“Scott was amazing to work with. He met us twice before we left our dog, as we were hesitant to leave him with someone new. He instantly put us, and our dog, at ease. During the 49! Days we left our dog with him we received so many photos and updates. We truly felt that our dog was loved and cared for. Thanks Scott!!”

“Renee and her family did a amazing job watching my sweet girl! I felt the instant comfort walking into her home and being around them! I usually go with a vet or a boarder when going out of town but since I was going for a whole week I wanted something more personable and I couldn’t of found a better match! The amount of pics and videos I received made me feel so good seeing Remy having such a great time. They treated her like family, I will definitely be booking again!”

“Suzanne was awesome. I would highly recommend her watching over your pets. She kept in contact with me throughout the day and sent me pictures of my puppy. I could tell that my puppy really enjoyed his time with her. She deserves 10 stars 🌟”

“The family was amazing. I had a last minute travel for work and was able to work with Rajita. My Finnegan had so much fun playing with their pup as well. Will for sure book again!”
“Andrew was great! My dog took an instant liking to him. He communicated with me throughout the weekend and sent me pictures, which I appreciated so much. I will definitely use him again!!”

“I've tried several Rover dog sitters and Alcino is the best. They take your dog in as one of the family. No spending long hours in a crate. Just jump in and feel at home.”

“Meredith was so easy to work with! Highly recommend! Our dogs had their extra special holiday separation anxiety and Meredith was so sweet and caring to them. She really took time to ensure they were settling in as well as possible and kept in contact with us about their behavior.”

“Sharon took great care of our two pups. She sent pictures and updates daily. Sharon communicated with me clearly while I was away and made special arrangements for us to pick up the dogs when the weather forecast was bad to pick up the following day. I highly recommend Sharon for boarding dogs.”

“I have to admit, I had never used rover it was last minute. My usual boarders we're full, but i came across Valerie and her profile made me take that chance. Im so glad i did she was amazing! She sent pics everyday, she made my trip more relaxed and i was at ease. I will use her services again my dogs loved her.”

“Angelina and Spencer were great! They watched our pup during the Winter Storm and that was a huge weight off of our shoulders. They took Tia for walks, sent pics, and when she returned home she was peaceful and relaxed which is a good indicator that she was in a healthy environment.”

“Hilary took great care of my dog! She was very communicative and flexible when I need some scheduling changes as well. Will definitely be using her as a sitter again!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things! My dogs had a blast and came back exhausted. She keeps you updated and treats them like family. Will absolutely use her in all our future needs.”
“Kourtney once again along with the help of her family took excellent care of my babies this weekend! Even with challenges, changes in days, unexpected pup behavior issues, and my inability to get them to her, she was able to arrange for them to be picked up and taken to her home! So grateful I can relax and know they are well cared for while we are away. Thank you again Kourtney and family!”

“I can't say enough good things about Luis! He took amazing care of my dog while I was away. My pup usually gets a little anxious when I'm gone, but with Luis, he was calm and happy the whole time. Luis sent regular updates and pictures, which gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in great hands. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure that pets are comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend Luis to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter!”

“Monica was amazing! Very kind and flexible. I made mistakes and on top of that we ran into traffic on way back that wasn’t expected. Never once did we feel like she wouldn’t understand or made to feel bad. We could tell from our our pup was all day today that he was very active with Monica. We will definitely use her again next time we need to find somewhere safe where he will receive the love he is use to receiving from our family.”

“Gretchen is Wonderful! I was not sure what I was going to do because the usual sitter was not available. From the meet and greet and forward, Gretchen made me comfortable as I watched her with her dogs and mine. My pup is tiny so I am always cautious when he is with larger dogs which hers were under 40 lbs but my pup is only 9 lbs and he is a senior dog. Gretchen communicated well and provided excellent service! Her family was good with my pup. I can’t express how grateful I am to have found Gretchen! She is Outstanding!”

“Dominique is awesome! I was worried about leaving my dog because he has dog dementia. This is a recent diagnosis and I was concerned how he would do in a new place with a new person, but he did well. Dominique was patient with him and supportive. She communicated with me and kept me informed with how he was doing. I definitely recommend her!!!”

About: We have raised 4 dogs of our own from puppies (two of which who have passed away from old age) and have experience with special needs. We have bottle fed one puppy. One of our current dogs is deaf and partially blind, so we are used to that as well. Several dogs that have stayed with us over the years have severe anxiety, so we are used to that as well. Ken works from home, so is available to let anyone out for potty breaks or playtime in the yard. We also live three houses up from the greenway, which is a great place for walks and runs. There is a little creek to get in for when it is really hot! With three teenagers in the house, there will be plenty of people to fight over who gets to snuggle and sleep with them when it's time for that! We have a fenced-in yard and will treat your baby just like ours! We have used all kinds of leashes, harnesses, easy-leaders, so we should be familiar with whatever system you have in place and will follow whatever schedule you have! None of our dogs currently use a crate, but we still have one of ours and are used to crate training.
“I cannot recommend Ashley and her girls highly enough- best dog sitters ever!! Arriving for drop off we were greeted with a custom welcome sign which was the sweetest thing ever. They took the such good care of our noodle we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home with us! Ashley and her girls made sure he felt right at home and I have no doubt he was sooo loved on. . They made sure he got ample play time and walks. They provided us with regular updates and photos. It was such a relief to know our pup was with a family that loved and cared for him like Ashley and her girls do! He will definitely be back!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rolesville
We had a wonderful experience with Monica! Their home and property were perfect for dogs, with plenty of space to play and explore. They were very responsive throughout the stay, keeping us updated and making communication easy. Most importantly, our dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We felt completely at ease knowing our pet was in such great hands. We would definitely book with them again!

We love when Katie watches our doggie. We know she is well taken care of, comfortable, and gets lots of attention! Even when we have had to change our pets diet, or start new medications- Katie never misses a beat. We love getting picture updates when we are away. Thank you!!

Mauricio and Dayra were fantastic dog sitters for our Moose. They sent many photos during his two day stay and their sweet Fiona was a great companion for Moose. All the pictures sent during the stay were a great way to see that the Moose was getting great care and was having fun. I highly recommend Mauricio and Dayra for your dog daycare or boarding needs.
My little Lilly had a wonderful time with Scott and Heather and their children. She had so much love that I'm sure she hated to leave. Scott was very good at introducing Lilly to the other dogs. They sent videos showing them playing and running outside. I was able to enjoy my vacation without a single worry, knowing she was being taken well care of and loved.

Suzanne and her family are ideal Rover sitters--so welcoming, caring, and communicative. We received frequent updates and pictures of our dog while we were away, and were thankful to have found such a kind and responsible family to care for Roux while we traveled. We plan to book with Suzanne again!

Angelina was responsive and very communicative in letting me know what was going on with my dog in her care. Even though it ultimately didn't work out (due to severe separation anxiety with my dog) Angelina kept me looped in with respect to my travel schedule and notified me to come and get my dog before I left town. I am grateful for her timely response. I would highly recommend Angelina & Spencer for dogsitting. -Shannon Overton
