About: I am a teacher on summer break! Neighbors and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and visit their dogs during the day. Working with children requires some of the same qualities needed to work with animals. I am patient, calm, nurturing, and dependable. I am currently on summer break. I will be available most weekdays and some weekends. I can visit and provide walks during the day. I am available at various times for feeding and playing with your pet. I love to provide a friendly, safe, and fun experience for your pet. I love interacting with pets. I usually go over to feed, give fresh water, and provide bathroom breaks. About: Growing up, I had a vizla with high energy and my best memories were taking her on long hikes and playing catch. As I got older, I began to dog sit for a family with a golden retriever, not only taking him for walks but staying with him overnight to make sure he was fed and comfortable while his family was away. I was fortunate enough to be able to adopt a lab mix puppy in 2019 and a hound mix puppy in 2020. I worked very hard with them as puppies with socializing, training, and overall loving them unconditionally. Early on, our lab mix did have some allergies, so I familiar with giving medications whether topical or pills. At this time most of my weekends are free. I am also available to assist with any dog care after 6pm on weekdays. I do work a full time job but I am remote, so if you live close by, I can definitely get in a good walk on my lunch. I am more than willing to do long walks or runs, for I love running, and adventures to parks. I am very responsible and trustworthy and can provide plenty of pictures and videos to provide you comfort that your pup is in good hands. As a dog parent myself, I understand the importance of following any instructions that are given to ensure the happiness and safety of your dog and home.

Having worked in an emergency Veterinary Hospital here in Utah, a Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Colorado and on a sheep farm as well, where I trained dogs for sheep herding races. Although I no longer have pets of my own I still love spending time with and interacting with animals. I understand that each animal has its own personality, whether they are extremely excited or like to be left alone and in their own space, I can easily adapt. About: I will take care of the dogs like my own. I have had dogs in my life but I had to send my dog to my moms house in North Carolina she had more space for her over there. I love to walk them and play with them. I have rescued 5 dogs in my home country and took care of them till I found a good family for them. I have taken care of dogs from ages 0. About: I’ve grown up with 5-6 dogs always in the household. My mom is a licensed dog breeder, who also shows dogs and has for years as well as myself (2 years of dog showing experience myself, my mom over 20+) . We have shown dogs, groomed them, trained them behaviorally. I have dealt with ranges of dogs as far as puppies, chihuahuas to whippets, Aussies, German sherperds, Dobermans, and even Irish wolfhounds which is the breed my mom has always had since I can remember. We have also fostered dogs of mixed breeds, and trained dogs behaviorally or for dog shows, for clients. I have quite the experience in different kinds of dogs and the type of personalities they may have and am always up for a challenge. (: Rover is my only job, I am home 24/7 as someone who is in school online. I am available all days of the week and time as long as it doesn’t conflict with another pets stay (reaching maximum of the number of pets I can have for the dates!) or if I am by chance, busy or occupied with other plans which is- rarely but I will be transparent if that is the case. I care for pets in a clients home the way the clients want me to in regards to what their animal is used to. I go simply by the book unless told otherwise on the leniency of the schedule. I am here to take care of the dogs in the way that they need including receiving that bond and interaction they need! About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I started my own pet-sitting business years ago and loved it. I have a true passion for all animals- domestic and wildlife. I have been helping take care of my family and friend’s animals for decades and it is always my goal to do whatever the humans asks to ensure the most comfortable experience for their fur babies while they are away. Including playtime, cuddles, feeding, treats, etc. I treat every fur baby as I would my own. They are ALL precious and deserve to be loved and treated as the special souls that they are. I am reliable and responsible and would love the opportunity to care for your sweet fur baby while you are away. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to give plenty of personal time and attention to your fur babies and will be able to attend to them in whatever way they need. I can administer meds, care for elderly / low-mobility dogs, and give other special care that may be needed. My goal is always to make your babies feel loved and cared for until you return. I will follow your directions when in your home and will take care of your fur baby however you request. Routines are important, and I will aim to maintain their regular schedule as much as possible. If boarding in my home, I have a fenced yard and will not leave them outside unattended (unless they want to hang out there). They will receive attention, cuddles, play and exercise throughout the day. I have a quiet home where they can relax and enjoy their time at “Camp Lu” :) At this time, I can only board small/medium size pups that are low energy and are okay with co-existing with 2 low energy, older, non-aggressive, passive cats.
