“I was stuck in a difficult situation and not only was Gillian super communicative and understanding, she was willing to work with me to make sure my dog was taken care of and was so patient and kind! She's been wonderful and would definitely book again!”

“Thank you for taking great care of Crash while we had a long day. He always appreciates the cuddles and playing fetch - or at least getting the carrots after he pretends to fetch. Thank you!”
“Paulina was great. She took care of our girls while we were away. Very responsive and sent her check-ins when she was arriving and leaving. Loved that she communicated how they weee doing on each visit. Will definitely use Paulina again.”

About: I have had pets my whole life and still currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a Guinea pig. I have been responsible for cleaning up after them, grooming, playing, and providing their medicine when needed. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and have gained knowledge about different temperaments and personalities when working with the many dogs. Also in my time during high school I was one of the more reliable animal caregivers within the students. I am currently on summer break from college and I am available during most of the summer and would love to spend time with your pets while you take a nice vacation with the family! I spend lots of time with my pets at home and make sure they get the loving that they need. We cuddle, play, and even nap together. Within a clients home I would be happy to adjust and give the animal the cuddles they need or tug of war they want.
“Jennifer did an amazing job caring for our puppy for a few days. She was professional, timely, and kept us updated throughout the visit. It’s clear she’s experienced and genuinely loves animals — we will absolutely be using her again!”

About: I have a shih tzu of my own who is 16 yrs old, which has allowed me to get comfortable with dogs. I have taken care of many of my friends, family, and neighbors’ pets. I’ve pet sat many dogs and cats and even a frog! I love any opportunity to bond with animals and make them loved :) I am a college student, attending Wake Forest University. I am home for the summer and holidays with lots of free time to care for furry friends! I love to play with pets throwing toys, giving lots of love rubs along with making sure to tend to their biological needs. I am very attentive to each pet and stick to all instructions given by their owners. They know them best!
“10 stars would be perfect! Katie was on time, sent lots of updates and took great pictures of our cat every day. We didn’t have to worry about her once because we knew she was in good hands!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets, a dog and two cats. Pet sitting for my neighbors and watching my friend’s pets. I love animals and I hope they love me! I’m currently in school but my schedule is flexible, although most times I can’t do overnights. I’m available most to the entire day on weekends. I love to work on holiday breaks, whenever I’m free. I am very communicative about any pop up issues or schedule conflicts. I deescalate situations immediately with my cats whenever they fight. I’m good with separating problems but prefer to not work with aggressive or just mean animals.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since my early teens. I have a strong passion for dogs and love to care for them. I am very accustomed to dogs with behavior issues and bad anxiety because my own dog struggles with that. I can also handle both small and large dogs. I love taking my dogs on walks and also occasionally will find an easy trail to hike on with them. I would love to bring your dogs on nearby trails or stick to easy walks based on the dogs energy levels. I do stay overnight and house sit if requested. I’m currently working part time (short hours 2 days a week) so i’ll have plenty of time to play with and look after your pups! I unfortunately cannot care for your dogs at my own home because one of my dogs is not friendly towards other dogs, but I am more than happy to watch your dogs at your home! I can stay overnight with your dog if requested.
“Kaela was great! My cat is a little shy around new people but warmed up to Kaela very quickly. She took excellent care of my cat while I was away and sent detailed updates and plenty of pictures.”

About: I’ve had dogs (and cats and even a bird) for as long as I can remember! I spent a summer working at a doggy day care place and have interacted with all kinds of dogs! My mom’s dog that I’ve had since my childhood has kidney disease and requires extra attention with food and medicine, so I have experience with dogs that have specific needs. I would love to help care for your dogs! I’m currently working on my Masters and have a flexible schedule apart from classes, so I would love to fill my time with some pups during the week! I would love to work with you on scheduling to make sure your pups are taken care of! I love spending time with dogs in whatever way they most prefer! I love to take them on walks or sit on the couch with them and give them belly rubs!
“Chenelle was great and a life saver. We needed a sitter at the last minute and she made it so easy. We met the same day Inboxed her and she took amazing care of our pets. We did drop in visits and when we return home, she left everything clean and in order this was my first time using Rover and I could not have asked for a better experience.”

