About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl, there was almost always a cat or dog beside me in every photo. Being around animals has always felt natural to me, and caring for them has been one of the greatest joys in my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats, dogs, birds, fish, and even lizards. Today, my home is shared with several beloved rescue cats, each with their own personality, routines, and little quirks that make me smile every day. My path into pet sitting happened naturally while working as a caregiver, where I often formed close bonds not only with my clients, but with their pets as well. Before long, families began trusting me to care for their animals too—and I quickly realized how much I truly loved it. I also have extensive hands-on experience caring for senior pets and animals with special needs, including medication administration, insulin injections, subcutaneous fluids, special feeding routines, and gentle comfort care. Providing comfort, patience, and a good quality of life to animals—especially those needing extra support—has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience. Whether I’m dropping in to feed and care for your cat, keeping your pet company while you’re away, or taking your dog for a safe and enjoyable walk, my goal is always to help them feel comfortable, secure, and loved in their own space. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I treat every animal with the same kindness, patience, attention, and affection I would want for my own. I’d be honored to care for your beloved babies. I’m dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I do my best to keep my schedule flexible and am available 7am–10pm, seven days a week. Whether your pet needs a morning visit, a midday check-in, dinner and evening care, or simply some company and affection while you’re gone, I’m happy to help. Feel free to reach out with your preferred times, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your schedule and your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep everything feeling calm, familiar, and low-stress. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, litter box or potty routines, and any notes you leave regarding behavior, preferences, or special care. I know how important routine can be—especially for cats—and I try to keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. I’m very attentive to details such as securely locking doors, checking gates, keeping food and water areas clean, and making sure pets are safe and comfortable before I leave. I also pay close attention to each animal’s personality and body language, whether they’re playful and social or shy and need a slower, gentler approach. I always want pets to feel safe with me and cared for in a way that feels natural and respectful to them. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

Absolutely amazing! Paid close attention to my pup’s wellbeing and put him first. Stayed in contact with updates and answered any and all questions I had. My pup came back so happy and tired and got so excited to see her the next day which is the sign of a great walker. Thank you so much!

Zainab took great care of Mia on Wednesday evenings while I was in a 9 week program. I was so grateful that she did activities with her every time, plus lots of cuddles. I also had peace of mind that she had a confidence and experience with high energy dogs like my Mia. I will definitely book her again for future needs. Thank you.

Karissa is exactly who we needed for our sitter/companion for our Husky. She had excellent communication, prompt responses to all messages, very kind and sweet, and mindful. She was so thorough, understood dog behavior very well, knew exactly what to do depending on how our dog interacted with her each day, and always provided adequate discussion of anything needed. She went above and beyond, and took such great care while we were visiting family. Our husky needs lots of exercise and she helped make sure she got that everyday. I will definitely be booking with her again anytime I need a sitter/walker if she is available. Truly grateful she was so helpful and supportive.

Cara was right on time. She was friendly and patient with Hutch. She even had a treat for him!! (After asking permission of course). We talked about his harness and his leash. She gave me some great pointers. Of course he behaved perfectly for her 😂 but I'm ready for our next adventure. Cara is great with the dog, and the human!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
