“Janine is our go to pup sitter! She always does a stellar job, our pups love her and she keeps us updated. The most recent booking with her was over Fourth of July and one of our pups was more stressed than normal. Janine took wonderful care of her and our other pup. We will definitely continue to work with her.”

“Kelly is very reliable and our dogs absolutely love her, she communicates well and is always prompt. I would recommend her to anyone. Our dogs have fallen in love with her❤️❤️”

About: Hi! I’m someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pet, so I treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company, I try to match their routine and make things as stress-free as possible. I’m easy to reach, send updates and photos, and I’m always happy to help, even with last-minute plans. At the end of the day, I just want you to feel confident knowing your pet is being well taken care of. I typically work from home during the week and I’m off on weekends so I have plenty of time to tend to the needs of the fur babies. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for running and playing. I can walk your pets as much as you like but I usually walk them 2-4 hours. I have a friendly pup named Yani that will keep your babies company while visiting my home. I’ll treat your pets like family, with love and care!

“Cheryl is truly one of a kind. This is my second time booking her. She is very thorough with my dog and communicates so well. I am 100% confidant that my dog is in great care with her when I am out of town. My dog can be a little challenging because he is so full of energy, but she does such a great job with him. If you need someone to watch your pet while you are out of town, please book her. Will only be using her from here on out.”

About: I have helped take care of my own cats and dogs and have been trusted by multiple neighbors and friends for overnights and long weekends, including one dog with special medication and care needs. I am completing my bachelors degree online which allows me a very flexible schedule at this time. I am willing to do daily and will consider extended care if needed. I enjoy playing, cuddling, giving praise and love. I also like taking dogs for walks or playing in the back yard. Cats are a little harder to play with, but I try with the cat toys, and if that does not work, I will just sit and cuddle.
“Abigail is a superstar sitter. She’s very dependable and Apollo has become very comfortable with her. Whenever we are headed out of town and we need a sitter, Abigail is our first choice. Highly recommended.”

“I am so glad I booked Jess. She took amazing care of my cats while we were away for vacation. She sent daily updates on how they were doing, all the tasks she did, and photos! She was so detailed, it made me happy to see all the updates! She is such a kind and sweet individual and truly loves spending time with your pets! Thanks so much, Jess! We will definitely be booking her again and again!”

About: I have taken care of pets for friends and family. Have experience with cats, puppies , small / medium and senior dogs. Have also boarded small dogs in my home. I am retired and available anytime for pet sitting, boarding or small/medium dog walking. I can also care for your cat, or other small animals I have a large fenced yard and a very friendly 9 month old puppy at home. I can also crate your dog if desired .

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, up to three at a time. Over the years I’ve taken in many rescues and fostered dogs from time to time — big or small, young or old it doesn’t matter to me. I’ve also had cats throughout my life. Simply put, I’m an animal lover. Right now I have two dogs of my own, River and Bruiser (an 85lb beauceron and a 35lb true mutt, both rescues, who have traveled cross country with me. They hike, camp and swim but mostly love cuddles. I’m experienced giving medications when needed — oral meds, ear drops, you name it — and I’ve helped several dogs recover post-surgery. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, behaviors and sizes. I’m active and outgoing, so I love taking dogs for long walks. I work from home, so as long as there’s Wi-Fi, I’m happy to house-sit and hang out with your dogs or cats while I work. I’m also available for quick drop-in visits — walks, feeding, water, play, fetch, whatever’s needed. Flexible scheduling works fine for me. I work from home full time so I’m here with them all day. We typically go for three walks a day in addition to play time in the yard and most importantly lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I have a fenced yard where we play fetch, take the sun and play in the sprinklers. Dogs have free reign and are allowed on couches and beds.
About: I have had dogs my whole life ranging from 175 to 50 pounds. My family also breeds dogs so I’m comfortable with all ages. I have dog sat for numerous family and friends and love all animals so your pet will get treated as if they were my own. I’ve also took care of dogs that take medication, are on special diets. I have a full time job but I make my own schedule so I will base that off of my schedule with rover. Pets will be well taken care of and took on walks. If your pet is more laid back and likes to lay around all day then we will do that. If your pet has a lot of energy and like to run the we can do that as well. I have plenty of yard for your pet/pets to play. I currently don’t have any other animals in the house and am waiting for my puppy to be born! Your pet will be allowed on furniture unless that is a rule you have then I will not go against it. I have plenty of toys, dog beds, and crates if needed.
“Sami was great with our girls. She communicated regularly and even stayed a bit longer when I was slower to respond. Very attentive and observant about change in behavior. Thank you for taking great care of our girls!”

“Jennifer offers dedicated and dependable service. Jennifer takes time to know the dogs and understand their quarks. She truly loves what she does, and the dogs certainly enjoy their time with her.”
About: I love everything about animals! When it comes to Cats and Dogs they are such great companions and I truly enjoy seeing an animal that is pleased and satisfied with my care, as well as their owners and I will do everything to make sure that happens, I have had professional experience working for a doggie daycare business. I of course am a pet owner myself and know what its like to have to trust someone else to take care of your beautiful pet. I very much value that trust and and take the time to learn different tricks and techniques to provide the best care possible for any type of dog or cat that I could possibly encounter on a day to day basis. I am sure that I can provide a valuable service to you. I work Part-Time, and I keep a flexible schedule so I will have no issue fitting any commitments into my calendar and I always maintain clear communication. Based on discussions with the client I will give as much attention to the animal as possible during service including playing with or without toys, walks, bathroom breaks, Feeding, Cuddles etc. based on the desire of the animal.
About: I’m currently a veterinarian assistant who has a Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Tortishell Kitty, and a cute little bearded dragon. I’m experienced with administering medications and basic grooming. I’m a firm believer that all fur and furless babies deserve love and respect and I treat them all like my very own. I am a full time Veterinarian Assistant during weekdays, but I can still swing by and say hi to the little babies. I can board or home visit anytime during the weekends! I have a fenced in yard and a sweet German Shepherd who LOVES playing with pups and is extremely gentle with kitties. I also have the ability to keep pups or cats that might not be too happy with another dog in a separate area. I enjoy recording most of my interactions with fur babies and sending the videos to you!
“Iyana watched my two cats while I was away and she went above and beyond! Iyana was kind enough to send videos and pics and you could tell how much my cats loved her. She took a lot of time to play with them and she was thorough and very communicative. I cannot wait to rebook Iyana again and I highly recommend her!”

About: I have been working with animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered with Johnston County Animal Protection League with my mom since I was 12 years old, fostering animals, helping vaccinate, and providing care for dogs. I have worked with an abundance of all kinds of dogs, including those who are dead and blind. Having 8 of my own, I can handle almost anything :) I'm currently taking online classes, which gives me a lot of free time that I'd love to dedicate to taking care of your animals. Whether it's dog walking, playtime, or simply offering companionship, I’d ensure your pets are well-cared for and happy. I am available to make multiple visits per day to care for your pets, including feeding, letting them outside, and taking them on walks. I will also ensure any messes are cleaned up promptly. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bailey. On Rover:

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
