“We needed to board Cotton, our 7-month-old Cock-a-poo for four days while my husband was in the hospital. To say we were apprehensive was a huge understatement! It was our first time boarding him. We picked Scott and Heather from their Profile on Rover and then arranged a “Meet-and-Greet” to assure ourselves that Cotton would be a good fit. Cotton weighs 11 pounds and Scott has larger dogs who turned out to be gentle companions. At this initial meeting, Scott was able to satisfactorily answer every question we had, to include such things as “how do we prevent Cotton from running away since he has to be “on leash” whenever a door is opened?” Or, “How do you plan to feed him since he grazes and he’ll be around the other dogs?” Every question—Answered! And, he was very flexible with our arrival and pick-up schedules, which were hard for us to nail down! From shortly after we dropped Cotton off, Scott sent us pictures of how he was getting along with the family and the family dogs. We began to relax! Over the next couple of days, and with our encouragement, Scott sent multiple pics and even a few videos to show us how our pup was getting along. He showed pics of Cotton with his other dogs, with his family and even a pic of an exhausted Cotton asleep on his lap! We were very grateful! We would be more than happy to leave Cotton with this family again! And we would highly recommend them for your pet’s boarding.”

About: I’ve grown up with 5-6 dogs always in the household. My mom is a licensed dog breeder, who also shows dogs and has for years as well as myself (2 years of dog showing experience myself, my mom over 20+) . We have shown dogs, groomed them, trained them behaviorally. I have dealt with ranges of dogs as far as puppies, chihuahuas to whippets, Aussies, German sherperds, Dobermans, and even Irish wolfhounds which is the breed my mom has always had since I can remember. We have also fostered dogs of mixed breeds, and trained dogs behaviorally or for dog shows, for clients. I have quite the experience in different kinds of dogs and the type of personalities they may have and am always up for a challenge. I’ve been apart of all that as well as growing up learning about every breed and being in dog shows myself. Animals have been my families life at home and for work whether tiny or huge! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was younger and have done everything in the book of what it takes to care for a dog as far as walking, giving them their food and water by the scheduled time, being aware and looking out for any outlying concerns through the dogs behavior, bonding with the dog to give a comfortable setting, bathing them, and simply just showing them love, as any animal deserves the same respect humans get! (: Rover is my only job, I am home 24/7 as someone who is in school online. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. I have 3 of my own, They are a german shepherd, austrailian Shepherd, and a chihuahua. So I do have and active life style with the 2 larger dogs. But my little dog is a couch potato, so I tend to slow things down for him. So no matter how big, small, entergetic, or couch potato they are I can always live up to their lifestyle. I can provide high quality, attentive care tailored to each dog’s unique routine, temperament, enrichment & exercise and medical needs such as administering medications💕 I’ve worked in a doggy daycare/boarding facility as well. From there that’s where I learned how to administer medications. At a young age I would take care of friends and family’s dog’s & cat’s. At the moment I’m have a very flexible due to me not working at the moment. Therefore I can provide options for you and you’re fur babies💕 I have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I love dearly. I feed them every morning and night let them out at least 3-4 times a day but if needed more I have a fence so they can get exercise. I play with them at least two times a day since they’re high-energy.
About: I’ve assisted my aunt during her Rover experience for two years, I’ve rescued and TNR’d neighborhood street cats for two years, and I have an 8 year old dog and a 2 year old dog back in New York! I recently moved to the area and am living with family, so my animals are not with me until I secure independent housing—they are with family that were still in my old area. I’m a full-time college student in graduate school and I work full-time, both of these commitments are virtual. This leaves me relatively free to prioritize the care your loved pets need! I currently am not offering to pet sit in my own home as I currently live with family, but when watching other peoples dogs I take the same precautions as I would with my own dogs as you can never guarantee their behavior and how they respond to situations or other people. I would ensure the environment is safe, and if we go out into the community, I would be aware of my surroundings and take every precaution as if they were my own!

About: Growing up I always wanted a pet for my own and I finally got my first puppy at 10 yrs old. I really think that helped me be responsible. And have so much love for pets I take of my pets like if they were my children. Whenever I have free time I like to help others with there pets. I don’t have a job right now so I can work any hours of the week. Full time would be much better, and preferred I have a flexible schedule. I try to build trust with people pets if they seem uncomfortable I try my best to get them out of their shell but I won’t force them to do anything they don’t want to
About: I’m currently a veterinarian assistant who has a Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Tortishell Kitty, and a cute little bearded dragon. I’m experienced with administering medications and basic grooming. I’m a firm believer that all fur and furless babies deserve love and respect and I treat them all like my very own. I am a full time Veterinarian Assistant during weekdays, but I can still swing by and say hi to the little babies. I can board or home visit anytime during the weekends! I have a fenced in yard and a sweet German Shepherd who LOVES playing with pups and is extremely gentle with kitties. “We needed to board Cotton, our 7-month-old Cock-a-poo for four days while my husband was in the hospital. To say we were apprehensive was a huge understatement! It was our first time boarding him. We picked Scott and Heather from their Profile on Rover and then arranged a “Meet-and-Greet” to assure ourselves that Cotton would be a good fit. Cotton weighs 11 pounds and Scott has larger dogs who turned out to be gentle companions. At this initial meeting, Scott was able to satisfactorily answer every question we had, to include such things as “how do we prevent Cotton from running away since he has to be “on leash” whenever a door is opened?” Or, “How do you plan to feed him since he grazes and he’ll be around the other dogs?” Every question—Answered! And, he was very flexible with our arrival and pick-up schedules, which were hard for us to nail down! From shortly after we dropped Cotton off, Scott sent us pictures of how he was getting along with the family and the family dogs. We began to relax! Over the next couple of days, and with our encouragement, Scott sent multiple pics and even a few videos to show us how our pup was getting along. He showed pics of Cotton with his other dogs, with his family and even a pic of an exhausted Cotton asleep on his lap! We were very grateful! We would be more than happy to leave Cotton with this family again! And we would highly recommend them for your pet’s boarding.”
