“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided. “This was my Little Boy Blu’s first time with Keri. I was a little nervous because this was the first time he had been with a different sitter since his diabetes diagnosis in April. Blu needs his BG checked at least twice a day before meals, along with an insulin shot. Blu has also been with the same sitter for his entire life (9 years), so this was only the second time he has ever stayed with someone different. Keri treated Blu as if he were one of her own pets. Shayne and Jessica and their two little ones took such good care of Rosie. She fit right in with their family and for once I had zero anxiety traveling and leaving Rosie with a sitter. Rosie absolutely adores them. This family is an absolute joy and are so kind. I’m so thankful I found them.
Our little buddy, Theo, was so happy during his stay and Edward was so flexible with our drop off/ pick up timing. He had so much fun with Edwards dog as well and I was borderline worried Theo wouldn’t want to come home!! We will definitely be booking Edward again in the future.
Jeneice was great and even surprised me by saying Belle ate and Belle never eats at the sitters house. Despite my own personal shortcomings Jeneice was professional, polite and patient with me and I was grateful to have found her and in such short timing. 10/10 recommendation!
