About: I’ve grown up with 5-6 dogs always in the household. My mom is a licensed dog breeder, who also shows dogs and has for years as well as myself (2 years of dog showing experience myself, my mom over 20+) . We have shown dogs, groomed them, trained them behaviorally. About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. About: Between my significant other and I, we regularly care for 8 animals; 4 dogs & 4 cats who we absolutely adore. They may be little rascals sometimes, but they're our little rascals. My childhood was filled with animals, and several neighbors, family, and friends would put their trust into me to care for and give love to their pets on a daily basis. I have experience watching smaller rodents as well, and have no issue with a pet who may need extra help, whether that ranges from a unique health issue to simply aiding the owner in a diet process. This truly is what I love to do and I would love to meet your furbabies as well! When caring for a multitude of dogs & cats under the same roof, everyday comes with a morning and nightly routine to make sure everybody is safe and healthy. This tends to consist of feeding, using the bathroom, giving medication, cleaning litter boxes, walking, providing play, and the most important thing; mitigating the peace. Animals can be crazy creatures, and knowing how to do damage control is crucial when dealing with dogs & cats! Less common activities may involve bathing, cutting nails, transporting due to travel, etc. I see every moment that I am with your pet as a chance to connect and provide care. I have a great ability to multi-task and de-escalate if a conflict may occur between two animals and it is extremely easy for me to follow directions accordingly. I would consider myself a compassionate person and don't just want to care for your pets, but fulfill their every need!
About: I’ve had dogs and cats for my whole life! Currently have 3 cats in my home (2 are my moms). I’ve professionally cared for dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, etc! I love them all and am very comfortable with learning about new pets too! I’m able to provide overnight stays in the home since my mom can watch my cat! I’m currently working part-time, so pet sitting is my main priority and my schedule is flexible! About: I’ve assisted my aunt during her Rover experience for two years, I’ve rescued and TNR’d neighborhood street cats for two years, and I have an 8 year old dog and a 2 year old dog back in New York! I recently moved to the area and am living with family, so my animals are not with me until I secure independent housing—they are with family that were still in my old area. I’m a full-time college student in graduate school and I work full-time, both of these commitments are virtual. This leaves me relatively free to prioritize the care your loved pets need! I currently am not offering to pet sit in my own home as I currently live with family, but when watching other peoples dogs I take the same precautions as I would with my own dogs as you can never guarantee their behavior and how they respond to situations or other people. I would ensure the environment is safe, and if we go out into the community, I would be aware of my surroundings and take every precaution as if they were my own!
About: I’m currently a veterinarian assistant who has a Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Tortishell Kitty, and a cute little bearded dragon. I’m experienced with administering medications and basic grooming. I’m a firm believer that all fur and furless babies deserve love and respect and I treat them all like my very own. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. From puppies to senior dogs. Ive turned aggressive dogs calm. Understanding your dog and its triggers are key. I will treat your pet like it’s my own. Lots of love and playful stimulation. I’m not just watching your dog, I’m creating a bond. Creating a safe space for your pup to be able to relax and have fun. Building trust with you is step 1. I am available anytime for your fur babies needs. I can handle up to 2 dogs at a time. Plenty of play time and potty breaks. I have an open yard. Not big but big enough to play. I use e collars to help direct playtime and to have control over them as needed. Dogs roam freely in the house when I am home. They go in crate if I am not. Multiple post breaks and plenty of playtime and healthy stimulation
