“Loved getting videos and pics! It lifted my heart knowing that our boys were getting much deserved attention from John. The wagging tails were proof enough that the boys loved seeing John.”

“Kymberlee was absolutely amazing! She was so so nice and listened to everything I had said about my cat. Her positive energy immediately made me feel comfortable and I knew she would be perfect for the job! I will definitely be rebooking her in the future.”

About: I love everything about animals! When it comes to Cats and Dogs they are such great companions and I truly enjoy seeing an animal that is pleased and satisfied with my care, as well as their owners and I will do everything to make sure that happens, I have had professional experience working for a doggie daycare business. I of course am a pet owner myself and know what its like to have to trust someone else to take care of your beautiful pet. I very much value that trust and and take the time to learn different tricks and techniques to provide the best care possible for any type of dog or cat that I could possibly encounter on a day to day basis. I am sure that I can provide a valuable service to you. I work Part-Time, and I keep a flexible schedule so I will have no issue fitting any commitments into my calendar and I always maintain clear communication. Based on discussions with the client I will give as much attention to the animal as possible during service including playing with or without toys, walks, bathroom breaks, Feeding, Cuddles etc. based on the desire of the animal.
About: I’ve grown up with 5-6 dogs always in the household. My mom is a licensed dog breeder, who also shows dogs and has for years as well as myself (2 years of dog showing experience myself, my mom over 20+) . We have shown dogs, groomed them, trained them behaviorally. I have dealt with ranges of dogs as far as puppies, chihuahuas to whippets, Aussies, German sherperds, Dobermans, and even Irish wolfhounds which is the breed my mom has always had since I can remember. We have also fostered dogs of mixed breeds, and trained dogs behaviorally or for dog shows, for clients. I have quite the experience in different kinds of dogs and the type of personalities they may have and am always up for a challenge. I’ve been apart of all that as well as growing up learning about every breed and being in dog shows myself. Animals have been my families life at home and for work whether tiny or huge! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was younger and have done everything in the book of what it takes to care for a dog as far as walking, giving them their food and water by the scheduled time, being aware and looking out for any outlying concerns through the dogs behavior, bonding with the dog to give a comfortable setting, bathing them, and simply just showing them love, as any animal deserves the same respect humans get! (: Rover is my only job, I am home 24/7 as someone who is in school online. I am available all days of the week and time as long as it doesn’t conflict with another pets stay (reaching maximum of the number of pets I can have for the dates!) or if I am by chance, busy or occupied with other plans which is- rarely but I will be transparent if that is the case. I care for pets in a clients home the way the clients want me to in regards to what their animal is used to. I go simply by the book unless told otherwise on the leniency of the schedule. I am here to take care of the dogs in the way that they need including receiving that bond and interaction they need! My goals are to make the client and the client’s animal satisfied and genuinely happy!
“Kelly was absolutely amazing with our pup( Pitbull/oversized lap dog). She was flexible with our needs and she stayed true on her punctuality. She even was able to clip our pups nails which is a god send. If we weren’t moving, Kelly would be our go to Rover. THANK YOU!”

“Lindsey took SUCH great care of our boys! She sent lots of pics and was so kind during our meet and greet. We instantly felt comfortable with her and will definitely book again! Thank you Lindsey!”

“Janine was amazing with Legend for 5 days. She engaged with him and took great care of him! He always looked forward to her check-in’s! I will definitely use her in the future!”

“Kiarra has been absolutely amazing with our 4 month old lab mix Birdie. Our dog is a bit skeptical about new people and Kiarra agreed to come meet her before the drop in visits started to allow Birdie to warm up to her and we’re so grateful for that. She always sent pictures and even tried taking selfies with our super wiggly dog which made us laugh. You can tell she really cares about all dogs, and I’d highly recommend booking with her!!”

“Abby was so attentive to my pups! She gave them so much love and made sure they got lots of activity during her visits. She was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend her.”

“Amanda is fantastic with our cats and very meticulous about communicating with us. She played with them and gave us regular reports as well! I would highly recommend her.”

“Jen made this so easy. She came to meet my dog (Zelda) before I left for my trip, and I felt very comfortable leaving Zelda knowing that Jen was going to take great care of her. Jen sent picks of walking adventures and fetch. It really was helpful and easy! She took excellent care of Zelda (and me).”

“Abigail is a superstar sitter. She’s very dependable and Apollo has become very comfortable with her. Whenever we are headed out of town and we need a sitter, Abigail is our first choice. Highly recommended.”

“Nicole was great. Sent updates and pics daily. So glad we were able to enjoy our trip knowing our pup was in good hands . We will definitely be using Nicole again.”

About: Hi! I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pet, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company, I try to match their routine and make things as stress-free as possible. I’m easy to reach, send updates and photos, and I’m always happy to help, even with last-minute plans. At the end of the day, I just want you to feel confident knowing your pet is being well taken care of. I typically work from home during the week and I’m off on weekends so I have plenty of time to tend to the needs of the fur babies. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I can walk your pets as much as you like but I usually walk them 2-4 hours. I have a friendly pup named Yani that will keep your babies company while visiting my home. I’ll treat your pets like family, with love and care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
