About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. As someone who has had rodents and taken care of reptiles at Petsmart, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have exotics! I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. I’ve given different animals medications and am confident I can watch your fur babies! I look forward to hearing from you! I am a full time teacher and am currently only available on weekends or holidays as of right now. I’ll have more free time over spring and summer break! I prefer to not board animals in my home as I do not have room for them. However, I would very much enjoy coming over and taking care of them for drop in visits!

Personalized Care, Special Needs Pet Care, and Experienced & Trustworthy I am retired and currently an Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister which provides me with a flexible schedule. I am available weekdays, most weekends and holidays for you. My services at this time will take place in your home. I will require an initial greeting to make sure your animal is comfortable and has a chance to get to know me in their own environment. I have worked with animals that have had anxiety and was able to work with them to gain their trust.

We moved from Colorado a few years ago, where we had the joy of hosting all kinds of animals—big, small, shy, energetic—you name it, we’ve loved it! Both of us grew up on farms in the Midwest, so caring for animals has always been second nature and one of our favorite things to do. These days, we both work from home during the week, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and snuggles all day long. Our home is very much a pet-first household—around here, animals run the show! Whether your pet loves curling up on the couch, stretching out in bed, or following us around all day, they’re welcome to make themselves completely at home. No strict rules here—just lots of love, comfort, and flexibility. We also have a super friendly pup who absolutely loves making new friends and gets along great with other animals. Daily life includes walks around the neighborhood, and the occasional trip to the dog park for extra zoomies. We’re very laid-back and flexible with schedules—whatever works best for you and your pet, works for us! We can’t wait to meet you and your pet—and give them all the love they deserve! 🐾 I currently am working remote so 3 - 4 long walks is my current routine. I live close to numerous trails so you can count on your pup always getting the best outdoor experience while he/ she is with me. I have one very friendly dog who loves to play, I am always home to keep an eye on him and any other friends we have at the time. I am very diligent in my care because I know I would expect the same of someone watching my guy, you can always be sure that in my care your fur baby will get lots of love and attention… and treats of course.

About: I have had dogs my whole life ranging from 175 to 50 pounds. My family also breeds dogs so I’m comfortable with all ages. I have dog sat for numerous family and friends and love all animals so your pet will get treated as if they were my own. I’ve also took care of dogs that take medication, are on special diets. I have a full time job but I make my own schedule so I will base that off of my schedule with rover. Pets will be well taken care of and took on walks. If your pet is more laid back and likes to lay around all day then we will do that. If your pet has a lot of energy and like to run the we can do that as well. I have plenty of yard for your pet/pets to play. I currently don’t have any other animals in the house and am waiting for my puppy to be born! Your pet will be allowed on furniture unless that is a rule you have then I will not go against it. I have plenty of toys, dog beds, and crates if needed.

About: I have been working with dogs for over 9 years now. I also have 3 small dogs that make this life worth while! When I’m not dog sitting, I love to hop in the RV with my dogs and take amazing road trips! I have trained puppies as well. I’m currently working from home and can watch your pets at any time! I love to take frequent breaks to run outside with my dogs and would love to do the same for your pets!i I have a fenced backyard. I also follow directions. If a client tells me what is needed, then I will make sure to go above and beyond to meet those requested needs!

About: Between my significant other and I, we regularly care for 8 animals; 4 dogs & 4 cats who we absolutely adore. They may be little rascals sometimes, but they're our little rascals. My childhood was filled with animals, and several neighbors, family, and friends would put their trust into me to care for and give love to their pets on a daily basis. I have experience watching smaller rodents as well, and have no issue with a pet who may need extra help, whether that ranges from a unique health issue to simply aiding the owner in a diet process. This truly is what I love to do and I would love to meet your furbabies as well! When caring for a multitude of dogs & cats under the same roof, everyday comes with a morning and nightly routine to make sure everybody is safe and healthy. This tends to consist of feeding, using the bathroom, giving medication, cleaning litter boxes, walking, providing play, and the most important thing; mitigating the peace. Animals can be crazy creatures, and knowing how to do damage control is crucial when dealing with dogs & cats! Less common activities may involve bathing, cutting nails, transporting due to travel, etc. I see every moment that I am with your pet as a chance to connect and provide care. I have a great ability to multi-task and de-escalate if a conflict may occur between two animals and it is extremely easy for me to follow directions accordingly. I would consider myself a compassionate person and don't just want to care for your pets, but fulfill their every need!

