About: I’ve grown up with many dogs ranging from Dachshunds to Pitbulls. I love helping my dogs stay active and comfortable. I would love to care for your pet, small or large, in your time away! I work Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm and Fridays 8:30-2:30. I am able to walk your dog or drop in from 12pm-1pm on weekdays. Unfortunately, outside of that time frame, I am not available until 5:30pm on a weekday (Mon-Thurs) or from 7am-8am. For drop-ins and walking, I will make sure to check on all of your animals needs and anything else pet related that you would like while I am there. I would love any tips to help care for your animal while I am with them!

“Olivia was awesome and my cats really loved her! She even got my very nervous cat to come out and eat while she was out. She was on time and did a really great job! I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: With over 10 years of pet sitting experience, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals—from playful puppies and independent cats to reptiles and rodents. I’ve personally owned and raised more than five dogs throughout my life, and I understand that every pet has its own personality, quirks, and needs. I’m especially comfortable handling dogs with challenging or shy temperaments, and I always prioritize patience, safety, and trust. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a mellow senior cat, your pet will get attentive, compassionate care while you’re away! As a teacher with summers off, I have a super flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available for dog walking any time of day, up until around 8 p.m. I also offer boarding any day of the week, so whether you’re heading out of town or just need some extra help during the day, I’ve got you covered with reliable, consistent care all summer long. I live in a pet-friendly neighborhood with a nearby dog park and greenway, perfect for walks and outdoor fun. My home has a fully fenced backyard, and I have an older, friendly dog who enjoys playing with others. I’m happy to crate dogs if preferred and provide a safe, loving environment for your pet.
“Keagan was excellent with our two pups Bandit and Lil Man. She did exactly what we asked of her. I loved the photos she took to always assure us the boys were doing well. Would highly recommend her to anyone. Wish we could give her 10 stars. The boys loved her! *We did leave a cash tip*”

“Alyeska was awesome! We had a senior dog with very specific needs and she did very well with him. She also made friends with our two kitties which was awesome as well. I would recommend her to others without question.”
“We felt comfortable having Kaity watch our pets. She asked several questions at the meet and greet, and spent time with our animals. She noticed our golden was developing a hot spot and brought it to our attention so we could address it.”

“Azriel did a fantastic job caring for our senior cat. Our sweet girl can be messy and anxious, but Azriel took the best care of her, was thorough, and everything was in great condition when we arrived home! Azriel left such detailed reports for us after each visit. We would highly recommend Azriel to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Julia is amazing! She has been such a LIFE SAVER with my brand new puppy! She is always on time and is super reliable! She is always sending updates with pictures! Penny absolutely loves her!”

About: When it comes to care for your canine family member, I want you to have complete peace of mind as if you were there yourself. I will show up at the time we have arranged. I will let you know I arrived (if you wish). I will send you a photo of your baby (if you like). Solid communication and decades of experience caring for dogs--including difficult dogs--set me apart. I can help house train your puppy. I absolutely love geriatric dogs. Big dogs are great. Loud dogs are fine. Jumpy dogs are A-ok. As a volunteer in dog rescue and a dog foster home, I am accustomed to managing many combinations of dogs and behavior. Only the best care for your baby! I am available for mid-day drop-ins or walks, as well as overnight boarding in my home. I work for myself so I can prioritize great care for your dog! My home is truly set up all around the concept of caring for dogs. With an extra-tall chain link fence with extra support posts, to careful outdoor supervision, to extra tall baby gates in doorways, to all the supplies needed, we are accustomed to dog fostering, petsitting and managing dog care in creative ways. We are experienced dog fosters, used to introducing dogs to one another. We have two household dogs who are accustomed to other dogs coming in and out. In your home, the specifics will depend upon your situation and the details/requests you provide.
“McKenna was great she really helped us out when we needed someone at the last minute. Our dog was well taken care of and she was right on time. Even when plans changed on our end it was no problem and she was very understanding. Will definitely use McKenna again.”

“Alexandra took good care of our cat while we were away! We loved seeing the photos, especially the ones of our cat cuddled up and getting lots of love. :) We would love to have her pet sit again!”

