I have loved animals all my life. Growing up we had several dogs and cats that became part of our family. Throughout the years, I have become more knowledgeable about animals, their wants and needs! I always treat them will unconditional. I have cared for friends, family and client’s pets for over 20 years now. Some just for the day while their owner was working and others for a nice vacation! I am a stay at home mom and my husband works from home as well. With our five children we are very hands on with our animals and spend most of our time with them. When we host and animal for doggy day care or boarding we are home 100% of the time. We spend a lot of time outdoors and love to have adventures in our own backyard with all our new fur friends! At my home, we have a full acre in the back with a 6-foot privacy fence to protect all animals from getting out or for anything getting in! We always are constantly supervising pets and never leave them alone indoors or outdoors. We keep water bowls filled in and outdoor, and have an abundance of tennis balls and ropes for them to enjoy during their vacation! In a client’s home, I always do a check of the areas they are allowed to be first. This ensure that there is nothing unsafe for them to get into and allows me to take care of any messes or problems before they arise. Frequent visits and attention are key to making sure pets don’t feel lonely or neglected. Meet my pets My two dogs love to play with each other as well as other dog friends they meet. They also like to sun bathe and snuggle up inside on their dog bed. They will share their bed as long as they get to snuggle :) They are very friendly and love everyone. Hershey is a 3-year-old gentle giant that doesn’t realize his size and thinks he can climb right into your lap! He is very well mannered and likes to play with others or just lounge alone. Bella is a 6-month-old pup that thinks she runs the roost. She loves to play and cuddle, just as long as she has someone or another pup with her she is her happiest. We have several cats (that come in and out) that love to be with us as well as go off on their own. They do really well having dogs coming and going and tend to ignore them. One of our cats thinks he is a dog and will absolutely try to play and roll around. We love if your dogs like (or even don’t care) about cats, but we always make sure that our cats are safe with your dog just as we would make sure your pup is safe here! I stay at home with my children and we are currently homeschooling, so we are always home! Having 5 kids and 2 dogs, we are frequently in and out doors so your pups will have an opportunity to be in or out as often as they want! Our biggest goal is to make any visiting dogs feel just as comfortable as they are at home, with a little extra vacation feel! Whatever the routine is at their home, we try to follow as close as the owner prefers so it helps the dogs to settle in fast.
