About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 15 years and have always been the person friends and family trust with their pets. I’m also a dog mom to two pups of my own, so I know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust caring for them. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, energy levels, and personalities, including puppies and dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding routines, playtime, basic training reinforcement, medications, and lots of attention and cuddles. I’ll always treat your dog like they’re one of my own and make sure you get plenty of updates while they’re with me. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be home throughout the day, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and lots of attention. I already plan my days around my own two dogs, so adding another pup into the mix is easy and something I genuinely enjoy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I have two friendly dogs of my own and understand that every dog has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m happy to follow whatever schedule and rules your dog is used to, including feeding, walks, medications, crate routines, or giving them their own space when needed. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of pictures and messages so you can feel comfortable knowing your pup is safe, happy, and getting lots of love.
“Ella was so great with our cat! He can be shy and a little timid and warmed up to her immediately. Communication was awesome and we loved getting all of the cute pictures every day. Having Ella checking in while we were away gave us such peace of mind. We’d recommend her to anyone and will definitely be using her regularly!”

“This was our first time using Rover, and it was a last minute request! Jiahui was quick to respond, immediately offered to come meet our cats prior to the time of care and provided them with the essentials for the couple day we were away. We’re very appreciative !”

“Hannah was so great taking care of my eight month old pup while I was out of town! She’s super reliable and punctual and shared great updates every time! She gave me peace of mind my dog was in good hands while I was gone! I really appreciate her flexibility to help, especially on shorter notice too!”

“I highly recommend Jalanie. She took excellent care of my two lady cats, Iris and Lulu, while I was on vacation. Jalanie was attentive and reliable; she followed all the instructions for the cat’s care while checking on them, and kept me updated all the time. It was such a relief to know Lulu and Iris were in great hands. I’ll definitely keep Jalanie in mind for whenever I need a pet sitter.”

“As always, Katelyn did a fantastic job caring for my cat while I was out of town! She’s always very responsive and sends excellent updates and photos each day. Would highly recommend!”

About: I am a professional pet sitter and dog walker who loves spending time with furry friends of all sizes. I've been doing this amazing work for the past 7 years. I am a fully remote worker with a highly flexible schedule and free weekends. Perfect for recreation, and perfect for my love of all furry creatures great and small. For drop-in visits, I care for pets in their own home to minimize stress and maintain familiar routines. I will provide detailed updates with photos!
“Whitney was absolutely amazing! I needed help on short notice, and Whitney went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and to make sure that my cats were taken care of while I was away. We were able to communicate feeding plans, and she kept me updated on how my cats were doing on each drop-in. I would definitely work with her again or recommend her services.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my family cared for dogs, cats, and chickens, many of them rescues. Over the years, I've gained experience caring for animals with a variety of personalities, ages, and care needs. I also have experience with pet sitting, dog walking, house sitting, and assisting with Rover clients. Spending time with animals is something I've always genuinely enjoyed, and I love getting to know each pet's unique personality. When you trust me with your pet, I will care for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and care, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day and overnight. Whether your pet wants to play, go for walks, get extra cuddles, or just have someone nearby, I'm happy to give them the attention they deserve. Since I mostly provide care in my clients' homes, I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine, so they feel comfortable while you're away. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, sleeping arrangements, and any other specific needs your pet may have. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big responsibility. I will treat your home with respect and keep it clean.
“Rachel is amazing! My shy babies loved her. Sends so many pictures and makes sure they are cared for. I have a hard time leaving my babies but Rachel makes me feel a lot more comfortable being away.”

“Rodrigo is a caring animal owner himself. He shows much love for all animals. Rodrigo is very reliable and trust worthy. He has come into our lives at the most needed time. We have already rebooked him! Our rescue baby girl loves him! She is an American pitbull terrier who doesn’t like all, but Rodrigo stole her heart!”

“Cannan was amazing, we had a literally last minute cancellation for an entire week of cat sitting over the holidays. She was super quick to respond to our booking request and hopped on a phone call since we were already out of state and couldn’t do a walk through. Our kitties warmed up to her and we are so happy she was able to take care of them. Would definitely book again!!”

“Isabel did a fantastic job with my cat! She did everything that I asked her to do and more, and I know that Venus thoroughly enjoyed her time with Isabel. I cannot recommend her enough. She is responsible, thoughtful, caring, kind, and communicative, everything that I look for in a pet sitter. An easy 5 stars, and I would highly recommend Isabel for your pets!”

About: I’m a Junior at NCSU in the Pre-Vet program! I am a certified vet assistant, worked as a kennel attendant, and I volunteer with a local cat rescue often. I have experience with aggressive, disabled, and high energy animals, as well as all types of species! I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the best care! I am currently taking classes but I am flexible in the mornings and evenings to take care of your pet! I am often free and have a flexible schedule on weekends. I will walk dogs with awareness and attentiveness of your pet, and during house visits I will make sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and healthy! I will make sure your pet is active and playing, and I don't mind attending to other requests while you're away.
“Maggie is fantastic! I’ve used her multiple times for my kitty, and this time around I have a new kitty who is extremely anxious, and she was absolutely amazing with him. She is reliable, communicative, and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Raleigh
I could not have asked for a sweeter, kinder companion for my dog. Courtney was thoughtful and caring. She kept this nervous pet parent updated and sent pictures to reassure me all was well. I needed an extra day and she stepped up to do it. I will hire her whenever the need arises and she is available.

Sarah went beyond than just a drop in sitter she took out her time or extra time to spend with my fur babies which they both stopped eating because of my being away. I really appreciate her patience and her love for my pets I definitely would a repeat her as a sitter 💕💕💕.

Benjamin is one of the only care takers I trust. He always goes above and beyond to ensure Dale feels safe, gets enough exercise, and is well taken care of. I would recommend Benjamin to anyone who wants peace of mind when leaving their pets alone. He sends frequent updates and check ins, communicates, and sends photos. Will be booking again for any pet sitting needs I have. Thank you Ben!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
