I’m comfortable with everything from energetic dogs who need solid exercise and structure to senior pets who prefer slower walks and extra patience. I grew up with both dogs and cats, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. I really miss that day-to-day time with them, which is what makes this so meaningful for me. I’ve also volunteered on group hikes with Saving Grace, walking shelter dogs and helping them get out for enrichment, exercise, and a break from the kennel environment. I’m comfortable walking multiple dogs from the same home when appropriate and keeping things calm, controlled, and safe. I’m very patient, reliable, and good with routines. I know how much comfort pets get from consistency and familiar habits. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated so you can feel totally at ease. Since I work from home as a business owner, my schedule is super flexible and allows me to fit pet care easily into my day. I love having an excuse to step away from the computer and spend time outside with your dogs! I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, and care, and always pay attention to each pet’s personality and energy level. I make sure pets are safe, leashed properly, and supervised at all times during walks, and I’m comfortable adjusting the pace for both energetic dogs and seniors. During this booking, when she was concerned about the auto-feeders not dispensing food, she let me know and adjusted the camera I use to check in on the kitties at various times to the food bowl so that I would be able to verify Smokey's food was getting dispersed at the correct time.
