“Nicole has watch our senior dogs twice, and I’m looking forward to the next time. She also noticed the heat was stressing out some of my plants and she watered them without me asking. Which was much appreciated!”
“Tyler was amazing. Extremely communicative, but a good balance of not being overbearing. Asked the important questions, including idiosyncrasies about the dogs, and was able to send photos and updates throughout the trip. He truly bonded with them instead of treating it like just a job. We will use him again !”

“We are so grateful Whitney was able to look after our pup! Whitney was so easy to communicate with and took great care of our home and pup. Would definitely book again!”

“Absolutely amazing fur baby caretaker! My cat likes her more than us! The house was probably cleaner when I came home than when I left. I low-key don't want her name to get out just so she won't be booked when we need a petsitter again!”

“The absolute best! Thank you taking care of our little feisty man. Thank you for the updates etc. I would definitely rebook again!!! Virtual hugs bc I was soo worried and Erin melted my worries away.”

“Brooklynn is the best! She sent so many photo updates and my dog looked so happy. I didn’t worry about him at all while we were gone! We will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

“Maria was kind and punctual. She came over for a meet and greet and the boys loved her. She was able to follow instructions well and even critically think on her feet when Goose decided he didnt like the extra food so she skipped it instead of wasting more. 10/10 will be booking again for a wedding in October 🖤😽”

“Rudi is an amazing professional through and through! Beyond her fantastic dog handling skills she was incredibly thorough with her communication and care taking. We are eager to book her services again soon!”

About: Hi, I’m Annamaria — a Star Sitter here in Raleigh with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities 🐶💛 I truly treat every pet like family. My goal is to make your days easier and your dogs’ days happier — full of exercise, love, and attention! Before moving to North Carolina, I lived in Shanghai, where I volunteered with the local animal rescue team to protect and rehabilitate dogs — that experience made me even more passionate about providing safe, compassionate care. When I’m not playing with pups, I’m a mom of two, cooking healthy meals, and working out (so your dogs get plenty of energy from me too!). I’m available most weekdays between 9 AM–3 PM and 4 PM–8 PM, plus overnight stays for traveling families. ✅ Fresh food & water always ✅ Clean, cozy environment ✅ Playtime, walks & cuddles ✅ Daily updates with photos/videos Your pets will be cared for as if they were my own 🐾 Your pup will never be left alone here! 🐶💛 While I work full time during the day, my mom and my 4-year-old son, Liam, are always home to give love, attention, and company. There’s constant supervision, playtime, and gentle care throughout the day. When I return home, I take over with evening walks, extra cuddles, and a calm bedtime routine. Your dog will always feel safe, loved, and part of our family 🏡🐾 Your pup will stay in a loving, family-centered home where someone is always around to give care and attention 🐶💛. My mom and my 4-year-old son, Liam, are home throughout the day, offering gentle companionship and supervision. Our home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, with plenty of space for play and rest. I follow every owner’s instructions closely — from feeding times to favorite routines — so your dog feels comfortable and secure. We keep water fresh, play areas tidy, and give updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and loved like part of our family 🏡🐾.
“Alexandra was great with our dog Moxxi! They were best friends by the end of her stay. She kept us informed and made sure to send lots of pictures and updates. Highly recommend!”

“Cassie took great care of Tater Tot while I was out of town! Tater and her pup, Collette, had a great time playing. Tater loved having a playmate as he loves other dogs. Cassie also took great care of my home and left it cleaner than I did!”

“Dawn did a fantastic job. Dogs were very happy and she communicated very well (photos and videos) even though I was without access to check. Will DEFINITELY use her again.”

“Kaitlyn did a wonderful job house sitting and looking after our 3 animals while we were away for a week!! She provided daily updates and the best photos of all the pets. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Jordan was very communicative and helpful in setting everything up. He was also very attentive and sent lots of pictures and videos of the dogs while he was with them. They got lots of attention and outside time as well which was great for them.”

“Comfort was a great babysitter. She made sure to always check in when she was taking my dog on walk and how he was doing. Absolutely would book her again to take care of my dog while I’m away!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Willow Creek
We had a wonderful experience with Callie! She stayed overnight at our home with our two dogs for the weekend and took excellent care of them. She was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and comfortable while we were away. One thing we especially appreciated was the regular updates and photos she sent throughout the weekend. It gave us great peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such good hands. We came home to two happy pups and a well-cared-for home. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.

Raven watched our 2 golden doodles for 2 weeks! They loved her and so did we. Raven is so sweet and she did everything we asked and more. This was the first time we have ever left our pups ( age 6 & 13) with anyone and they were happy with Raven. So nice to know we have her for the next time.

Katherine was so great! We have 2 dogs and a cat and this was our first time leaving them alone with someone in our house. She helped us feel so comfortable and sent lots of pictures and videos to let us know how happy our babies were doing while we were away. We're already booking her again for a trip in a couple of weeks. It really means a lot to have someone so comfortable and communicative taking care of your babies!

Nicole was lovely she watched my dog for 2 weeks while I was away! I got updates and pictures daily, and Jellie was happy as a clam while I was away. My pup is a bit nervous with others and she immediately warmed up and followed Nicole around. Definitely would recommend her to others!

Ayla was very responsive ahead of the booking and very professional throughout our trip. She sent lots of pictures and updates and spent plenty of time with our two pups. She also helped make sure our little garden was doing well and picked some for us when it was ready. Overall we really like Ayla and are very pleased with her as a pet sitter!

Morgan was fantastic!! One of my dogs can be selective and wasnt shy at all with Morgan during the meet and greet and just wanted cuddles the entire stay. This was the first time we had a house sitter and Morgan gave me a good amount of updates! After the first day, my anxiety was eased and I knew my babies would be wonderful in her care. She even took out the trash, vacuumed, and cleaned our sheets! 11/10!

Taylor was great with my dogs and cat! I was worried that they might give her a hard time, but she sent pictures showing they were happy and playing ball outside. She kept us updated along the way and seemed very comfortable with them. Great pet sitter. Highly recommend Taylor!
Nhi was kind, responsive, and very caring for our cats! She kept me updated and sent pics. She noticed one of my cats wasn’t eating her dry food and reached out so we could troubleshoot. Our cats seemed to be really comfortable with her, cuddling with her on day one! Grateful for her help while we were out of town - Will book again!

Ramona is one of the best sitters I’ve ever had for my dog! She truly went above and beyond to take care of both my fur son and my home. She sent such sweet updates and pictures of them together, which made me feel so relieved because I always have anxiety leaving him. Really trustworthy, great communicator and such a big heart for animals. Can’t wait to use her again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Willow Creek on Rover is $55.5 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Willow Creek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Willow Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Willow Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willow Creek. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
