Hi y’all! We’re Jeremy and Lauren, proud Rover Star Sitters and currently one of the top-rated dog sitting families in our area. We’ve spent years caring for dogs in our community and work closely with local rescues, giving us experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Between our own dogs and the foster pups we regularly welcome, we have extensive hands-on experience helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. We currently share our home with two children and three dogs ranging from 4 pounds to 165 pounds, so we’re comfortable with everything from tiny toy breeds to giant breeds, playful puppies to senior dogs. Our children have grown up around dogs and are taught to respect their space, and all interactions are closely supervised. We maintain structured routines for feeding, exercise, rest, and play, creating a calm environment where dogs can settle in and feel at home. We have a large, fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and strive to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means sleeping in a crate, lounging on the couch, or enjoying daily walks, we want every stay to feel familiar and stress free. Many of our clients become repeat clients, and we love building lasting relationships with both pups and their people. Our home is best suited for dogs who are comfortable around children and other dogs. If you have a larger pack than our listed limit or aren’t sure whether your dog would be a good fit, feel free to reach out. We’re always happy to chat. We know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Every guest is treated like part of the family, and we’d love the opportunity to welcome your pup into our pack.

Cinnamon had a fantastic time with Jeremy and the whole family while we were on a trip. I loved the photo updates seeing all of the fun the dogs were having together. He was well loved and looked after.
Jeremy was very communicative while watching our dog Yoshi. He sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the week and we felt good knowing he was in such good hands while we were out of town. We will definitely be re booking and using Jeremy again in the future.
Jeremy and Lauren took excellent care of pepper for a brief overnight stay. Jeremy was very communicative and easy to work with.

Zeitplan
Every day is built around the dogs in our care. Mornings start with breakfast, potty breaks, and outdoor play or a walk before the North Carolina heat kicks in. Throughout the day, guests have plenty of opportunities to relax inside, explore the yard, play with friends if they enjoy it, or simply hang out with us. We adjust each dog’s routine to match their personality and energy level. Some pups spend the day chasing tennis balls, while others are happiest curled up on the couch or following us from room to room. We do our best to maintain the schedule they’re used to at home, including feeding times, medications, crate routines, and any special requests. Evenings are all about winding down with family time, dinner, one last potty break, and a comfortable night’s sleep. Our goal is for every dog to feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you enjoy yours.

Dogs are welcomed as part of our home and have access to our main living areas, just as they would in a typical family setting. We follow your dog’s established routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, activity levels, and any house rules or preferences. Safety and supervision are always our priority. Dogs are closely monitored indoors and outdoors, with supervised play in our fully fenced backyard and calm downtime inside. Most days include a mix of structured activity and rest, whether that’s relaxing on the couch or enjoying outdoor play.

A typical day includes a healthy mix of activity and downtime, tailored to each dog’s energy level and needs. For our more active guests, we enjoy daily walks when weather permits, and we’re lucky to live next to well-lit, paved walking trails with no busy roads, making them safe and enjoyable for dogs of all sizes. Between walks, dogs enjoy supervised outdoor play in our fully fenced backyard, enrichment through play and interaction, and plenty of time to relax indoors. Whether your dog prefers neighborhood walks, backyard play, or couch naps, we make sure their day feels familiar, fun, and well balanced.
