About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. I’ve primarily cared for small and medium-sized dogs, but I’ve also had experience with larger dogs, including my roommate's two who were very cautious and selective about who they trusted. Lots of love and playful stimulation. I’m not just watching your dog, I’m creating a bond. Creating a safe space for your pup to be able to relax and have fun. Building trust with you is step 1. I am available anytime for your fur babies needs. I can handle up to 2 dogs at a time. Plenty of play time and potty breaks. I have an open yard. Not big but big enough to play. I use e collars to help direct playtime and to have control over them as needed. Dogs roam freely in the house when I am home. They go in crate if I am not. Multiple post breaks and plenty of playtime and healthy stimulation
“Jett found his new best friends in this home! We did a meet and greet and they are so warm and welcoming. Their dog Autumn is super friendly also. I had no nervousness about them or their home or pet. Jett felt the same, it was instant comfort. Great communication for a first time stay :) Judy also let me know general details about dogs coming for day care while Jett would be there just for my awareness. Everything went well and they were so kind and flexible when my return flights got delayed!”
“Ashley was amazing!! she took EXCELLENT care of my GiGi!! She sent pictures and information on how GiGi was doing daily. One outstanding thing about Ashley is that I had an extenuating circumstance just prior to my booking and Ashley was wonderful!! “Matt & his wife were excellent sitters for my (very) big baby for a week! Matt sent updates and photos of our dogs being adorable together and enjoying themselves. A sign of a good time 'away at camp' is when your dog comes home exhausted, and mine certainly did! Would definitely use Matt and his wife to care for my dog when I'm out of town again.”
