“Rachel is the best. I’m a worrier. My dogs are my fur babies. I felt complete confidence in Rachel within minutes of meeting her. Came home after being gone for three nights to happy well cared for fur babies and she took good care of our home. I can tell from the notes she texted and left in the house that she truly got to know my dogs personality and my dogs behavior upon my arrival clearly showed that they enjoyed themselves while we were away. Rachel is wonderful!”

“Brooklynn is the best! She sent so many photo updates and my dog looked so happy. I didn’t worry about him at all while we were gone! We will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

“Tammy was amazing! She kept us updated throughout the time and sent the cutest pics and videos. She administered my shy and anxious kitty’s medication with ease and took her time letting October get comfortable. Thanks for giving us peace of mind this weekend! 💕 I’m sure October and Toffee are grateful too!”

“Whitney was an absolutely incredible dog sitter. My two boys just loved her and she followed all the routine routines perfectly. She went above and beyond tidying and cleaning up before she left as well. Would definitely book again.”

“Morgan is very professional and quick to respond with any scheduling or sitting questions. She is kind, calm and very knowledgeable. Morgan has pet sitted my dog and cat overnight at my home. She sent activity updates and photos of my furry friends. My pets were relaxed and happy with Morgan. She tidied up the house and even started a load of wash so that the house was just as when she arrived. Morgan is a very kind, pleasant and caring fellow animal lover.”
“Ayla is the absolute best!! She kept my anxious doggo company during the many storms, was patient with him, and sent lots of pictures! My home is always left cleaner than when I left and she takes great care of my baby. I could not recommend her enough- thank you again!!!”

About: What sets me apart is the personalized care and attention I give every dog, as if they were my own. I have experience with all ages—from playful puppies who need structure and training, to senior dogs who require patience, medication, and a gentle touch. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, routine, and needs, making their stay comfortable and stress-free. Whether it’s teaching basic commands, administering medications, or just providing a calm, loving environment, I’m committed to giving your pup the care they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work full-time in IT technical support, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The rest of the week, I work remotely from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Even on my office days, I plan ahead to ensure pets have everything they need and never go without love, potty breaks, or exercise. My schedule is consistent and reliable, which helps me provide stable, thoughtful care to every furry guest. My home is fully set up for dogs because I have one of my own, so safety and comfort are top priorities. I provide a clean, dog-friendly space with plenty of room to play, relax, and feel at home. Pets have access to cozy resting areas, toys, and supervised time indoors and outdoors. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and playtime. Whether in my home or a client’s, I treat every pet like family—keeping them safe, happy, and well-loved while you're away.
“Maria was kind and punctual. She came over for a meet and greet and the boys loved her. She was able to follow instructions well and even critically think on her feet when Goose decided he didnt like the extra food so she skipped it instead of wasting more. 10/10 will be booking again for a wedding in October 🖤😽”

“My dogs love Sarah. She is exceptionally good with them and sends me the best pics of them while I am away. I feel like she treats my pups like her own. Highly recommend.”

“Dawn is an absolute gem and took amazing care of our Boxer rescue, Bruno. She sent regular updates with tons of pictures (something our daughters loved) over the three days we were gone. Dawn went above and beyond during her stay and we are grateful to have found someone who can handle our anxious boy. In fact, we’ve already rebooked her for our beach vacation this summer!”

“I’m so glad to have found Erin! She was great staying with our dog and cat for a week! I was apprehensive about someone we didn’t know staying in our home, but my concerns ebbed away after meeting her. She came to the house two times (my request) to meet and get to know our Oliver and Swiss before we left. She was flexible when we had a plan change. She sent pictures of our pets ever day, and it warmed our hearts to see them! I know they were in good hands. She is kind, good communicator, responsible, and you can tell she loves animals. She was patient with our not-so-sure kitty who of course loved her. Oliver and Swiss both loved her! We definitely would ask her to stay again or do a drop in for them if need be!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hannah. She stayed at our home and watched our 2 year old rescue, a Japanese Chin/Terrier mix, while we were out of the country for a week.. She was thoughtful with sending updates and pictures, as well as responded to my texts in a timely manner. I am almost certain our Niko got longer, better walks than we give him on the daily. I felt extremely comfortable and at ease knowing Hannah was caring for our boy. Also our home may have even been left cleaner than when we left for our trip. I highly recommend her services!”

