About: Growing up, we've always had dogs. They were large dogs (great danes) for the most part, but I've dog sat for quite a few friends with smaller dogs as well. I love dogs, and rarely have I met a dog that didn't like me, but it was usually out of shyness. I know how to be respectful of the dogs while always being firm when needed. I will ensure that any dog I meet has the best experience I can provide. I work part-time in the afternoons, but otherwise, my schedule is open to coming and checking in on your pets and tending to their needs. I will care for your pets with whatever you have provided at your house, and I will follow whatever instructions are particular to them. I do not generally clean the pets, but if they make a mess, I will ensure that you come home to a clean house.
“Bethany is amazing! I have a puppy and she handles him with such love and care. She is great with training and teaching him commands, she’s always on time, she leaves me great feedback, takes videos and photos of the little man and overall so loving and kind. She even bought him a toy broccoli which is now his favorite toy! Thank you for taking such good care of my puppy!”

About: Hi, I’m Dillon! I’ve been taking care of dogs for a while now through my own dog walking clients, and I’ve built a routine around being consistent, on time, and really paying attention to each dog’s needs. I’m very active, so I enjoy longer walks and playtime, but I also understand when a dog just needs a calm, comfortable environment. I’ve worked with different energy levels and personalities, and I always try to match how the dog naturally acts. I also keep owners updated with photos and quick check-ins so you’re never wondering how things are going. My goal is simple: make your dog feel safe and make you feel confident leaving them with me. I’m currently in school during the mornings, but I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I already work with a few regular dog walking clients, so I’m used to sticking to consistent schedules and being on time. I have a flexible routine and can adjust to your dog’s normal schedule for walks, feeding, and care. When boarding, I have a large fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and get their energy out. I also have two friendly dogs who are used to being around others, but I always introduce dogs slowly to make sure everyone is comfortable. I keep a close eye on all dogs at all times and can separate them if needed. I follow each dog’s routine carefully, including feeding and any special instructions. I also send regular updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.
“Hannah has been fantastic with my pups! I really appreciate her being available for last minute drop ins and short strolls in the neighborhood. I highly recommend her!!”

About: I enjoy walking dogs around the neighborhood and don't mind administering medicine when needed. I have given my own cat injections daily for diabetes and pills as well. I work from home and live in Clayton, so I have the flexibility to visit animals on any given day. I have flexibility mornings and evenings. I have 2 indoor and 2 outdoor cats of my own. I'm comfortable walking dogs and playing with them inside and outside. I'm happy to take your dog to the dog park if you're comfortable with them being in my car.

About: I have always grown up with at least one pet in my household. I lost my Bichon Frisé of 15 years in October of 2019. It was really tough on my family and I because for the last five years of his life, he was a special needs dog. Because of this, I have first hand experience with insulin injections, pill giving, and post-operational care taking. In February of 2020, we welcomed a black labradoodle puppy named Millie into our family. She is very energetic and friendly with other dogs. In August of 2020, we also welcomed Millie's baby brother from a different litter, Jack. In my house I will have two dogs at all times so any other dog I am blessed to look after will need to be familiar with other dogs. As you can tell, I live a very dog-friendly lifestyle. I work as a retail manager at a dog grooming salon 4-5 days a week. With enough notice, I can dedicate days to caring for your pup! I have my own car for transportation which I can use to take dogs to parks or other locations at the owners request. I have a large fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and a separate area with a fenced in pool. I like to keep water out at all times for my own dogs and they get fed twice a day. I am able to follow different feeding schedules for each individual dog.
“Lauren was great with my pup and 3 cats. Very punctual and provided notes and pictures of my pets while we were gone. I would highly recommend and will be booking with her again!”

About: I have loved and cared for pets of all kinds, sizes, and ages. I am well-attuned to the specific needs of any animal- all I ask is that you communicate those needs ahead of time so we can both discuss how to make sure your pet has a great time. Also happy to take care of any plant care/mail collection/etc. while you're away. For those seeking dog walking- I am experienced with large, high-energy, or nervous dogs. I can't wait to meet your pet(s)! I work part time out of the house in short stints- not longer than five hours at a time when I am staying with a pet. All my other work and school can be done from the home so your pet is not left alone for long periods. I love to play and snuggle with pets. I know some pets may be wary of strangers- I will give them the time and space to warm up to me. Please let me know how I can best care for your pet and home.

“Bridgette took excellent care of our 3 cats for a week! She came by twice a day since my oldest cat is on medication, kept me in the loop of any issues, and made sure to check in on my other very shy cat so she could deliver her food wherever she was hiding. She also sent pictures of our cats daily that my kids (and I) loved getting. As a very “extra” cat-mom and Vet Tech I am particular about my pets care, and I would recommend Bridgette to anyone and will use her services again when needed. Thanks Bridgette!”
“Allyssa provided detailed updates with photos while we were on vacation. It was easy to relax knowing our fur babies were being looked after with love and care. We will definitely use again for trips and highly recommend!”

“Erin was incredible! Very communicative and clearly cares about animals. She watched my cat while I was out of town for a week and provided great updates/photos the entire time I was away. It felt great being on vacation knowing that my cat was being so well taken care of. Could not recommend Erin highly enough! Will absolutely be using her again in the future.”

About: I have a lot of love and care to give your pets and will treat them like my own. I do truly enjoy pet companionship throughout the day, especially as a remote worker. I have a lot of in-house petsitting/housesitting experience (through TrustedHousesitters) which included daily walks for dogs, feeding, playtime, administering meds, snuggles and affection. I prefer to sit cats and small dogs. Day to day, I’m a cat mom to Stuart — a playful little floof that brightens up my home. I am self employed and work remotely from home, thus my schedule is flexible. I am available for overnight sits or out of town sits. While caring for pets in your home, I send frequent communication and photos. I would treat your home as my own, making sure not to leave any messes and clean up after your pet if/when necessary. I'm respectful and quiet.
Clayton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kimberly did a fabulous job taking care of our beagle babies. They loved her and enjoyed their time with her. She made us and the babies feel at ease. We knew they were well taken care of because she takes her pet sitting duties seriously. We will definitely reach out to Kimberly in the future. We highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
I was a little nervous to use a new dog sitter for my 2 big dogs but right away Cody stood out from the rest. He came over to meet Zuko and Krypto and I was immediately was at ease. It was obvious Cody was a natural fit for them. Cody dropped in while we were on vacation, gave me daily report cards and pictures of the dogs which I really appreciated. I know the dogs loved him! It was nice to not worry about them while we were gone! We will definitely be using Cody again, thank you!
