About: I have had dogs my whole life ranging from 175 to 50 pounds. My family also breeds dogs so I’m comfortable with all ages. I have dog sat for numerous family and friends and love all animals so your pet will get treated as if they were my own. I’ve also took care of dogs that take medication, are on special diets. I have a full time job but I make my own schedule so I will base that off of my schedule with rover. Pets will be well taken care of and took on walks. If your pet is more laid back and likes to lay around all day then we will do that. If your pet has a lot of energy and like to run the we can do that as well. I have plenty of yard for your pet/pets to play. I currently don’t have any other animals in the house and am waiting for my puppy to be born! About: I’ve grown up with 5-6 dogs always in the household. My mom is a licensed dog breeder, who also shows dogs and has for years as well as myself (2 years of dog showing experience myself, my mom over 20+) . We have shown dogs, groomed them, trained them behaviorally. I’m also available for quick drop-in visits — walks, feeding, water, play, fetch, whatever’s needed. Flexible scheduling works fine for me. I work from home full time so I’m here with them all day. We typically go for three walks a day in addition to play time in the yard and most importantly lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I have a fenced yard where we play fetch, take the sun and play in the sprinklers. Dogs have free reign and are allowed on couches and beds.

About: I sometimes feel like a dog/cat whisper. I have a very calm nature and I think dogs/cats can really pick up on this. I have had animals of my own but could no longer afford the monetary funds it takes to care for dogs and cats. I am a retired active senior citizen and I have a lot of spare time I would love to devote to dog/cat boarding or walking. When I do care for dogs/cats in my home, I try to make sure they feel I care for them and snuggle and hold them, if I am allowed by the animal. I always wait to see if they have sniffed me and that lets me know they are or are not accepting of me.

I work early mornings into the early afternoons (usually around 1-2). So after my work day, I’m home mostly relaxing or working in the yard and engage in lots of hobbies around the house. About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. As someone who has had rodents and taken care of reptiles at Petsmart, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have exotics! I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. About: I’ve had dogs and cats for my whole life! Currently have 3 cats in my home (2 are my moms). I’ve professionally cared for dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, etc! I love them all and am very comfortable with learning about new pets too! I’m able to provide overnight stays in the home since my mom can watch my cat! When caring for a multitude of dogs & cats under the same roof, everyday comes with a morning and nightly routine to make sure everybody is safe and healthy. This tends to consist of feeding, using the bathroom, giving medication, cleaning litter boxes, walking, providing play, and the most important thing; mitigating the peace. Animals can be crazy creatures, and knowing how to do damage control is crucial when dealing with dogs & cats! Less common activities may involve bathing, cutting nails, transporting due to travel, etc. I see every moment that I am with your pet as a chance to connect and provide care. I have a great ability to multi-task and de-escalate if a conflict may occur between two animals and it is extremely easy for me to follow directions accordingly. I would consider myself a compassionate person and don't just want to care for your pets, but fulfill their every need!
About: I’ve assisted my aunt during her Rover experience for two years, I’ve rescued and TNR’d neighborhood street cats for two years, and I have an 8 year old dog and a 2 year old dog back in New York! I recently moved to the area and am living with family, so my animals are not with me until I secure independent housing—they are with family that were still in my old area. I’m a full-time college student in graduate school and I work full-time, both of these commitments are virtual. This leaves me relatively free to prioritize the care your loved pets need! I currently am not offering to pet sit in my own home as I currently live with family, but when watching other peoples dogs I take the same precautions as I would with my own dogs as you can never guarantee their behavior and how they respond to situations or other people. I would ensure the environment is safe, and if we go out into the community, I would be aware of my surroundings and take every precaution as if they were my own!

About: I’m 26 years old and have had pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to earn extra income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Last year, I completed four veterinary assistant courses and hope to begin working in an animal hospital or veterinary office soon. I'm open to long term arrangements for walks and drop ins as well! The first thing I do is take them out for their walk or potty break. Then when we get back inside I give them their treat and then I rinse out their water dish and give them fresh water. Then I do anything else I was asked to do for that specific pet like change puppy pads etc. Then If the pet has toys and likes to play i'll usually play with them for a bit before I leave by throwing their toy or tug of war or whatever they like.
