About: I have had dogs pretty much my whole life. One of those dogs is turning 15 this year. I exercise often, and am generally very active, so I love going out on walks with my dogs. I’m currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your dogs, because of this I’m available basically every day of the week. About: I’m 26 years old and have had pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Last year, I completed four veterinary assistant courses and hope to begin working in an animal hospital or veterinary office soon. At this time, I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and occasional in-home house sitting. I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and most other pets. I always keep pet parents updated with photos and Rover cards, and I respond to messages as quickly as possible. I know how reassuring it is to have consistent communication while you’re away, so I make that a priority. Please note that if my response rate appears low, it’s due to filtering out scam or spam messages—I do respond to genuine inquiries the same day. My schedule is very flexible and I have some availability every week. At the moment I'm mostly available for drop ins and walks but can occasionally do house sitting. I'm open to long term arrangements for walks and drop ins as well! The first thing I do is take them out for their walk or potty break. Then when we get back inside I give them their treat and then I rinse out their water dish and give them fresh water. Then I do anything else I was asked to do for that specific pet like change puppy pads etc. Then If the pet has toys and likes to play i'll usually play with them for a bit before I leave by throwing their toy or tug of war or whatever they like.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds animals since I was 8! I’m a huge animal lover and currently have two Belgian Malinois and chickens! I work four days on, four days off, so my off days are dedicated to pet care! It allows me to be very flexible with different needs. My dogs (and chickens) are my family, and are treated as such. But Judy was incredibly sweet and so was her puppy. Bennie was well taken care of and I got lots of pictures. She has a very nice fenced in yard and lets the dogs come and go as they please. “My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided. I would absolutely recommend booking with her!”
