About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. I always wait to see if they have sniffed me and that lets me know they are or are not accepting of me.

About: I have had many types of pets, dogs, cats, fish, and rodents. I have a lot of patience which allows me to care for stubborn pets as well as kittens and puppies. I have had both large and small dog breeds and am comfortable with both. I’m currently a student, but I only have classes for about 3 hours a day so I am very flexible. I also work part time in food service but my schedule is flexible and can be adjusted as needed. I care for every animal and pet like they are my own. About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. As someone who has had rodents and taken care of reptiles at Petsmart, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have exotics! I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Last year, I completed four veterinary assistant courses and hope to begin working in an animal hospital or veterinary office soon. Then when we get back inside I give them their treat and then I rinse out their water dish and give them fresh water. Then I do anything else I was asked to do for that specific pet like change puppy pads etc. Then If the pet has toys and likes to play i'll usually play with them for a bit before I leave by throwing their toy or tug of war or whatever they like.
About: I have been working in boarding facilities for over 3 years and I have been pet sitting for about 2 years. I absolutely love pets and enjoy spending time with them.
