I am a devoted, attentive, and insured pet sitter, as well as a member of Pet Sitters International, proudly serving the Reading, PA area. Since adolescence, I have helped animals by volunteering at cat shelters and wildlife rehabilitation centers. I am experienced with canine behavior as well. As your pet sitter, I'll make sure your cat or dog feels and safe, seen, and secure in their home with their new friend Jess! And you'll be confident of this when you receive updates and photos of their happy faces at play. And when it comes to stamina, I'm all about matching energy levels! If your dog loves to run and play, we will go for long walks and do fetch until we're tuckered out. Chill pets and senior pets get extra cuddles and gentle care specific to their needs exactly as you would.

Always the best walker for Brooklyn!
Jess was remarkably patient and kind with our little ones. This marked our first time leaving them, and our initial worries faded after her first visit. Our rescued young beagle and our nine-year-old beagle princess enjoy being around people yet are selective, and they adored her. She walked our older girl, Lola, and played with Jax outside. Having her watch our furry babies while sharing photos and staying in touch gave us peace of mind to enjoy our time away.

Jess was very nice and pleasant to communicate with, and I don’t have anything negative to say about her personally. Unfortunately, the actual house sitting experience did not meet the expectations of the service I booked. I specifically booked overnight house sitting with the expectation that someone would remain in my home with my dogs. Jess left the house in the evening and did not return as expected. I attempted to contact her twice over the course of the evening and did not receive a response. Because I was several hours away, my parents ultimately had to interrupt their plans and stay overnight with my dogs. My husband and I ultimately left our vacation after 15 hours. I understand that unexpected circumstances can happen, and I would have been willing to work with her if she had communicated with me. My primary concern was the lack of communication and the fact that the overnight care I had booked was not provided. Rover’s Trust & Safety team is still reviewing the situation. Jess did refunded the booking. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable booking Jess for overnight house sitting again.
Jess was amazing with my new puppy and above and beyond with her care!

Zeitplan
I am currently flexible, as my primary focus is growing my pet sitting. I'm used to working with pets that can be on their own for 6 to 8 hours at a time, as I may do multiple drop ins throughout each day. However, let me know if your pet needs special attention and I am more than willing to see what we can work out!
