He kept us updated with text and pictures. Also, Josie is a picky eater, but Luis was persistent in following my instructions on how to get her to eat. About: I have had much experience with pets my whole life. Growing up I always had pets in the house. If there is anything wrong with the pet I will gladly be able to take them to the vet. I have volunteered at animal shelters to help get dogs adopted. Dogs bring me so much joy and are fun to be around. Even when I am a little stressed with homework. I love animals so much. It gives me such joy playing both inside and outside with dogs. I hope that by throwing the ball and playing fetch with each and every dog I will grow to love dogs even more. You know what they say "a dog is a man's best friend", and I truly believe that.

My cat is often timid around new people but she warmed up to Kim very quickly! Plus the rover cards that Kim sends are always so good and reassuring. This isn’t directly related to cat sitting, but last fall there was a mass shooting in my neighborhood and she reached out to ask if we were okay (thankfully we were) and that was very thoughtful and appreciated. She also sent us a super cute Christmas card with a picture of our kitty and it was so sweet. Kim is the best and I can’t recommend her enough! About: I have been around cats and dogs my entire life. We always had at least 2 cats in my household growing up and they were all either rescues or strays. Our neighbor for the first 15 years of my life was a dog trainer and I learned and trained alongside hundreds of dogs. I LOVE all animals, doggies just have a special place with me. About: I used to foster, so I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs: big, small, anxious, loud, and pups with severe health issues. I know every dog is different, and I genuinely love getting to learn their little quirks, routines, and personalities. I work from home. Working from home allows me to keep a flexible schedule and make time for lots of potty breaks. On weekends, if your dog likes it, I’d be able to take them to a dog park for some extra exercise. I take in one dog at a time, so your pup will have my full attention! I have one dog of my own, a 5-pound chihuahua. I live in a three-story townhome, so your dog must be able to climb stairs OR be comfortable with me picking them up and setting them down.

About: Dogs get lots of love with us! Fenced in back yard allows for lots of outdoor playtime! Great Communication with owners for updates! Dogs must be friendly with kids (older kids). I work from home so can provide as many potty breaks as needed! We have fenced in backyard. We have 3 kids that love playing with the dogs as well! (9, 11, 16) Fenced in back yard! Dog welcome inside and on the furniture. Always treated like one of our own! Lots of snuggle time and we have one dog they can play with!

From the meet and greet and forward, Gretchen made me comfortable as I watched her with her dogs and mine. My pup is tiny so I am always cautious when he is with larger dogs which hers were under 40 lbs but my pup is only 9 lbs and he is a senior dog.
