About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. As someone who has had rodents and taken care of reptiles at Petsmart, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have exotics! I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. I’ve given different animals medications and am confident I can watch your fur babies! I look forward to hearing from you! I am a full time teacher and am currently only available on weekends or holidays as of right now. I’ll have more free time over spring and summer break! I prefer to not board animals in my home as I do not have room for them. However, I would very much enjoy coming over and taking care of them for drop in visits!

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, all of them being rescues. I have experienced two of those dogs dealing with severe separation anxiety and one of them (my current) being a youthful active puppy. I have the patience and experience for both. I also have experience with fostering two pups! I currently work full time from home 8:00am-5:30pm. I am available before and after work M-F OR all day night and all night on the weekends! I can also do overnight check ins any day of the week. I currently have two fur babies. One I’ve had for three years, he’s a rescue. The other is 7 months and I got her about 4 months ago! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
