About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. As someone who has had rodents and taken care of reptiles at Petsmart, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have exotics! I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. I’ve given different animals medications and am confident I can watch your fur babies! I look forward to hearing from you! I am a full time teacher and am currently only available on weekends or holidays as of right now. I’ll have more free time over spring and summer break! I prefer to not board animals in my home as I do not have room for them. However, I would very much enjoy coming over and taking care of them for drop in visits!

About: I’ve assisted my aunt during her Rover experience for two years, I’ve rescued and TNR’d neighborhood street cats for two years, and I have an 8 year old dog and a 2 year old dog back in New York! I recently moved to the area and am living with family, so my animals are not with me until I secure independent housing—they are with family that were still in my old area. I’m a full-time college student in graduate school and I work full-time, both of these commitments are virtual. This leaves me relatively free to prioritize the care your loved pets need! I currently am not offering to pet sit in my own home as I currently live with family, but when watching other peoples dogs I take the same precautions as I would with my own dogs as you can never guarantee their behavior and how they respond to situations or other people. I would ensure the environment is safe, and if we go out into the community, I would be aware of my surroundings and take every precaution as if they were my own!

About: I am a work from home mom who loves pet sitting. I started this journey a few years ago, and has had the privilege of hosting several dogs of all ages, personalities and sizes. My children absolutely love animals, especially dogs, so there will be lots of cuddles and love from us. I am big on staying fit and healthy, so I take daily walks to get my steps in. I am very accommodating, so nothing is ever too much for me. I’ve had pet parents ask me to scramble eggs for their fur babies and put it on top of their dog food, and I’ve also had pet parents tell me to only feed their fur baby with a spoon, so please don’t hesitate to ask for any special request, because I aim to please! I work from home during the week and I have lots of down-time allowing me to interact and play with your fur baby . I am off during weekends and holidays I have a big house with an unfenced yard, and a loving family that will play and love on your fur baby. We will take daily walks, play outdoors, and have lots of play time and cuddles.

About: Even as a kid, I was the primary caregiver for my childhood dog, Zoey. I took responsibility for making sure she was fed and watered, taking her for long walks and playing with her in our backyard. I knew that when I grew up, I would adopt a dog as soon as I could. A few months before I was discharged from the Marine Corps, I reached out to my hometown's local animal shelter about Baron. Baron was a 2-year-old, Boxer/Pit mix and from the moment I saw his picture, I knew he was going to be my boy. I called the shelter regularly to see if he was still there and let them know the day I could pick him up. I drove from my base in California to my Mom's house in Florida, dropped my stuff off, and immediately went to the shelter to adopt Baron. For the first few months I took him everywhere I went. All my friends and family knew that if Dan was coming, so was Baron. A few years after adopting Baron, I shared pictures of him with a girl I was talking to, and she immediately wanted to meet him. I took him for a walk with her and, as they say, the rest is history, she’s my wife. She brought two cats to the relationship, Teyla and Cara, and I eventually adopted a third cat, Ahsoka, with her. I cared for Baron together for 10 years. In 2022, he was diagnosed with bone cancer in his jaw, and we decided to try surgery, chemo and radiation. My wife and I got another 3 years with him, when the vet had told us he had 6 months to live. In 2025, his cancer returned, and he passed away just a few months before I got married. I spread some of his ashes at our wedding ceremony at one of the purest lakes in New Zealand and his name is engraved on our wedding bands. Shortly after saying goodbye to Baron, my wife and I adopted our fourth cat, Leia. I like to say she is Baron reincarnated because she follows me everywhere and has taken his place begging for food at the dinner table. I love meeting new dogs and cats, and have never met a dog that doesn't like me (I think everyone knows that cats aren't always that easy to win over!). As the caregiver for your pet, I bring years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have experience with puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I am experienced with delivering oral and topical medications, and hand feeding. I am experienced with obedience training and basic commands, crate training, walking on a lead, different types of dog collars, and off leash e-collar use. I understand how to safely have dogs meet, and what signs to look for to signal aggression, discomfort, fear, or playfulness when around other dogs. I understand that pets have routines and schedules, and I will adjust my day to make sure your pet can keep their routine. I live on the cusp of Knightdale, so commuting to the Triangle is not a problem, even for checking in every few hours. In their home, your pet probably feels most comfortable! I can provide them lots of fun and safe interactions while you are away, making sure they don't feel lonely as they wait for you to come back home! I'll always be sure to stay in the same room with them, you never know what kind of mischief they can get into if left to their own devices unsupervised! Breaking into the treat drawer won't fly under my radar! If your pet needs to stay at my apartment for any reason, I am on the first floor, so no stairs needed if that is a struggle for your pet. I do own two shy but friendly cats, but my apartment has enough space that they can be put in a separate room for a portion of the day while your kiddo and I hang out! We will probably just sit together on my couch while I read or watch TV together, nothing too loud that would cause any stress.

About: I’ve previously been a dog trainer, and have worked at several daycare/pet-centered places. Dogs are my absolute joy, and I can’t wait to meet yours! My work schedule is a bit up in the air right now, but I’ll do everything I can to ensure your pup is comfortable while you’re away. I make sure dogs go out frequently to potty, whether that be a quick walk on the leash, or letting them out in the backyard. Meals are given per instructions left for me, and playtime will definitely happen, if that’s something they enjoy. Otherwise, we can snuggle up.
