I work from home, so I am home most of the day. The dogs will spend the day playing inside and outside, taking naps, sunbathing, playing with toys, and chewing on bones.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, two other personal dogs, usually 1 foster dog, two cats, and two kids. For everyone's safety, all dogs are usually crated when I'm not home but if they would prefer to stay out of crate, that is fine too.

I have worked in animal hospitals, been responsible for overseeing vet care for a collection of over 200 animals, and have given almost every kind of medication available to pets, administered any way.
A typical day
Our cherished visitors will play outside and inside with our playful dogs, throughout the day, if that's their thing. If they aren't very playful, they can explore the yard, sunbathe chew on bones, get lots of love!

Owned and operated a very successful pet care business in the Wake Forest area for the past ten years, Take A Break Pet Care (check out my FB page, it is still up). Currently, I am the Assistant Manager for Bone-A-Fide Pet Care based in Raleigh, NC. I take care of the administration side of the business. I work remotely and am home most of the time. I have my degree in Animal Behavior and Animal Training from Moorpark College's Exotic Animal Training and Management Program. After graduation, I trained animals for the entertainment industry in Los Angeles for years.
Reviews

Kerri was great and easy to work with. Will definitely use their family again. Very friendly and very loving!!

Leaving our Ollie with Kerri for the 7 days we were out of town was the BEST decision we could have possibly made. She is super easy to communicate with. She has studied animal behaviors so I knew that no matter how many dogs she had (it was the 4th of July week-busy!) she would make the right decisions with how to handle our girl. She would send pictures and videos so we could see our girl. Kerri is very professional yet extremely easy to talk to and oh so friendly. Just use her-she’s the best. We didn’t know if Ollie would want to come back home to us bc she had so much fun at Kerri’s! Ha!
Kerri was awesome to work with. I normally keep my dogs in my home when we go out of town and I had my reservations about taking them out of their normal environment. But I will say going to Kerri's house was a great experience for my fur babies. She was very knowledgeable about my dogs personalities during the meet and greet and welcomed them in her home with lots of love. She communicated with me daily and sent tons of pictures to ensure me that my babies were having a great time. I truly appreciate all her hard work and dedication to making them feel like her own fur babies. I would highly recommend Kerri to anyone who needs a safe and loving home for their babies. I will definitely use her again.

Thanks so much Kerri! Appreciate the pictures or videos or my buddy. I can tell he had a great time with you and your family. Look forward to booking with you again soon!
