I currently work part-time, so I'm often free for overnight house sitting, as well as drop-in visits throughout the day. On my days off, I can stay at your home all day. Even on days when I work, I can still take care of your fur babies as long as they're okay being left alone for 6-8 hours. I try to always keep my calendar up to date to reflect my current availability!

I've learned how to read a pet’s body language and respond in the best way for each pet to feel safe, secure, and calm. Every pet is different, so I'm prepared to learn the ins and outs of your pets so that I can provide the best level of care for them. I'm able to provide oral medications, special feeding needs, and any other requests that you may have for your pet to make sure they are as comfortable as possible with me.

If you have any helpful information such as your pet's feeding schedule, morning/night routine, or any special instructions, please let me know! It would be helpful to know your dog's breed, how many dogs (or cats) you have, and if you have any exotic animals that would need care as well. If you have exotic animals, my rate is $10 extra per exotic animal.
A typical day
I'd love to spend time playing with your fur babies and getting to know them! On a typical day, we may go for a walk, play with toys outside, and then have some cuddle time to wind down. I will stick to their feeding schedule and any other routines that your pets are used to in order to make them feel comfortable!

Pet care experience
I’ve had hands-on experience with pets since I was a young teenager. I used to dog sit for neighbors and friends when I was younger. My family has always had dogs, cats, and fish in our home. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. I took my love of pets with me to work when I decided to work at PetSmart for my first job. I worked at PetSmart for over 2 years and learned all about how to care for not only dogs and cats, but all kinds of exotic animals (small mammals, reptiles, birds, and fish.) I also learned how to administer oral medications and care for sick or injured pets. In my spare time I volunteer at SAFE Haven for Cats, a nonprofit cat shelter.

This was our second time having Erin dog and house sit for us, and once again she was absolutely wonderful. We always feel completely comfortable leaving our home and dog in her care. Our dog adores her and was happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we returned, and our house was in perfect shape. She communicates thoughtfully and clearly, which gives us so much peace of mind. We would not hesitate to recommend her and will happily have her sit for us again.
Erin was wonderful with Gretchen and took great care of our home while we were away. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which really put us at ease. Gretchen was happy and relaxed when we got back, and everything at home was just as we left it. We’d love to have Erin watch Gretchen again!
I’m so glad to have found Erin! She was great staying with our dog and cat for a week! I was apprehensive about someone we didn’t know staying in our home, but my concerns ebbed away after meeting her. She came to the house two times (my request) to meet and get to know our Oliver and Swiss before we left. She was flexible when we had a plan change. She sent pictures of our pets ever day, and it warmed our hearts to see them! I know they were in good hands. She is kind, good communicator, responsible, and you can tell she loves animals. She was patient with our not-so-sure kitty who of course loved her. Oliver and Swiss both loved her! We definitely would ask her to stay again or do a drop in for them if need be!
Erin was absolutely amazing! I was on vacation with spotty service and she still kept me as updated as possible especially with a scrape on my pups head I was worried about! I could not recommend her enough and my dogs are crazy balls of energy
