I have more than 12 years of hands-on dog care experience, including fostering and running a nonprofit dog rescue. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities, from energetic puppies to seniors and dogs with medical, mobility, or sensory needs. I’m comfortable with medications, special care routines, crate training, puppies, shy dogs, and dogs who simply need a little extra patience. I tailor care to the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to fit the same routine.

You could not ask for a better dog sitter or walker than Nicole. She cares for all of my dogs when I need extra help, and 2 of my dogs need special care. One dog has neurological issues and Nicole is patient and loving with him, getting him to trust her as much as he does me. She is well organized, timely and patient and her love of pets shows no measure. She always keeps my dogs safe, healthy and feeling loved and I could not ask for more! Nicole has been a pet sitter for my pack of 5 large breed, not always easy, dogs. Schedule
Pet care is already part of my everyday routine. I run a nonprofit dog rescue part time, and my schedule is built around caring for animals. I only go into the office on some weekdays, and when I do, I’m there for part of the day rather than a full workday. My flexible schedule allows plenty of time for exercise, attention, meals, potty breaks, and maintaining your dog’s normal routine.

Safety and comfort are always my priorities. Boarding dogs do not stay inside my main living space. They stay in a dedicated boarding area attached to my home, with its own entrance. The space is heated, air-conditioned, secure, and camera monitored. My home is surrounded by woods and has a fully fenced 2-acre yard, giving dogs plenty of safe space for supervised potty breaks, play, exploring, and exercise. I tailor each dog’s stay to their individual needs, including feeding schedules, medications, activity level, and whether they enjoy time with other dogs or prefer their own space.

A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of outdoor time in my fully fenced 2-acre yard, with potty breaks, play, exploring, and time to just enjoy being outside. Between outings, dogs relax in the climate-controlled boarding area for meals, naps, enrichment, and downtime, with DogTV playing throughout the day for a little extra entertainment. I adjust the day to each dog’s age, energy level, and personality. Active dogs can enjoy more play and outdoor time, while seniors and lower-energy dogs can take things at their own pace. The goal is a comfortable balance of activity, rest, enrichment, and individual attention.

- Before boarding, I like to know your dog’s normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any medical or special care needs. Please also share anything that will help me make their stay comfortable, including anxiety, escape tendencies, resource guarding, or other behavioral quirks. For everyone’s safety, all boarding dogs must be up to date on vaccines, and proof is required before their stay. Please let me know how your dog does with other dogs. Dogs do not need to be dog-social to board with me, and I’m happy to provide separate play and outdoor time when needed.