“Cassie took great care of Tater Tot while I was out of town! Tater and her pup, Collette, had a great time playing. Tater loved having a playmate as he loves other dogs. Cassie also took great care of my home and left it cleaner than I did!”

“Nicole was fantastic with my senior pups during her housesitting stay! Mobility issues and medications were handled with great care. Lots of cute pics were provided and my pups soaked up every minute of love and attention. Nicole has stellar communication skills and was very flexible when I had a last minute change in plans. I will definitely book her housesitting services again. I highly recommend her services!”
“Rudi has been a god send for us and our Great Dane/Mastiff puppy, Nuke. We’ve been using her for months when we travel for work, and she’s been with us every step of the way to his fun teenage stage now. She’s patient, kind, communicative, and his been instrumental in Nuke’s training during her stays. She goes above and beyond, and would highly recommend her to anyone.”

Nicole is a fantastic Dogsitter. She’s knowledgeable and caring and you can tell she loves animals and they love her! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures. She left our house sparkling clean and even watered my plants. We can’t wait to have her back!

We had a wonderful experience with Callie! She stayed overnight at our home with our two dogs for the weekend and took excellent care of them. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and comfortable while we were away. One thing we especially appreciated was the regular updates and photos she sent throughout the weekend. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We came home to two happy pups and a well-cared-for home. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Raven watched our 2 golden doodles for 2 weeks! They loved her and so did we. Raven is so sweet and she did everything we asked and more. This was the first time we have ever left our pups ( age 6 & 13) with anyone and they were happy with Raven. So nice to know we have her for the next time.

Dawn took amazing care of my pup while I had a few busy days at work. He was also recovering from a recent visit to the e.r. and she was incredibly gentle, caring, communicative, and conscientious of his health and recovery process while she was with him. My mind was at ease knowing he was in such good hands while I was away.

Nicole was lovely she watched my dog for 2 weeks while I was away! I got updates and pictures daily, and Jellie was happy as a clam while I was away. My pup is a bit nervous with others and she immediately warmed up and followed Nicole around. Definitely would recommend her to others!

Morgan was fantastic!! One of my dogs can be selective and wasnt shy at all with Morgan during the meet and greet and just wanted cuddles the entire stay. This was the first time we had a house sitter and Morgan gave me a good amount of updates! After the first day, my anxiety was eased and I knew my babies would be wonderful in her care. She even took out the trash, vacuumed, and cleaned our sheets! 11/10!

Natalie’s professionalism was on display from our initial contact and the dogs fell in love with her at the meet and greet. While we were gone, she was quick to respond to us, and usually she initiated contact; she sent multiple pictures and updates daily. She was patient with our high maintenance dogs and creatively and calmly handled their quirky behaviors. The house was in great shape upon our return, and the dogs were happy and healthy. We will definitely be seeking Natalie’s services again, and we highly recommend her to you.

Zulma was excellent and we couldn’t be more pleased with the way she cared for our pups! We got updates daily about our boys. When we arrived late last night we were pleasantly surprised to find our home even cleaner than we left it. It seems she washed the dogs’ bowls and vacuumed the floors. The best surprise was that she left two cute Polaroids of the dogs for us. It was such a personal touch. We will definitely be booking with Zulma again.

Taylor was great with my dogs and cat! I was worried that they might give her a hard time, but she sent pictures showing they were happy and playing ball outside. She kept us updated along the way and seemed very comfortable with them. Great pet sitter. Highly recommend Taylor!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Will-O-Dean Acres walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Will-O-Dean Acres maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Will-O-Dean Acres choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
