accommodating, and dependable. This was our first time using Rover for our cats so we were a little nervous but as soon as I spoke to Zichen I felt at ease knowing that my cats would be well taken care of.
Zichen took wonderful care of our two senior cats. She was super communicative, sending photos regularly so we always knew they were happy and well fed, just as we'd asked. When our flight got delayed, she handled it without missing a beat and kept our cats comfortable the whole extra time. We'd trust her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable abd wonderful sitter.
Zichen was great with my kitties, and was a savior when one had to go to the emergency vet!
I had such a great experience with my pet sitter! They took wonderful care of my cat, Peaches, while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and attentive hands. They kept me updated with messages and photos, followed all of his care instructions, and made sure he had plenty of attention and playtime. Peaches looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I got home, which says everything.

Schedule
I have a fairly flexible schedule with advance notice, which makes me generally available during the daytime Monday through Friday. I’m also usually an early riser, so I’m happy to accommodate morning walks or check-ins.
