Pet care experience
I've had dogs for over 18 years, and cats for 16. Currently, two large dogs, Gwen and Jean Luc, two cats, Max and Lucy, a turtle, Flo, and some fish and frogs reside with me. I'm comfortable giving meds as I've had a dog with chronic kidney disease and am going through it again with my senior cat. I have never met a critter I didn't love, and I have even volunteered at a wildlife rehab facility for more than ten years. I work from home, and my schedule is very flexible. When booking, please let me know if you have a specific time you'd like me to drop in, or if there is a window. I know how hard it is to leave town and have someone else look after your pets. I welcome a meet and greet, in-person or virtual, so we can get to know each other before confirming the reservation.

Katrin is fantastic and sent photos after each visit. My cat can be aloof around strangers and she took extra time to make my cat comfortable around her. You can tell she cares about the animals she is watching.

Katrin was responsible, steady, and resourceful in caring for my quirky cat. The situation was challenging, because workers were doing noisy carpentry during my absence. Katrin managed to engage Zelda with play, even though she had been hiding from the noise all day. Katrin’s timely visit reports were very reassuring as well. I was able to enjoy my trip, knowing that Katrin was giving our kitty such good care.
