About: Your Favorite Pet Sitters’, Favorite Pet Sitter. Hi There! I have over 10 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds. I prioritize your specific pets needs and do my best to make sure they are receiving the best care possible by going above and beyond expectations. I am available for Drop Ins and Walks Friday-Monday anytime and after 4pm on Tuesdays - Thursdays. Please let me know if you have any questions! I love working with friendly animals that love attention or animals that need a bit of space! I am happy to adjust my sitting habits to your pets specific needs and behavior.
About: Hello! I've always loved animals. I grew up with a cat and now have two cats of my own. I also used to have a dog who, unfortunately, passed away recently. I'm the type of person who gets excited whenever I see a pet on the street or in a window. I will care for your pet just as much as I do my own! I'm currently working full time, I'm available in the morning (before 9am) or after work (usually after 5.30pm). I'm more flexible during weekends and can always accommodate if needed I have a fenced balcony that is safe for my cats. They have a lot of toys, a water fountain, an automatic feeder, and a cat tree.
“This is the third time that I’ve used Riley now and she has been great! Even let me know about an ant problem around my cat’s food and helped take care of it for me while I was gone for an extended period! Thanks Riley!”

About: What sets me aside from other sitters? I will love and care for your dog(s) like they are my own. I love taking photos/videos and showing how they’re doing and making sure you as an owner have nothing to worry about. I grew up with dog(s) all my life and have watched so many sweet pets since I was 13. I use to work at a vet hospital in Hawaii so I am familiar with medical care, dog training, giving medications and sticking to a routine. I’m currently a full time behavioral therapist with children with autism. My schedule is pretty much flexible. I can do mornings, afternoons, and evenings. And weekends. I live in an apartment that has two dog parks. I have a roommate with a dog that I take care of. We go to the park and the lake and we go on long runs.
“Brittany is great! She does regular drop ins during the day with my crazy puppy. He’s much calmer when I get home the days that she’s been there. She’s very clear in her communication, sends great pictures and it’s clear my pup loves her.”

“Canaan provided great care while I was away. This was the first time I’ve used a pet sitter in my home while being away and she made sure I was kept up to date with how my elderly dog was doing with both pictures and notes plus additional messages. It was clear she had my pets health and happiness at the forefront of her care and I could not have asked for a better sitter. Would 100% recommend and hope to be able to request her services in the future :)”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better pup sitter for my little Ellie. From the moment I left, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such caring and capable hands. Elias went above and beyond to make sure Ellie was comfortable, happy, and well taken care of during my time away. I especially appreciated the regular updates, photos, and little notes about how she was doing—it really reassured me that she was enjoying herself and getting lots of love and attention. When family retuned home, Ellie was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. It’s not easy trusting someone else with your pet, but Elias made the whole experience stress-free. I would absolutely recommend Elias to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring dog sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!”

About: I’ve always been an animal person. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I have a dog and cat now, so I’m very used to all the little routines, quirks, and cuddles that come with them. I especially love dogs, and I’ll treat your pet like one of my own with lots of attention, patience, belly rubs, and happy updates. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I work from home. I’m around during the day, so your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches, and I can give them plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. It makes it easy for me to keep them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I work from home. “As always, Nicole took great care of Marlow, took care of everything we needed, and was extremely communicative and timely throughout. We're so impressed how she's managing to bring our sweet, shy girl out of her shell more and more, when no one else really can.”

“Carlee did an amazing job with my elderly dog. Given that my dog has minor health issues, as well as being finicky around new people Carlee handled everything great. She was good with directions, cleaning up, and having patience. I highly recommend her.”

About: Growing up, I learned how to take care of pets with many different needs (a family dog with cancer that required oral medications multiple times a day, a blind senior dog that reached 19 years and needed daily IV drips and guidance to use the bathroom, administered insulin injections to a diabetic cat). I'm very comfortable with accommodating any needs your pet may have. I'm a mom to a golden retriever and an aunt to two German short-haired pointers that I absolutely love. I love taking dogs with me on walks and to run errands but I'm flexible depending on each dog's social skills. I'm an avid pet lover that will make sure your pet is getting all the love and attention it could want!

“Taylor did a great job making sure our kitty got her medicine and lots of love while we were away! All 3 cats were well cared for! We have already booked her again.”

“Summer was such a wonderful pet sitter for my cat! They were prompt and helpful in their communication, and knew all of the questions to ask to make the experience as seamless as possible. I’ve been back for one day, and I think my cat misses them already! They provided thoughtful and helpful feedback with each visit, and the photos they sent made me feel like my cat was in good hands. I would highly recommended seeking out Summer for your pet care needs.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Raleigh
Katie is absolutely fabulous. She's been visiting my two pups daily for the past month or so due to a crazy busy period at work. She's unbelievably punctual and utterly reliable. I get pics with happy updates on the daily, and I have 100% confidence that she's taking phenomenal care of my precious pups. One of my pups is a ball playing fanatic -- he would play until he dropped -- and one of things I so appreciate about Katie is how mindful she is about when he's had enough as the days get warmer. There's no doubt she truly cares, and I could tell from our first meet and greet that she loves animals and has a very kind demeanor. I'm so glad I found Katie -- she's made a hard period at work a bit more bearable with one thing less to worry about. Thank you, Katie!!!

I could not have asked for a sweeter, kinder companion for my dog. Courtney was thoughtful and caring. She kept this nervous pet parent updated and sent pictures to reassure me all was well. I needed an extra day and she stepped up to do it. I will hire her whenever the need arises and she is available.

Sarah went beyond than just a drop in sitter she took out her time or extra time to spend with my fur babies which they both stopped eating because of my being away. I really appreciate her patience and her love for my pets I definitely would a repeat her as a sitter 💕💕💕.

Benjamin is one of the only care takers I trust. He always goes above and beyond to ensure Dale feels safe, gets enough exercise, and is well taken care of. I would recommend Benjamin to anyone who wants peace of mind when leaving their pets alone. He sends frequent updates and check ins, communicates, and sends photos. Will be booking again for any pet sitting needs I have. Thank you Ben!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
