Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs with a variety of personalities, ages, and routines, and I always make it a priority to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. In the past year, I’ve also had the opportunity to host dogs from a local kennel for weekend stays, which has been a rewarding experience and has helped me gain even more hands-on experience caring for dogs in my home. Even on office days, my short commute allows me to return home quickly and maintain a consistent schedule for feeding, exercise, and attention. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, two-bedroom townhouse that provides a calm and welcoming environment for visiting dogs. While I don't have a large backyard, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and enrichment through regular walks around my neighborhood and nearby communities, as well as visits to local parks. I always follow each pet's routine and owner's instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.
“This was our first time using Miriam to board our fur baby Pepper for the weekend. We were a little nervous since we had a regular sitter for years until we moved a couple months ago. She helped us have peace of mind by showing us where our dog would be staying as well as asking us questions that would help her to care for Pepper. Miriam was very transparent and also introduced us to her doggie 🐶. Everything went smoothly and she kept us updated throughout the weekend. We were also pleasantly surprised that our dog was not as nervous as we thought she would be and was able to adapt quickly. Definitely recommend Miriam and will be using her services again.”

Our dogs have been with us 24/7 for most of their lives, so I was honestly super anxious about even trying a day of daycare—especially since we just moved to North Carolina from Idaho and don’t have a local network for trusted referrals yet. The day went wonderfully! Our dogs were so happy and relaxed when we picked them up. Bryan sent photos and updates throughout the day, which completely eased my anxiety. The facility is immaculately clean, with a huge fenced yard where the dogs can run and play. Bryan is incredibly attentive and makes sure each dog feels comfortable and safe. He’s also very transparent and just a genuinely kind human being. We feel so lucky to have found him and couldn’t recommend him more highly!”

About: My fiance Eric and I have had dogs our whole lives and genuinely enjoy caring for animals, going on walks and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. We are available to take your pet/pets for walks multiple times a day, give them the attention they need, while offering them loving care throughout the day. We have a few greenways in our area where we will take your dog out for long walks. We have a small 15 pound Dachshund that loves company. Your dogs will be free to roam around the house with available food, water, and comfort.

Leaving our Ollie with Kerri for the 7 days we were out of town was the BEST decision we could have possibly made. She is super easy to communicate with. She has studied animal behaviors so I knew that no matter how many dogs she had (it was the 4th of July week-busy!) she would make the right decisions with how to handle our girl. She would send pictures and videos so we could see our girl. Kerri is very professional yet extremely easy to talk to and oh so friendly. Just use her-she’s the best. We didn’t know if Ollie would want to come back home to us bc she had so much fun at Kerri’s! Ha!
Kimberly, Dustin and their son are amazing! They took such great care of our Aussie and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They sent lots of photos, walked, played and snuggled with our dog as if she was their own. They have a Aussie named scout who got along with Lily great and helped get her energy out. They were super accommodating for our early departure and late arrival which we truly appreciated. Again can’t recommend this family enough for watching your dog we will be rebooking them in the near future!
