I’ve pet sat many dogs and cats and even a frog! I love any opportunity to bond with animals and make them loved :) I am a college student, attending Wake Forest University. I am home for the summer and holidays with lots of free time to care for furry friends! I love to play with pets throwing toys, giving lots of love rubs along with making sure to tend to their biological needs. I am very attentive to each pet and stick to all instructions given by their owners. They know them best!
About: I’m all about attention. Giving attention and connecting and being aware of a dogs needs is everything to caring for them and helping them feel safe and loved. I’m attentive to their need for play and rest and I’m focused on compassion and care. Dogs love schedules and whether food driven or play or connection and care, I adjust and take full responsibility for making their life better.
“Angela did an excellent job taking care of my two cats when I was away on work travel. One of my cats required a daily Rx in his wet food which Angela handled without issue. Every day I was provided a full report on what she did and how they were doing and she also included pictures! Being so far from home, knowing that your family is being taken care of puts you at such ease. I highly recommend Angela's services and hope to utilize her again moving forward. Thanks Angela : )”

“Eleanor was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of our cat, Perry, while we were away at the beach. She was so flexible and gracious when there was a mix-up with our address, and she handled everything with such kindness and patience. Perry adored her, and we loved how attentive and communicative she was throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring.”

About: I have taken care of neighbors and friends dogs since a young age. I have been surrounded by pets my whole life. I’m certified in belly rubs and cuddle bugs! I’m currently taking some time off of work and have an extremely open and flexible schedule. I’m happy to work around your schedule to fit your needs. All pets are different and have different requirements. I’m here to make your life a little easier. I’m ready to adapt to you and your pets personal needs and special care instructions. I also believe in respecting other people’s space and boundaries and make that a top priority.
About: Let me provide your dog with a home away from home :) — I treat every pup like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, playtime, or just some snuggles, I try to match their personality and needs. I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds — from high to low energy. I’m big on routines, communication, and making sure pet parents never feel out of the loop. You’ll always get updates and pictures so you can see how your pup’s doing. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is happy, cared for, and in good hands. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pup throughout the day. I can do multiple walks a day, stick to your preferred schedule, and give your dog lots of attention and playtime. I live in a very walk-friendly neighborhood with a large dog park, which is perfect for getting in some fresh air and exercise! I only board potty-trained dogs to keep things clean and comfortable for everyone. I do have a medium-sized crate available if you prefer your dog to have their own space at night instead of free roaming. My main priority is keeping your pet safe, happy, and relaxed while you’re away. I make sure they get the care, love, and attention they need in a calm and comfortable environment.
“AnnaMarie is an awesome sitter! Highly recommend. Took great care of our senior JRT while away on a weekend trip. Would be honored to have her help take care of Ralphie again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with extensive professional and personal experience in pet care. I previously owned and operated my own pet daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. In addition to running a facility, I’ve spent many years caring for my own pets, as well as rescuing and fostering animals in need. Working with rescues has given me experience with shy, anxious, and high-needs dogs — and taught me patience, structure, and how to build trust. I’m comfortable administering medications, managing feeding schedules, supervising play, and maintaining consistent routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities, and I treat every animal like family. I am able to accommodate morning and evening potty breaks, playtime, walks and meals as I do have a full-time job where I will be gone from 7:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday but I have large kennels available if pets are needed to be crated and a designated dog room where they can be left out comfortably. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. My home features a fully fenced-in yard for secure outdoor play and is located in a sidewalk-friendly neighborhood for safe, structured walks. I have three friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own, and I always conduct slow, controlled introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Feeding times are handled separately to prevent food guarding or stress, and crating options are available if requested or if a dog feels more secure with their own space. For additional peace of mind, I also utilize camera monitoring when needed to ensure safety at all times. My goal is to provide a calm, structured, and cozy environment where every pet feels safe and cared for.

About: I’ve had dogs (and cats and even a bird) for as long as I can remember! I spent a summer working at a doggy day care place and have interacted with all kinds of dogs! My mom’s dog that I’ve had since my childhood has kidney disease and requires extra attention with food and medicine, so I have experience with dogs that have specific needs. I would love to help care for your dogs! I’m currently working on my Masters and have a flexible schedule apart from classes, so I would love to fill my time with some pups during the week! I would love to work with you on scheduling to make sure your pups are taken care of! I love spending time with dogs in whatever way they most prefer! I love to take them on walks or sit on the couch with them and give them belly rubs!

We did drop in visits and when we return home, she left everything clean and in order this was my first time using Rover and I could not have asked for a better experience.”

Keagan was excellent with our two pups Bandit and Lil Man. She did exactly what we asked of her. I loved the photos she took to always assure us the boys were doing well. Would highly recommend her to anyone. Wish we could give her 10 stars. The boys loved her! *We did leave a cash tip*

Kathryn was great! She was able to help out at the last minute to watch my two dogs. One of them is a senior pup who has a little trouble walking and seeing sometimes. He also gets medicine twice a day. She took excellent care of my babies and they absolutely loved her!

Elaina was awesome! We have a very large German Shepherd (King Shepherd - 135 lbs). And she wasn’t phased a bit. She was so warm and personable. The dog took to her immediately. She was professional and detailed oriented. Always on time and wa super reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend Elaina!

Patti is absolutely fantastic! Our dog is very anxious and had a very big reaction the first night (even though we did a meet and greet). He went a little wild and Patti didn’t even blink an eye. Patti took complete control of the situation and was cool, calm and collected and was able to win him over with a lot of patience! I appreciate how proactive she was in communication, the detail to take care of our babies, and the hilarious report cards. All around a wonderful experience and can’t recommend Patti enough 🙌

Kerry is AMAZING!!! She was a last-minute hire for us, as our normal dog sitter backed out last minute... But Kerry went above and beyond our expectations! She came over early to meet Chip so he could get acclimated with her, confirmed what we were requesting of her, and daily sent us pictures and fun little summaries of what she and Chip did for the day! We have found our new dog sitter, and we recommend her services with the utmost confidence!

Had a last minute trip that Eva was available for and she was great! Very thorough, leaving pictures and detailed messages about each visit. My dog was on meds during my trip and she followed the instructions for each visit perfectly. Came home and my place was in great shape, exactly the way I left it. Would def recommend and use her again ❤️.
Sara was absolutely wonderful taking care of our pets. I came home to very happy and well taken care of animals. It was nice to go on vacation and not have any worries on whether the animals were ok or not. I highly recommend Sara to anyone, she is a very caring and professional person

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