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve primarily cared for small and medium-sized dogs, but I’ve also had experience with larger dogs, including my roommate's two who were very cautious and selective about who they trusted. Somehow, they quickly decided I was one of their people! My family and friends also regularly trust me with their furry family members and often come to me for advice. I currently have a cat of my own who requires medication and has some behavioral quirks, so I’m comfortable with the extra patience, consistency, and attention that pets with special needs may require. I’ve always been the person animals seem to gravitate toward wherever I go. My mom has jokingly called me the “cat whisperer” for years, especially! I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their humans are away. I am self-employed and make my own schedule - I am very flexible so I am able to work from virtually anywhere and at any time, so fitting in any set care is very easy! I always want to make sure I earn the trust, respect, and love of the pets by being gentle, caring, and loving and showing them they can trust me. This often looks like some extra cuddles, a treat, some play time during quick drop-ins etc! There's nothing better than earning a fur baby's trust :)

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for my whole life! Currently have 3 cats in my home (2 are my moms). I’ve professionally cared for dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, etc! I love them all and am very comfortable with learning about new pets too! I’m able to provide overnight stays in the home since my mom can watch my cat! I’m currently working part-time, so pet sitting is my main priority and my schedule is flexible! I will probably be in and out of the home for my part time work and also to check in on my cat occasionally! I am available to care for pets in your home, whether that’s drop ins or overnights! I do not board at my home due to my cats

About: I’ve assisted my aunt during her Rover experience for two years, I’ve rescued and TNR’d neighborhood street cats for two years, and I have an 8 year old dog and a 2 year old dog back in New York! I recently moved to the area and am living with family, so my animals are not with me until I secure independent housing—they are with family that were still in my old area. I’m a full-time college student in graduate school and I work full-time, both of these commitments are virtual. This leaves me relatively free to prioritize the care your loved pets need! I currently am not offering to pet sit in my own home as I currently live with family, but when watching other peoples dogs I take the same precautions as I would with my own dogs as you can never guarantee their behavior and how they respond to situations or other people. I would ensure the environment is safe, and if we go out into the community, I would be aware of my surroundings and take every precaution as if they were my own!

About: I am a teacher on summer break! Neighbors and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and visit their dogs during the day. Working with children requires some of the same qualities needed to work with animals. I am patient, calm, nurturing, and dependable. I am currently on summer break. I will be available most weekdays and some weekends. I can visit and provide walks during the day. I am available at various times for feeding and playing with your pet. I love to provide a friendly, safe, and fun experience for your pet. I love interacting with pets. I usually go over to feed, give fresh water, and provide bathroom breaks. If there are any specific needs for your pet, I am willing to learn and accommodate those. I enjoy making a connection and building trust with pets. About: I’m currently a veterinarian assistant who has a Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Tortishell Kitty, and a cute little bearded dragon. I’m experienced with administering medications and basic grooming. I’m a firm believer that all fur and furless babies deserve love and respect and I treat them all like my very own. I am a full time Veterinarian Assistant during weekdays, but I can still swing by and say hi to the little babies. I can board or home visit anytime during the weekends! I have a fenced in yard and a sweet German Shepherd who LOVES playing with pups and is extremely gentle with kitties. I also have the ability to keep pups or cats that might not be too happy with another dog in a separate area. I enjoy recording most of my interactions with fur babies and sending the videos to you!

About: I’m 26 years old and have had pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Last year, I completed four veterinary assistant courses and hope to begin working in an animal hospital or veterinary office soon. At this time, I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and occasional in-home house sitting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and most other pets. I always keep pet parents updated with photos and Rover cards, and I respond to messages as quickly as possible. I know how reassuring it is to have consistent communication while you’re away, so I make that a priority. Please note that if my response rate appears low, it’s due to filtering out scam or spam messages—I do respond to genuine inquiries the same day. My schedule is very flexible and I have some availability every week. At the moment I'm mostly available for drop ins and walks but can occasionally do house sitting. I'm open to long term arrangements for walks and drop ins as well! The first thing I do is take them out for their walk or potty break. Then when we get back inside I give them their treat and then I rinse out their water dish and give them fresh water. Then I do anything else I was asked to do for that specific pet like change puppy pads etc. Then If the pet has toys and likes to play i'll usually play with them for a bit before I leave by throwing their toy or tug of war or whatever they like.