“Lily was fantastic as usual!! She communicates so well throughout our vacation and everything is perfect when we return. Our dogs can’t wait to see her again in a few weeks!”

“I needed someone on very short notice and Eleanor was kind enough to take the job. She was prompt and spent extra time with my dog. Communication was great. Would definitely hire again!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. My mom previously co-founded a dog rescue in New Hampshire, and I grew up helping with foster dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Through that experience, I learned how to work with shy and nervous dogs, high energy breeds, and everything in between. I’m very comfortable with large and strong dogs. I have a Newfoundland, German Shepherd, and Husky of my own so I understand the structure, consistency, and exercise they need. Whether your dog is big, small, young, or senior, I can confidently provide safe, attentive care. My experience includes walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and of course lots of love and attention. I’m dependable, motivated, and flexible, and I treat every dog like my own. Your pup will receive patient, responsible, loving care every visit. Weekend walks and drop-ins available! Weekday visits can often be arranged with advance notice. I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Safety, structure, and communication are my top priorities. I use secure leashing practices, remain attentive on walks, and follow all feeding and care instructions precisely. I respect your home and ensure your pup feels comfortable, safe, and cared for every visit!
About: Experienced dog owner with two of my own senior citizens. Very experienced with specialized diets, pet meds, and the all-important cheese tax. I have a soft spot for older pups who enjoy taking their time on walks. I will never rush a good sniff! I'm a PhD student working part time over the summer. I can be a morning person to beat the heat and save your pups paws and make lunch runs in the Raleigh area when needed. I am a mature adult who knows how to respect your pets and your home. Rest assured I will treat your home like my own and leave it better than I found it.
“Really glad we chose Rachel to be our first Rover sitter ever; she was punctual, communicated with us during her visits, and went above and beyond playing with our pup even though all she needed was to be let outside to pee. Couldn’t recommend her more highly! Would definitely hire her again.”

“Fantastic stay! My husband and I are always nervous being away from our three dogs, but with Becky's help we were able to have a worry free wedding and honeymoon. She kept us up-to-date every visit, and always sent us the cutest pictures of each dog. Our dogs love her! Becky is truly a rare find, and we are so happy we were lucky to find her! We will certainly be booking her again!!”

Elaina was awesome! We have a very large German Shepherd (King Shepherd - 135 lbs). And she wasn’t phased a bit. She was so warm and personable. The dog took to her immediately. She was professional and detailed oriented. Always on time and wa super reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend Elaina!

Patti is absolutely fantastic! Our dog is very anxious and had a very big reaction the first night (even though we did a meet and greet). He went a little wild and Patti didn’t even blink an eye. Patti took complete control of the situation and was cool, calm and collected and was able to win him over with a lot of patience! I appreciate how proactive she was in communication, the detail to take care of our babies, and the hilarious report cards. All around a wonderful experience and can’t recommend Patti enough 🙌

Kerry is AMAZING!!! She was a last-minute hire for us, as our normal dog sitter backed out last minute... But Kerry went above and beyond our expectations! She came over early to meet Chip so he could get acclimated with her, confirmed what we were requesting of her, and daily sent us pictures and fun little summaries of what she and Chip did for the day! We have found our new dog sitter, and we recommend her services with the utmost confidence!

Had a last minute trip that Eva was available for and she was great! Very thorough, leaving pictures and detailed messages about each visit. My dog was on meds during my trip and she followed the instructions for each visit perfectly. Came home and my place was in great shape, exactly the way I left it. Would def recommend and use her again ❤️.
Sara was absolutely wonderful taking care of our pets. I came home to very happy and well taken care of animals. It was nice to go on vacation and not have any worries on whether the animals were ok or not. I highly recommend Sara to anyone, she is a very caring and professional person
