About: I am an experienced pet sitter with over five years of experience. My experience includes working with puppies, kittens, and senior fur babies. I am a retired nurse and have experience giving dogs their medicine. Moreover, I have experience with dealing with seizures, congestive heart failure and joint pain in fur babies which helps ensure safe care. About: Along with having cared for dogs my whole life, my most recent employment position was as a Dog Playgroup Supervisor in Massachusetts. My job was to pick up dogs from their homes and bring, on average, 8 dogs at a time to a private field for them to play and socialize together (As a treat take a look at my photos if you want to see some adorable puppy photos). I loved my job, but my partner and I have recently relocated back to North Carolina for him to attend flight school, and I am continuing my career in pet care! About: Even as a kid, I was the primary caregiver for my childhood dog, Zoey. I took responsibility for making sure she was fed and watered, taking her for long walks and playing with her in our backyard. I knew that when I grew up, I would adopt a dog as soon as I could. A few months before I was discharged from the Marine Corps, I reached out to my hometown's local animal shelter about Baron. Baron was a 2-year-old, Boxer/Pit mix and from the moment I saw his picture, I knew he was going to be my boy. I called the shelter regularly to see if he was still there and let them know the day I could pick him up. I drove from my base in California to my Mom's house in Florida, dropped my stuff off, and immediately went to the shelter to adopt Baron. For the first few months I took him everywhere I went. All my friends and family knew that if Dan was coming, so was Baron. A few years after adopting Baron, I shared pictures of him with a girl I was talking to, and she immediately wanted to meet him. I took him for a walk with her and, as they say, the rest is history, she’s my wife. She brought two cats to the relationship, Teyla and Cara, and I eventually adopted a third cat, Ahsoka, with her. I cared for Baron together for 8 years. In 2022, he was diagnosed with bone cancer in his jaw, and we decided to try surgery, chemo and radiation. My wife and I got another 3 years with him, when the vet had told us he had 6 months to live. In 2025, his cancer returned, and he passed away just a few months before I got married. I spread some of his ashes at our wedding ceremony at one of the purest lakes in New Zealand and his name is engraved on our wedding bands. Shortly after saying goodbye to Baron, my wife and I adopted our fourth cat, Leia. I like to say she is Baron reincarnated because she follows me everywhere and has taken his place begging for food at the dinner table. I love meeting new dogs and cats, and have never met a dog that doesn't like me (I think everyone knows that cats aren't always that easy to win over!). As the caregiver for your pet, I bring years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have experience with puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I am experienced with delivering oral and topical medications, and hand feeding. I am experienced with obedience training and basic commands, crate training, walking on a lead, different types of dog collars, and off leash e-collar use. I'm available when you need me. From checking in on your pets while you are on vacation, taking your dog for a nice stimulating walk, or staying the night with your pets, let me know what works best for you! I will care for your pet in your home so they feel safe and comfortable. I will always have your dog on a leash and check the immediate area for other people/animals before leaving the house. I will respect your home like it's my own house, and I will follow your pet's schedule and house rules.

About: I have taken care of the family cat for 8 years, as well as embracing being a cat mom to 3 and welcoming all animals in my life. Although my strongest suit has always been cats, I have walked and fed, and even in some cases, tended to sick dogs throughout my life. After all, for 6 years I had wanted to become a veterinarian for a reason. I will always be a dog person and cat person, instead of rather just choosing one side of the debate. In the coming months, I will also become a dog mom as well! If paying through Rover is also an issue, I have Venmo, PayPal and Zelle if that would provide an easier process for my customers. I work as a freelancer photographer and model. My shifts usually are quite flexible and I would let you know ahead of time if I am available or not due to a potential wedding (I do wedding photography). I tend to my own pet’s needs comfortably while working from home so the more pets around, it honestly is a breeze. Having weekends off, I open the doors for anyone especially needing a house sitter. I am willing to move things around to be more compatible with your schedule. I have dealt with mostly indoor cats, yet it is important to point out that I have been recently training my own cat in outdoor exposure. With dogs, I will gladly take them on outdoor walks or if they prefer playtime indoors, I would happily cheer them up. I have helped care for a special needs dog while being with my partner so I know how to handle all walks of life.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a baby and made my sole income on dogsitting while I was finishing school in Wilmington! I will absolutely stay overnight with your pupper if they prefer someone there at night or will pop in and do potty, food and play breaks if not! I just moved to Raleigh area and started work so unfortunately I have limited weekday availability but I do get an hour lunch break so I have some flexibility there! Hours are 8am-5pm, lunch 1-2pm. I can provide references if you’d like, and I promise to give lots of snuggles and pets and take lots of pics! Working full time 8am-5pm M-F with some flexibility as I get a daily hour lunch break from 1-2pm. Completely free most weekends and willing to spend the night! I would prefer to travel to/stay at your pet’s home as it’s more comfortable and familiar for them, but I do live in an apartment complex with a dog area so I would be willing to bring them to my place if that’s easier or preferred!

About: I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and ages for more than a decade. Coming from a rural community I always had contact and love for animals and as a young adult I have kept pets and cared for family and friends pets as well! I work in a hybrid role and am able to decide what days I go in to the office. My office is also relatively close by and I’m able to go home when need be to check on a fur baby. I have a fenced in yard and am able to crate your fur baby (as well as mine) if needed! I am typically home more than I’m not and am always happy to spend time with pets.

About: I Have lots of animal experience including caring for horses, chickens, goats, dogs and cats. I have work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility and had to care for 40+ dogs I’ve had to prepare meals and medication I’ve also worked on several horse farms and care for several large animals. I do currently work a full-time job 8 to 5 but I do have animals of my own so I do know how to work around my schedule I’m able to housesit any day of the week as long as you’re okay with me having to work during the day and during the weekends I am completely free. I would care for your pet in the way you like if you have a high energy dog with care go for run or hikes etc. but if you dog just needs a friend to keep them company or go for walks I can do that too. I can also bathe and groom your dog as well but no hair cut.
