About: I’ve had animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve primarily cared for small and medium-sized dogs, but I’ve also had experience with larger dogs, including my roommate's two who were very cautious and selective about who they trusted. Somehow, they quickly decided I was one of their people! My family and friends also regularly trust me with their furry family members and often come to me for advice. I currently have a cat of my own who requires medication and has some behavioral quirks, so I’m comfortable with the extra patience, consistency, and attention that pets with special needs may require. I’ve always been the person animals seem to gravitate toward wherever I go. My mom has jokingly called me the “cat whisperer” for years, especially! I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their humans are away. I am self-employed and make my own schedule - I am very flexible so I am able to work from virtually anywhere and at any time, so fitting in any set care is very easy! I always want to make sure I earn the trust, respect, and love of the pets by being gentle, caring, and loving and showing them they can trust me. This often looks like some extra cuddles, a treat, some play time during quick drop-ins etc! There's nothing better than earning a fur baby's trust :)

About: I’m a pediatric ICU nurse who brings the same compassion and reliability to pet care. I have baseline experience taking care of my own cats as well as my friends' dogs. I can easily follow specific feeding instructions to keep your pets' diet consistent and potty-walks are a breeze! Due to my own cats medication routine and my nursing career, I know how important medication timing is, if you pet needs any routine medications while I care for them you can be rest assured that it will get done, and get done right! I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur-baby with someone else. I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for every step of the way. I have a flexible nightshift schedule that allows me to have more opportunities to take care of your furbaby. Being a nurse, I only work a few nights a week and can be available in and out of typical working hours to provide your pet care and attention! I will be available almost any day of the week for single or multiple daily check-ins, potty walks, zoomie-releasing play sessions in gated areas or carefully in your home, scheduled feedings and more! I live on the cusp of Knightdale, so commuting to the Triangle is not a problem, even for checking in every few hours. In their home, your pet probably feels most comfortable! I can provide them lots of fun and safe interactions while you are away, making sure they don't feel lonely as they wait for you to come back home! I'll always be sure to stay in the same room with them, you never know what kind of mischief they can get into if left to their own devices unsupervised! Breaking into the treat drawer won't fly under my radar! If your pet needs to stay at my apartment for any reason, I am on the first floor, so no stairs needed if that is a struggle for your pet. I do own two shy but friendly cats, but my apartment has enough space that they can be put in a separate room for a portion of the day while your kiddo and I hang out! We will probably just sit together on my couch while I read or watch TV together, nothing too loud that would cause any stress.

We moved from Colorado a few years ago, where we had the joy of hosting all kinds of animals—big, small, shy, energetic—you name it, we’ve loved it! Both of us grew up on farms in the Midwest, so caring for animals has always been second nature and one of our favorite things to do. These days, we both work from home during the week, which means your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and snuggles all day long. Our home is very much a pet-first household—around here, animals run the show! Whether your pet loves curling up on the couch, stretching out in bed, or following us around all day, they’re welcome to make themselves completely at home. No strict rules here—just lots of love, comfort, and flexibility. We also have a super friendly pup who absolutely loves making new friends and gets along great with other animals. Daily life includes walks around the neighborhood, and the occasional trip to the dog park for extra zoomies. We’re very laid-back and flexible with schedules—whatever works best for you and your pet, works for us! About: My name is Lauren. I’ve had a dog my whole life, so I’m basically a pro at caring/walking dogs! I have also taken care of many cats as well! Currently I have a 4 year old yellow lab named Fenway and a 2 year old black lab named Boston. I will be available for check ins and walks with your dog. I am a teacher, so my availability is early mornings and week nights, or any time on the weekends. Can’t wait to hear from you! About: I’m 26 years old and have had pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Last year, I completed four veterinary assistant courses and hope to begin working in an animal hospital or veterinary office soon. At this time, I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and occasional in-home house sitting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and most other pets. I always keep pet parents updated with photos and Rover cards, and I respond to messages as quickly as possible. I know how reassuring it is to have consistent communication while you’re away, so I make that a priority. Please note that if my response rate appears low, it’s due to filtering out scam or spam messages—I do respond to genuine inquiries the same day. My schedule is very flexible and I have some availability every week. At the moment I'm mostly available for drop ins and walks but can occasionally do house sitting. I'm open to long term arrangements for walks and drop ins as well! The first thing I do is take them out for their walk or potty break. Then when we get back inside I give them their treat and then I rinse out their water dish and give them fresh water. Then I do anything else I was asked to do for that specific pet like change puppy pads etc. Then If the pet has toys and likes to play i'll usually play with them for a bit before I leave by throwing their toy or tug of war or whatever they like.