About: I have loved all animals including our reptilian friends, since the moment I touched fur for the first time. I get so excited which sometimes gets the dogs to not only like me but usually get rather up there too. I have had a dog and three guinea pigs. My current residence does not allow pets 🥲 Dogs usually love me due to my excitable and cheery nature. From quick to long walks, a few hours to a few days, I love spending time with our more fuzzy relatives ☺️ I hope to make some more fur friends soon. I am available for over night/day sitting, day drop ins. Sundays would be the longest time I would be away in the mornings otherwise my schedule is flexible 😊 I take safety very seriously and am very weary of strangers and their dogs when it comes to meeting my own and others. Most dogs are friendly some just show their fear with more aggressive behaviors. I work to keep an eye out for potential hazards in the home and take preventative measures before a disaster can occur.
About: I just moved to North Carolina from Minnesota. Have the summer free and I have lots of free time and would love to spend some of that time caring for dogs. I’ve owned dogs almost my whole life and I used to volunteer at the humane society. I live with my fiancee Jessie and she loves animals just as much as I do. I have owned many cats but currently we don’t have one. I have a 5 year old sheepadoodle and he is the happiest and friendliest dog I’ve ever owned. He would love to keep your dog company. We have a fenced in yard and live 4 minutes from a great trail where we walk daily. Thanks for looking and I hope to hear from you Currently have the summer off. So lots of free time to spend with your pet and show them lots of attention. I don’t have a kennel for my dog but if you have one and would like to bring it. We can accommodate I have a fenced in yard and a dog that has never shown aggression. Our house is obviously dog proofed and nothing dangerous for dogs to get into

About: I have 6+ years of experience caring for neighbors' pets, as well as 10+ years of experience taking care of family pets. It is just as important to keep pets happy and healthy. Caring for pets has always brought a smile to my face, and I am glad I’m able to bring happiness to their lives as well. I enjoy walking and taking care of my roommate's dog frequently. I am fully available anytime! I never get tired of playing with my roommate's cute dog and caring for her. While your animal is in my presence, you will know they are in good hands. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine consistent so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all feeding instructions carefully, make sure water is always fresh, and keep food areas tidy. I provide plenty of walks, playtime, and attention based on your dog’s energy level and needs. I’m also respectful of your home and will keep things clean and organized during my visits. You can expect regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. If caring for a pet in my home, they will be in a safe, calm environment with lots of supervision, affection, and structured care. I prioritize safety, comfort, and making sure your pet feels at ease while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since my early teens. I have a strong passion for dogs and love to care for them. I am very accustomed to dogs with behavior issues and bad anxiety because my own dog struggles with that. I can also handle both small and large dogs. I love taking my dogs on walks and also occasionally will find an easy trail to hike on with them. I would love to bring your dogs on nearby trails or stick to easy walks based on the dogs energy levels. I do stay overnight and house sit if requested. I’m currently working part time (short hours 2 days a week) so i’ll have plenty of time to play with and look after your pups! I unfortunately cannot care for your dogs at my own home because one of my dogs is not friendly towards other dogs, but I am more than happy to watch your dogs at your home! I can stay overnight with your dog if requested.
About: Hi! I’m Kiara. I live in a very nice apartment complex that has a huge dog park and also a nature trail. I've worked at both an Animal Shelter as well as an Animal Hospital as a Vet Assistant, and I’m currently working part-time at Banfield. Last summer, I took a part-time job at a doggy daycare and fell in love. I'm pretty much available, unless I'm out of town. My house is very pet friendly. I only allow dogs on the couch. I live in a two bedroom apartment, so there is a lot of room for your dog to enjoy. I like going for long walks (or short walks) with the dogs. For those dogs that aren't as energetic, laying on the couch watching tv works just fine. I'd recommend bringing any of your dogs favorite things with them to help them feel more at home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rolesville
Patti is absolutely fantastic! Our dog is very anxious and had a very big reaction the first night (even though we did a meet and greet). He went a little wild and Patti didn’t even blink an eye. Patti took complete control of the situation and was cool, calm and collected and was able to win him over with a lot of patience! I appreciate how proactive she was in communication, the detail to take care of our babies, and the hilarious report cards. All around a wonderful experience and can’t recommend Patti enough 🙌

Sara was absolutely wonderful taking care of our pets. I came home to very happy and well taken care of animals. It was nice to go on vacation and not have any worries on whether the animals were ok or not. I highly recommend Sara to anyone, she is a very caring and professional person

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
