“Nate was wonderful to have sit our cats! He took great care of them, and our home. He came over beforehand to meet the kitties and was a pleasure to talk with. We felt so much better while traveling with having someone we felt comfortable with caring for our cats.”

“I was a little skeptical as this was y first time using Rover however Ellen was great! Super communicative, my pups loved her and she eased my mind sending plenty of pics! I will definitely be booking with her again!!”

“Bella is extremely sweet. I was concerned my giant breed mix rescue (10 months old with a mouthing problem) might be too much of a handful to ask of any sitter, but she stepped in enthusiastically and I have nothing but positives to say. I got multiple photos each visit (Monday-Friday), a fairly detailed rundown (including my dog’s energy levels, training progress, etc.), and Tulip has been in a great mood every evening when I come home from work. This was my first time having a caretaker for a pet, so I was very nervous (especially about my house being a mess) but I gained so much relief from the help and would absolutely recommend Bella to anyone looking for help.”

“Isabel is very responsive and flexible, and kept us informed about our two dogs during our time at the beach. We had nothing to worry about! She sent us lots of pictures of each visit too. Highly recommend Isabel!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. That experience taught me how important consistency, patience, and close attention can be when a pet isn’t feeling their best. I also currently care for my senior dog who requires medication. Today I have a labradoodle that I’ve had since he was a puppy, two cats, and my senior dog. I take pride in training my dogs to be well-behaved and socialized. In addition to dogs and cats, as stated previously, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including lizards, snakes, chickens, rodents, fish, a sun conure parrot, horses, donkeys, alpacas, and pigs. I know every animal is different, and I do my best to learn their routines, personalities, and quirks so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I am a career biochemical scientist and lost my job in April. I am now having a blast working as a full-time stay at home mom. My 1 year old son also loves pets and would need to occasionally accompany me! I am available pretty much around the clock. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I will follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any household rules you’ve established to the best of my ability. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I will make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and companionship. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. In my own home, pets are treated like part of the family. I maintain a safe, clean environment and supervise interactions carefully. I currently have a friendly labradoodle and two cats, so I’m very accustomed to managing different personalities, energy levels, and care needs.
“I could not be happier with Alexis. Excellent communication and professionalism. My Bliss was well taken care of when I returned home. I highly recommend Alexis I hope she is available for my next trip.”

I will walk dogs with awareness and attentiveness of your pet, and during house visits I will make sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and healthy! I will make sure your pet is active and playing, and I don't mind attending to other requests while you're away.
“Ella did a great job looking after Chloe! She was reliable, asked the right questions, showed up on time, and provided good care. My dog trusted Ella during the visits and walks. I’d rebook Ella again!”

About: Generally, I’m a dog lover. I have a reactive dog who has taught me a lot of patience that I intend to extend if needed. Pet care IS my routine. I work an inconsistent schedule and outside of those work hours, my girl is walked, fed and loves to play frisbee any second she can. For your pet, I’m looking to fit in some part time care. My schedule is flexible with enough notice as well. In a client’s home, I follow the dog’s lead. I the dog needs space, I can give it. If they need to play, I am happy to play. Whatever their schedule, that is my new schedule. I am punctual and thorough.
“This is the third time that I’ve used Riley now and she has been great! Even let me know about an ant problem around my cat’s food and helped take care of it for me while I was gone for an extended period! Thanks Riley!”

“We can't say enough about the great job Liz did watching our two dogs. She took time before we left to meet the dogs and for them to get used to her. One of the dogs was a rescue and has anxiety around people. Liz worked with him during her visits to have him be comfortable and by the end, was even sitting next to her. This helped us be able to relax knowing that the dogs were not just getting fed and let out, but were getting lots of real attention and cuddles. We would definitely rebook with Liz when the need arises in the future.”

I am currently a full time college student. I’m working on my bachelors in animal science. I’m able to have a wide variety of availability. I will make sure bowls are clean, food properly measured or full, water refreshed with every visit, tummies are full, and hearts are the happiest they can be. Every animal is always treated as if it were my own. Each animal deserves only the best of care.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Raleigh
We had such a great experience and were so impressed with the care our dog and cat received! They took our dog on lots of walks, made sure she was let out regularly, gave her medications, and gave both of our pets plenty of company, attention, and cuddles while we were away. They even sent incredible pictures throughout! It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were being so well cared for. We came home to happy pets and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will absolutely be using them again and would highly recommend them!

Jonathan was great, once again! My dogs love to see him. He lets my pups set the pace for how long to stay outside vs snuggle indoors, which I really appreciate on those busy days where I can’t get home for lunch. He takes lots of photos and leaves detailed reports on how the visit went.

I could not have asked for a sweeter, kinder companion for my dog. Courtney was thoughtful and caring. She kept this nervous pet parent updated and sent pictures to reassure me all was well. I needed an extra day and she stepped up to do it. I will hire her whenever the need arises and she is available.

Sarah went beyond than just a drop in sitter she took out her time or extra time to spend with my fur babies which they both stopped eating because of my being away. I really appreciate her patience and her love for my pets I definitely would a repeat her as a sitter 💕💕💕.
