I know how hard it is to leave your family member behind and I want to make sure to give the furry family members the love they are used to! I am retired and just want to hang out with all the pets. My full attention will be given! I am patient, I love walking and hiking! My day revolves around your pet! Once it is booked we will go on many walks or take it easy, whatever the pet requires I am here for it! Im happy to follow the daily routine your have set in place for your furry friend! I do love going on walks and hikes so please let me know if that is something I can do!
About: I grew up in a house that had at least 3 dogs (both large and small) and a couple of cats at all times! My mom bought each of my siblings and I a dog to take care of when we all reached middle school age. For me, it was a minature dachshund named "Spike" who became my best friend! All of that being said, I have a lot of experience with the everyday care of both cats and dogs. I have lots of experience pet sitting for friends and family, and I worked in kennel for one summer in college. While working in the kennel I got a lot of hands on experience with different breeds and temperaments of both large and small dogs. And I am not shy about cleaning up after pets either! I am currently taking a few online college classes, but I am currently unemployed so my schedule is very flexible! Mornings, afternoons, and some evenings... I can be available. My number one priority is safety, both for your pet and for me. I have experience with both agressive dogs and dogs/cats that like to put themselves in danger... for example, getting into things they shouldn't or having a fondness for bolting out the door. I am careful 100% of the time!
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience in veterinary clinic settings, combined with my background in pet sitting and doggy daycare. As a pre-vet student, I have a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety, so your pet is in knowledgeable and attentive hands. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and needs, from energetic puppies who are still learning the ropes to senior pets who require extra patience, gentle handling, and close monitoring. I pay attention to details like changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels, and I’m confident in administering basic care routines as needed. Beyond experience, I truly treat every pet like my own. I focus on creating a safe, loving, and low-stress environment, whether that means active playtime, structured routines, or just extra cuddles and reassurance. Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m only in class for about 2 hours a day and work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide consistent care, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m especially available on weekends, where I have open availability for walks, drop-ins, and boarding. I make sure to plan my schedule around the pets in my care so they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and personality to help them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and structured routines for feeding, walks, and rest. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal schedule so they feel secure in their familiar space. I follow all instructions closely, whether that includes feeding routines, medications, crate training, or preferred walking routes. I’m experienced with pets of all ages, including puppies who may need extra patience and structure, as well as senior pets who require gentle care and closer monitoring. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Bev is such a kind, friendly, and warm person. My cat adores her, and the details notes and images that Beverly left with each visit gave me such peace of mind. I had never used a professional pet sitter before, but Bev will be my new go-to-gal. Couldn't possibly say enough kind things here!”

About: I always had dogs and cats growing up. I am comfortable giving medicine and good with schedules. During college, I house sat for long or short term needs. Happy to take to the park, walks, or play in your yard. I can care for multiple pets if needed.
“Xiaoyu took such good care of my kitty! She was reliable and sent lots of pictures and did everything I asked. She communicated really well also! I was happy to see her take such good care of Piper!”

“Tashia was great! Draco loved her and was his happy sweet self upon my return. Tashia communicated very well with me and all that she did with him while there. Would use her again!!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life, but 4 years ago I adopted a staffordshire terrier with behavioral issues. Since then I have been committed to training him and working through desensitizing him to his triggers. My mom is a dog trainer and has taught me a lot about dog psychology and behavior. During high school I volunteered at a local rescue to walk and feed the dogs there. My family started fostering dogs from the same rescue so I have had plenty of experience with all kinds of dogs. I am committed to making every dog live a happy, healthy life! I just moved to the Raleigh area and am applying for full time jobs, but right now my schedule is completely open! I am finishing up my masters degree in accounting at ECU online. I have a dog so adding in extra dog walks in my routine is no problem at all! I keep my dog on a strict schedule with walks and feeding times, so I understand if you need that for your own pet! He has behavioral issues so I am experienced in caring for dogs with "extra needs". I can easily walk and crate dogs. Whatever your pet needs, I will happily make that happen!

Cary dog parents share their Rover experiences
Rachel did a drop in visit for my senior dog, Isabelle. She was kind knowing it was my first time using a service like Rover and stopped by beforehand so I had a chance to meet her and show her around. I will be using her again, it’s hard to leave a senior dog for too long, it was great peace of mind to know she had her covered while I was away.

I can’t recommend Annalise enough! She has been checking in on my French Bulldog puppy, Prada, while I’m at work, and the experience has been fantastic. As a first-time puppy owner, leaving a young puppy alone was stressful, but they immediately put my mind at ease. She is reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. She always sends photos and updates during their visits, which I look forward to and really appreciate throughout the day. Prada absolutely loves them and gets excited when they come by, which tells me everything I need to know about the care and attention she’s receiving. Knowing she is getting potty breaks, playtime, and affection while I’m away has been invaluable. Thank you for taking such great care of Prada. I will gladly be booking again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter! All around a genuinely good person and it shows for sure I couldn’t have asked for better!

Emily took absolutely wonderful care of our fur babies! I was so appreciative of how detail oriented she was and the questions she asked ahead of time to get to know our animals and their routines. I am somewhat of an anxious pet mom, but I felt confident leaving them in Emily’s care and we couldn’t have left them in better hands. She went above and beyond with the actual care of our pets and was very patient even though our dog took her sweet time to go potty in the heavy rain. Our cat also seemed relaxed when we got home, which is impressive since she tends to be a very anxious kitty.

Faith is my go-to for watching out pets because she is always SO amazing with all of them! She was able to accommodate a last minute trip away and I am so grateful to never have to worry about my pets while they are in her care, especially with one of my cats having special needs. I will always highly, highly recommend her and all 4 of my pets love her!

So grateful for the care you gave our dog while we were away. Knowing you were stopping by each day gave us real peace of mind. The daily picture meant so much — it was such a comfort to see our dog happy and well cared for. Thank you for being so reliable, thoughtful, and kind. We’re lucky to have you. 💛
MengFas is a fantastic sitter. She treated my dogs like her own and kept me updated throughout the visit. She communicated clearly and let me know of any thing that came back. I will definitely be reaching out again for her assistance. Highly Recommend! 🙌🏽👏🏽🫶🏽

Miranda M. was amazing with our 5-year-old Catahoula mix over a long weekend. She sent daily photos and updates, followed her routine perfectly, and kept her ssooooo happy. We tried super fancy boarding place in town, and it was great..... but Choppy was nervous the WHOLE time. Miranda M. is super reliable and caring—we’ve already rebooked her! Highly recommend in the Cary area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
