Bayleigh is awesome with our girls. We are so grateful that Bayleigh was able to step in last minute while our regular walker was sick. Gladys was super happy to be able to get out and moving during midday while we were away and our cats also love to have Bayleigh come in and spend some time with them. We are super happy with using Bayleigh to care for our girls.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong passion for caring for animals. I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have been dog sitting and providing drop-in visits for family and friends since I was 15 years old. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and genuine love, giving them the same care, attention, and affection I give my own pets. When your furry family member is with me, you can have peace of mind knowing they’ll be safe, happy, and loved as if they were my own. I’m available most weekdays from early morning through late afternoon, offering flexible scheduling to meet your pet’s needs. I chose pet care because it allows me to build a healthier, more balanced lifestyle while doing something I truly love. It also gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my own dog instead of leaving her home alone all day. Caring for animals isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I’ll treat your pet with the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, including large and high-energy dogs. I’m experienced with safely crating dogs when needed and remain calm and confident around every breed. Whether it’s following a specific routine, administering basic care, or providing extra attention, I’m committed to doing whatever is needed to keep your pet safe, healthy, comfortable, and happy. My goal is to earn your trust by caring for your pet as if they were my own.

Luke was a fantastic dog walker. I had to hire him last minute because of an emergency and he was so flexible with all of the difficulties I threw his way. My dog had a great time with him and I loved all the pictures I got! I would truly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog walker that truly puts your dog’s happiness first.

About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and genuine love for all animals. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level—whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or still learning. I’m attentive on walks, gentle during sitting, and always focused on safety, consistency, and positive interactions. I’m especially mindful with senior pets who may need slower walks, extra comfort, or medication reminders, and I’m patient with puppies who are still learning routines and leash manners. I communicate clearly with owners, follow care instructions closely, and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is simple: happy, relaxed pets and complete peace of mind for you. My open availability allows me to be hands-on and fully present, giving your pet(s) lots of attention and personalized care with patience love and consistency. I make sure your pet(s) feel safe, happy, and loved in their own home. I stick to their routine, give plenty of cuddles, play, and gentle attention, and make sure they’re comfortable every step of the way. You’ll get updates, photos, and lots of peace of mind while I care for your furry (or feathery!) family members.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats for my whole life! Currently have 3 cats in my home (2 are my moms). I’ve professionally cared for dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, etc! I love them all and am very comfortable with learning about new pets too! I’m able to provide overnight stays in the home since my mom can watch my cat! I’m currently working part-time, so pet sitting is my main priority and my schedule is flexible! I will probably be in and out of the home for my part time work and also to check in on my cat occasionally! I am available to care for pets in your home, whether that’s drop ins or overnights! I do not board at my home due to my cats

About: Hello, my name is Jordyn! I love all types of animals in particular dogs! No dog, big or small blind, deaf, tri-pawed or all four paws there...i love all shapes and sizes of fur babies! I have two years of experience working in a professional boarding facility, I have also done pet sitting on the side for neighbors and co-workers since i was 8 years old. I have a lot of knowledge on all different breeds. I believe that if a dog can stay in its own home while its parents are on vacay it gives them a little peace of mind, they will be stress free while being in a familiar environment and keeping them on there regular schedule that they are use to. Not only can I dog sit, but I can also care for any other animals that are in your house, I have a chinchilla and have had mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and cared for snakes and geckos! Any type of animal i am okay with. I myself have three dogs, a 7 year old Chihuahua yorkie mix, and a 4 year old husky, and a 4 moth old Dalmatian! I understand that you have a lot of options when making a decision for your fur baby but I hope that you choose me when deciding on a pet sitter! I currently work full time in Hampstead my hours are 8-5 if close to the area if need to be i can run to them and let them have a potty walk if not they will be fed first thing in the morning and then again in the evening. If they like evening walks we can do that or if they just want to love an snuggle at home we can certainly do that as well! I also can stop over right before bed time to be relived and to get that last bit of energy out too! While staying at your home your dogs will be safe since they are in their own environment! I will go above and beyond in this aspect to make sure that they are safe by making sure that all fenced in areas gates are locked so no one will sneak out, if the area is not fenced in i will get a lesson by the pet parent to make sure that their leash/harness/collar is being operated by me properly. I am pretty confident in all of the walking tools for a dog but seeing how a pet parent uses them i can ensure that i use them the same way! While staying in your home, i will make sure that any and all medicine is administered properly if the puppy/kitten needs it along with making sure that they have access to plenty of water! I will mold to whatever you need while at your house, I want your pets to be as comfortable with me as possible!

About: I have been working in boarding facilities for over 3 years and I have been pet sitting for about 2 years. I absolutely love pets and enjoy spending time with them. I have experience in administering medication, dog training, walks and house sitting. I work at a boarding facility where I am with many pets daily in a daycare setting or just providing basic care as far as walking them, feeding and medicating them, keeping log of how they are potting and of course giving them lots of snuggles. I am soon going back to school and looking for a way to continue to do something I enjoy while being in school. When I visit your pets in your home my main goal is to provide the same amount of care and be very attentive as if they were my pet. I ensure the pets remain comfortable and abide by house rules (maybe not allowed to be on furniture or not allowed in certain rooms) while giving them lots of love and snuggles.

About: I’m 26 years old and have had pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Last year, I completed four veterinary assistant courses and hope to begin working in an animal hospital or veterinary office soon. At this time, I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and occasional in-home house sitting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and most other pets. I always keep pet parents updated with photos and Rover cards, and I respond to messages as quickly as possible. I know how reassuring it is to have consistent communication while you’re away, so I make that a priority. Please note that if my response rate appears low, it’s due to filtering out scam or spam messages—I do respond to genuine inquiries the same day. My schedule is very flexible and I have some availability every week. At the moment I'm mostly available for drop ins and walks but can occasionally do house sitting. I'm open to long term arrangements for walks and drop ins as well! The first thing I do is take them out for their walk or potty break. Then when we get back inside I give them their treat and then I rinse out their water dish and give them fresh water. Then I do anything else I was asked to do for that specific pet like change puppy pads etc. Then If the pet has toys and likes to play i'll usually play with them for a bit before I leave by throwing their toy or tug of war or whatever they like.

About: I have always loved dogs and have always had one as a part of my family. I give them unlimited access to the house and the furniture, and I would treat your dog the same. I am very relaxed and flexible. I am a graduate student, and when I am not at school I am usually with my dog, Winter, at the dog park or taking him for walks around the neighborhood. I love playing with my dog and I don't believe in locking him up all day. I have dog sat many of my friends and family's pets in the past. Winter always gets along well with other dogs, whether in the house or around the neighborhood. He is very social and I am sure he would love to be friends with your dog.

About: I love dogs and have grown up with them since I can remember from a pug to a Great Dane (as well as many other animals). I live in a townhome complex and am a female 25. Looking to meet some new fluffy friends and give them some exercise and love while their owners are hard at work. I also have experience with other animals as well from gerbils, birds, cats and all size dogs. I am available for all pet sitting! I work from home currently but am flexible!! I am looking for flexible, one time possibly, but will take long term depending on the situation. I live in an apartment but I am a one minute walk from a dog park in the complex if you request your dog gets more exercise than a walk and even other dog socialization. I will keep a close eye and protect your dog as if they were my own.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
