About: Hi my names Spencer and I’ve recently moved to back to Cary, NC. I’ve been around dogs since I was born and later took care of them including medication needed, walks, grooming, potty time, etc.. While growing up in my teenage years I also pet sat for my neighbors and friends for multiple years! I have two dogs of my own that I love and adore! I’ve worked with children and dogs and know what adornment and love comes with either. About: I have always had so much love for playing and caring for dogs since a young age. I have been petsitting for various families for around 8 years now. I was an employee (started as an intern) for a little over a year at a doggy daycare/boarding facility that was also linked with a non profit dog rescue organization. I worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. This job improved my efficiency with tasks and I gained more confidence when handling dogs! I was also in the animal science academy program at my high school. This allowed me to work in the children’s barnyard at the NC State fair, handle classroom animals (goats, chickens, reptiles, and rodents) and be a member of the FFA. Additional: I have so much love for reptiles and rodents. So if you have a little critter that needs care, I’m here to help! I have a leopard gecko and I grew up having 3 hamsters. I have petsit many kinds of reptiles and rodents just as long as I’ve been petsitting dogs and cats. **I require a meet & greet at least 2-3 days before the first drop in or walk!** My schedule is pretty open as of right now! I will keep all of your rules, procedures and dog’s needs noted and they are all taken seriously. About: In 2006, my family adopted an Old English Sheepdog, Zoey. We got Zoey when she was a puppy, and she lived to be 9 before she passed away. In 2013, my dad and step-mom adopted an Australian Shepherd puppy, Molly. Molly was very high energy and needed a job to do, which was stressful for my step-mom so after Zoey passed away, my mom, my sisters, and I had Molly come live with us. Molly was with me for all walks of life, and we lived together just me and her for the past 6 years. As Molly had gotten older, her arthritis became a big deterrent for us, and we adapted as best we could to make her as happy and comfortable as possible. In the years after college, I dog-sat for my family friends and my own friends when they'd travel. It was always enjoyable and a good way to hang out with some pretty cool dogs! They came in all shapes, sizes, and ages! With Maddy the shitzu being 17 and Banor the German Shepherd being almost a year. I've always had pets, so taking care of them has always been a priority for me. It's truly muscle memory at this point. I get up and immediately go to take my dog outside. Before going to bed, I allot 20 extra minutes to take my dog outside. It's second nature. I care for pets by creating a safe environment for them. I always double-check to make sure nothing is on the floor that they could get into. Pushing things back on the counter in case they jump. And making sure they get extra pets before leaving them to go to work.

Our nervous cat who needs medication remembers her even after months and is so comfortable and outgoing with her, which just melts away all the scaries of leaving! Most importantly, they were so patient, gentle, and loving with Oreo. You can really tell that they genuinely care about pets，and knowing Oreo was in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind while I was away.
