About: I love everything about animals! When it comes to Cats and Dogs they are such great companions and I truly enjoy seeing an animal that is pleased and satisfied with my care, as well as their owners and I will do everything to make sure that happens, I have had professional experience working for a doggie daycare business. I of course am a pet owner myself and know what its like to have to trust someone else to take care of your beautiful pet. I very much value that trust and and take the time to learn different tricks and techniques to provide the best care possible for any type of dog or cat that I could possibly encounter on a day to day basis. I am sure that I can provide a valuable service to you. I work Part-Time, and I keep a flexible schedule so I will have no issue fitting any commitments into my calendar and I always maintain clear communication. Based on discussions with the client I will give as much attention to the animal as possible during service including playing with or without toys, walks, bathroom breaks, Feeding, Cuddles etc. based on the desire of the animal.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong passion for caring for animals. I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have been dog sitting and providing drop-in visits for family and friends since I was 15 years old. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and genuine love, giving them the same care, attention, and affection I give my own pets. When your furry family member is with me, you can have peace of mind knowing they’ll be safe, happy, and loved as if they were my own. I’m available most weekdays from early morning through late afternoon, offering flexible scheduling to meet your pet’s needs. I chose pet care because it allows me to build a healthier, more balanced lifestyle while doing something I truly love. It also gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my own dog instead of leaving her home alone all day. Caring for animals isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I’ll treat your pet with the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, including large and high-energy dogs. I’m experienced with safely crating dogs when needed and remain calm and confident around every breed. Whether it’s following a specific routine, administering basic care, or providing extra attention, I’m committed to doing whatever is needed to keep your pet safe, healthy, comfortable, and happy. My goal is to earn your trust by caring for your pet as if they were my own.
“Lindsey took SUCH great care of our boys! She sent lots of pics and was so kind during our meet and greet. We instantly felt comfortable with her and will definitely book again! Thank you Lindsey!”

About: Your pet deserves more than someone who simply stops by—they deserve someone who genuinely cares about their well-being. As a Registered Nurse, I’ve built my career around compassion, responsibility, attention to detail, and remaining calm under pressure, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. I have years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, energetic playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll tailor every visit to their individual needs. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, administering oral medications, and providing extra patience and care for anxious or timid pets. Communication is incredibly important to me. During every visit, you’ll receive detailed updates and plenty of photos so you always know exactly how your pet is doing. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is simple: to make your time away completely stress-free while ensuring your pet feels safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship, ensuring pets feel loved and cared for. I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for pets, whether in my home or my client’s. I follow feeding schedules, offer regular walks, playtime, and enrichment activities, and ensure they feel at ease. In clients’ homes, I respect their space while maintaining the pet’s routine, keeping them happy, active, and stress-free.
“This was my first time using Rover and I was very happy that Marianna came over to introduce herself and meet our pets. Her confidence and relaxed personality immediately put us at ease. You can really tell she loves animals and I never worried while we were away. Reliable, trustworthy, and excellent communications!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 years old. I worked at a vet clinic in college and now have 3 dogs of my own. I grew up with both cats and dog and frequently look after friends pets when they’re gone. I have experience with reactive dogs as well. I currently have the summer off so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I am free for drop in visits at any time of day. I have three spoiled dogs of my own currently and have had cats all my life. I aim to make clients comfortable and fulfilled whether it’s a quick potty break or long walk!
“Bayleigh was awesome with our two cats. Our cats are very particular about who takes care of them and are not always the friendliest, but Bayleigh was so patient and gentle with them both. We loved our daily updates and pictures and really appreciated all of the details Bayleigh added about their days. We felt so much better knowing they were in such safe and loving hands.”

“I have a special needs dog and now a sick dog and she was incredible with both. My sick dog would eat for her but not me! She is caring, attentive and all that anyone could need. Thank you Alyssa very much”

“Caitlin was absolutely wonderful! From our very first communication she was professional, personal and kind. She took time to connect with me before we left town and asked all the right questions! I felt at ease during our vacation knowing Caitlin was checking in on our two kitties. She did a great job at sending me photos and updates. I would absolutely recommend her! Looking forward to having Caitlin watch our pets in the future.”

“Great sitter! She worked with my dog who is super scared about everything. She is active and will take your dog on walks. She is good with alarms/other security tech. Would recommend!”

“This was our second time using Bridgette to watch our one dog and cats while we were out of town for a few days. She did a great job taking care of them as instructed and provided great updates and pictures during each visit!”

“Laura is very passionate and excited to help care for my dog! She even helped with our cats which we appreciated so much. We would definitely recommend her to others and would be happy to work with her in the future!”

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was a baby and I truly dont think we dersve how pure and amazing they are. I used to dog sit during highschool for my neighbors and even now when friends go out of town I am always open to have their pup at the house or watch them at theirs. I have trained 3 dogs from 7 weeks old so I am able to help you out at any age pup you have. I will love on them like they are my own and I cant wait :) I have a very flexible schedule which allows me to work from home some days a week. I am never gone for more than 4 hours in a day but can always adjust my schedule if I am watching a dog that cant have me gone long. You tell me your needs and I will work around that. I have one friendly pup of my own named kona and a private fenced in dog park that is normally empty that I bring her to a couple times a day. I usually go on a couple walks a day so I can do as many or as few walks as your pups needs :)

About: I have always loved dogs and have always had one as a part of my family. I give them unlimited access to the house and the furniture, and I would treat your dog the same. I am very relaxed and flexible. I am a graduate student, and when I am not at school I am usually with my dog, Winter, at the dog park or taking him for walks around the neighborhood. I love playing with my dog and I don't believe in locking him up all day. I have dog sat many of my friends and family's pets in the past. Winter always gets along well with other dogs, whether in the house or around the neighborhood. He is very social and I am sure he would love to be friends with your dog.

We couldn't be happier with the care our Sophia provided for our three dogs during our vacation! We have one energetic puppy and two senior dogs, all with very different needs, and they were all cared for with so much patience, love and compassion She kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious our dogs were comfortable, well cared for, and getting lots of affection while we were away. Coming home to three happy, relaxed pups meant everything to us. I highly recommend Sophia to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and attentive. We will definitely be booking with ther again!

So great with Ava, my pup. I was away out of town for several days, and I could tell that my dog was loved on really well because she did not act anxious when I arrived in the door or need for attention. I could tell she had gotten lots of rubs and cuddles. Just what you want for your pup when you’re away.

Gregory & Samantha checked in on my cat, Maximus, while I was on vacation. Max can be spicy, so I always have concerns about how he will act. Even though he was spicy, Samantha was very patient and empathetic with him. I appreciate you both very much, thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
